- Cross is known for the HBO sketch comedy series Mr. Show, now resurrected as a Netflix original series With Bob and David. He played Tobias in Arrested Development. He created, wrote, executive produced, and starred in The Increasingly Poor Decisions of Todd Margaret, developed and had a prominent role in Freak Show, appeared on Modern Family and voiced Crane in the Kung Fu Panda among other things. He also did a guest appearance on Wonder Showzen satirizing Blue Collar TV. He was born Jewish and is an athiest. Cross helped fund Kickstarter. His Comedy albums include 1999 The Pride is Back, 2002 Shut Up You Fucking Baby, 2004 It's Not Funny, 2010 Bigger and Blackerer. David Cross has to be one the most intelligent comedians out there.

Now i feel i should qualify this by saying that all capitalists should be ground into fertiliser, and that Trump's particular racist oafishness helped strengthen racial bigots, white supremacists and other fascists, but you can make a more compelling argument that Bush's regency precipitated all of this, making all of it possible while killing millions in unjust wars

David Cross is one of the most reasonable people in popular entertainment. You can't poke a single hole in his logic. Pretty sad that most people who have a loud voice in our culture are spewing manipulative bullshit and/or vapid nonsense.
