Pinball is one of my favorites, here are some of my best games from it, a couple games took about five hours to play lol ua-cam.com/play/PLkDibyG_Md7C3BKTcKAEYqdbTYwknUh4Q.html
The hardcore PSVR community is very small and very tight. If you are part of the community you know who Without Parole Games are. They don't need any "self promotion". Instead of whining try visiting their channel, or better yet, our community.
Glad to see you join the PSVR community MJR. I'm borderline obsessed with the technology and I'm always on the lookout for more vr content. Look forward to lots of PSVR videos from you in the future.
I got a very little when i first started but it went away so fast i almost forgot about it. I'm actually surprised at how well I've adapted the VR when I completely thought I would get motion sickness like crazy
Moss. If you count that as 'hidden', Moss is absolutely essential and now available physically. Great video, thank you for a VR focussed one. I love how much cheaper and accessible the PSVR is in context.
I don't want to spoil it, but Megaton Rainfall's scope is...larger than what you see in the video. It was basically made by one dude as well, which makes it all the more amazing.
If you're thirsty, I found this hidden gem called "water". Doesn't really taste great and can be found anywhere, but I like the hidden kind in the garden hose behind my house...
It's cool that a lot of these VR games still have an old school sensibility to them. It's nice to play a simple game that's not an indie art game or giant AAA game blockbuster. Of course I'm poor with no VR so this is all theoretical.
Love my PSVR, so many great experiences. Wipeout Omega is a system seller. Resident Evil is brilliant. Polybius, Moss, BattleZone, Skyrim, Rez, Inpatient, Valkerie, eagle flight, fuck so many good games. Anyone who says PSVR isn't worth it either doesn't own it, or is the typical VR hater.
I'm just worried about motion sickness. I used to get it really bad for the game hexen on n64 and no matter how many times I tried playing it, it never got any better for me. So im worried I'll pay all that money for psvr and not be able to play it. Even if I sold it or traded it in I wouldn't get the full price back. Does anyone else have this problem?
YES! I used to love Battle Zone in the late 80s, As a kid, it was just great! Vr aint evolved much in the last 30 years, but...one day...full immersion.
A real hidden gem I think is a vr game called Sparc. I haven't seen it mention in any videos like these. It's a very active vr game and is probably one of the best in PSVR. It is a 1v1 game that requires you to throw a ball at the other player while dodging theirs, blocking it with you shield, or by punching their ball and catching yours. I recommend this game to anyone who has PSVR, please go check it out!
One of the first games for PSVR that I bought and still play every time I pull the headset out is Holo Ball. The Wipeout HD collection has a patch that you lets you play the entire game in VR.
Just got the VR. I don’t usually like digital only but I have been buying my VR games digital. It’s a lot easier to change games without always taking off glasses.
I run into that issue as well but some psvr boxes just look too cool to pass up! If you'd like to see psvr exclusive content, I do that on my channel. I actually like MJR so I don't want to feel like I'm stepping on toes or anything but I'd appreciate your feedback.
Very happy to see PS VR content from Jesus. Virtual reality is by far the coolest and most fun thing happening in gaming right now in my opinion. I'm currently 100+ hours into Skyrim VR - It's nuts!
When I bought my PSVR recently, I was worried that maybe it wasn't really well-supported, but even in my limited exploration, there's quite a large amount of inventive titles already made for it. It's really awesome to see all these different unique takes on VR gameplay. I hope Sony continues to grow the software. PSVR has breathed a ton of new life, or at least new interest on my part, into my PS4, and I see a lot of room for lots more titles.
Love Megaton Rainfall, but seriously, get Raw Data. It's super awesome! If you're into puzzle games, get Statik. Rez Infinite feels amazing, Archangel is also cool, Code51 mecha arena, Rigs, Mortal Blitz and Wipeout Omega's vr mode. Also, a cool collectible is Farpoint with the Aim Controller.
Yeah I'm surprised at how well Megaton actually runs considering how freaking huge it is. And I love trying to find random things that they actually did put in from Real World. Maybe in a few years they can do a Superman version and make the world exactly how it is at least pretty damn close
LOVE this video! Just got a PSVR Myself! If you ease into it, it's such a great time! Really loving my PSVR and you have to try it to understand that it's an experience. Like you hit on, the sense of scale is what really does it. One tip I found useful is set a fan pointed on you when using VR, helps trick the brain a little. PSVR Needs much more coverage! Always great to see Big Riggs! Think I'm gonna try PINBALL FX 2 and BAR FIGHT Sim!
I love my PSVR, I'm still on the honeymoon, but I'm enjoying it. I made sure to get a handful of great games. Skyrim, Borderlands, Moss, Astro Bot, Gran Tourismo, Tetris Effect, Resi 7, Farpoint, and Firewall. Also had some freebies like Rush of Blood from ps plus. I always thought VR was a gimmick, until I tried it for myself. I definitely see this as improving in the future. With the price cuts there is no reason not to own one if you have a ps4 pro. I barely played any of these games yet (It's only been a few days), but Astro Bot is mind blowing for a platformer. I'd love to see what Nintendo would do with VR, if Sony can make something that incredible.
Hijynx87 Great picks dude! Some truly awesome titles offering unique and amazing experiences available nowadays! I have a channel dedicated to PSVR coverage and I have a recent Top 20 PSVR games video uploaded and as a fellow PSVR enthusiast I would love to hear your thoughts! 👍
We need the best PS3 move games converted to VR. The Fight Sports Champions Eyepet. It also wouldnt hurt them to enable navi controller functionallity, even though it cant be tracked. Sure Killzone would be easilly converted to VR with the aim controller.
That's funny, I was thinking about making a similar video diving into some of the great PSVR games! Great stuff as always, guys! Although I agree with John, I don't know if SuperHot is much of a "hidden" gem anymore 😉
Bryan ONeill That is incredible and a shame why it hasn’t expanded to a fully fledged game yet! I have a channel dedicated to PSVR coverage and I have a recent Top 20 PSVR games video uploaded and as a fellow PSVR enthusiast I would love to hear your thoughts! 👍 Also if you have any questions or want recommendations, hit me up as I have played most games. 😁
PSVR is awesome. My favorites games are Moss, Resident Evil 7, WipeOut Mega Collection, Farpoint, and Skyrim VR. These games are worth getting a PSVR for.
Polybius is a game more people should know about. Amazing game in VR. And runs at full 120 fps with no reprojection. Especially if you like retro games and read on the history of Polybius.
Hey MetalJesus, if you got a Playstation VR then you should try Beat Saber, think Guitar Hero but with lightsabers it's simply awesome! Also you'll be interested to know that Dreams, the new MediaMolecule game, will be fully compatible with PS VR giving you the possibility to create your own VR experiences and also play the games created by the community!
I have seen John Riggs VR Podcast (most if not every single one of them) and it's awesome. So funny and entertaining. You may love it like me unless VR is not your things.
Some of these games are more must haves than hidden gems, one game that's not getting nearly enough attention is Sprint Vector. It has the best movement system I've seen in VR and would have awesome online multiplayer if more people were playing so give it a look.
Not a complete VR game, but one of the absolute essentials now for me, Wipeout Omega collection, they made a free VR updatr and it is amazing, 10/10 game

Great vid guys! MJR since like shmups, give Super Stardust Ultra VR a try! You can play the regular shmup ( which is awesome), but you can also play it in VR mode which puts you in the cockpit of the ship! It's only available overseas though.
Bro condemned is the perfect game for vr dammit now I want that lol. It’s crazy you mentioned condemned cus I just downloaded the first one on my Xbox one the other day to play it again
They've already proven it can work with RE7, so I don't see why not. Better arcade, magic and power games would be cool but we need more full title action/horror/shooter/melee games
I was waiting for you guys to mention it, the best VR game hands down not including Skyrim VR, is RAW DATA that has one of the most amazing VR experiences, I was shocked it wasn't mentioned. I spent a lot of hour playing that game and physically becoming tired from how crazy it is. Every friend or family member who wants to check VR out, I show them that game and they have an extremely good time.
Another great and informative video. The small details you include about the games like, physical copy only in Japan and digital in America, two motion controls needed/ can play with controller along with video of game play really helps inform my opinion of whether to buy a game or not. Keep up the great work!
Trickster VR has a full co-op campaign for 2-3 players. Most people don't know that this game got a co-op patch. If you enjoy co-op games, this is a true hidden gem.
I would like to add onto megaton rainfall some people dont know this but later you unlock the ablility to fly to other planets and you can land on them and even go to other galaxies ITS CRAZY cool!
TheArtisticVampire Yes it is! Amazing fun experience l, especially when the awesome music kicks in! I have a channel dedicated to PSVR coverage and I have a recent Top 20 PSVR games video uploaded and as a fellow PSVR enthusiast I would love to hear your thoughts! 👍 Also if you have any questions or want recommendations, hit me up as I have played most games. 😁
If you like puzzle games I would suggest Apex Construct. It has a combat element to it as well which makes it unique. I'll have to pick up some of these on PC since I don't have them yet!
Best experience of VR is New Retro Arcade Neon, an 80s arcade room full of classic cabnets well worth checking out but unfortunately wont be coming to Plastation VR
A game that I still have yet to play and can be played with the PSVR, but is not required, is Thumper. Thumper is a horror game, disguised as a brutal music/rhythm game. This game looks insane and awesome, based off the footage I've seen of the game. Have yet to play it, but it is a game that I do want to mention.
Can we please see an overall buyer's guide/review for PSVR in the near future? I just got mine for a very good deal and want to hear more of YOUR thoughts on VR. Thanks for the cool video!
you guys are like "all these calm games are great for introduction to VR" im sitting here making my family and friends play RE7 and until dawn rush of blood xD
Jojoflap Ha! It’s not hidden on my radar! Sold me on VR gaming completely! I have a channel dedicated to PSVR coverage and I have a recent Top 20 PSVR games video uploaded and as a fellow PSVR enthusiast I would love to hear your thoughts! 👍 Also if you have any questions or want recommendations, hit me up as I have played most games. 😁

Well done gentlemen! The more PlayStation VR coverage the better! :D
PSVR Without Parole meow!
PSVR Without Parole agreed!
Self promotion much?:)
PSVR Without Parole does NOT need any self promotion - go to the channel and see
The hardcore PSVR community is very small and very tight. If you are part of the community you know who Without Parole Games are. They don't need any "self promotion". Instead of whining try visiting their channel, or better yet, our community.
PSVR is so Underrated
Would you recommend one at the price? One I'm really looking at,is about 350 bucks all in ,
Pity though I've never played before VR I mean.....
@@Jademyheart well I got the camera, psvr headset, move controllers and a game all for 210 bucks
@@Jademyheart you just gotta search ways to buy cheaper, for example I bought the move controllers on a Spanish app called Wallapop (I'm from Spain)
I so agree. Yes the tracking isnt perfect. The move controllers could be better but overall I absolutely love it.
9:38 I think I speak for everyone when I say I'm so disappointed you didn't throw that guy off the balcony.
It's funny, when you do he just comes walking back in from the Elevator entrance like nothing happened.

Yes he sucked at that game. You just need a darker heart to have fun there🤣

You're either obsessed or you don't get it, there's no inbetween

Who's hiding all these gems?
The Gunman ME !( JK, LOL ;) )
Lol
The PS4 store has become like the old Wii releases. Flooded with tons of games, some good some bad. Gotta get though all the crap.
God
Scalpers
RE7 with all dlc is a must play. You haven't played RE7 till u do in VR.
But what about motion sickness?
@Borko Borko i installed RE7 VR, i can play it, there's no motion sickness.
I was expecting a little bit of it.
I got a very little when i first started but it went away so fast i almost forgot about it. I'm actually surprised at how well I've adapted the VR when I completely thought I would get motion sickness like crazy
I played this all the time at 12 night alone in the house!
Forgot I had re 7 😂 starting it tomorrow
For me, the best game is Wipeout Omega Collection on psvr. The patch is free for the VR support and it is amazing.
fucking amazing - its mindblowing
It's ok. I like Dirt Rally better lol
Moss. If you count that as 'hidden', Moss is absolutely essential and now available physically.
Great video, thank you for a VR focussed one. I love how much cheaper and accessible the PSVR is in context.
Thomas Harrison-Lord I agree, played the demo of moss, I’m interested picking it up soon, but I’m excited for Beat Saber.
LOVED MOSS!!! Amazing VR game.
Moss is dope! Wouldn’t say it’s a hidden gem though, neither is Superhot for that matter, these are both really well known VR games
Moss indeed. I played the demo and was pleasantly surprised how good it was so I ended up buying the recent physical release.
I don't want to spoil it, but Megaton Rainfall's scope is...larger than what you see in the video. It was basically made by one dude as well, which makes it all the more amazing.
Yeah I was thinking the same thing he didn't even explain that you can get to a point where its hard to find earth. Its huge
I have been waiting for VR since I was a child and the first time I played PSVR I literally teared up. Great video, bringing awareness to the system!
Me too. Ever since Lawnmower man.
I know that feeling. Free more years and it will be perfected

Super Hot VR and Light Tracer are so much fun. I really love playing these fantastic games.

Thumper! Thumper! Thumper! In VR with headphones is scary good!

Thumper was amazing at first but it got repetitive very soon
format_C I agree but I found the gradual increase in difficulty kept me going with it for a while at least.
I've never really got the appeal of Thumper or Rez?? I enjoyed the demos, but had no real interest in playing any more of them.

Ok MetalJesus, time to hit the treadmill!!!
NextVR, Astrobot, Statik, Coldplay, and Resident Evil 7...even though the jump scares are way too much for me haha
Astro bot is a must play along with blood and truth. Amazing games
Battlezone, in Vector, in VR? I’m in! 👍👍👍
buddy battlezone VR - and the new gold edition - is fucking amazing - you will be lost for countless hours
I bought operation warcade. Nice recommendation!!!! Thanks
Can we please see an overall buyer's guide/review for PSVR in the near future? I just got mine for a very good deal and want to hear more of YOUR thoughts on VR. Thanks for the cool video!
i think farpoint should be on this list, it’s so amazingly fun and i couldn’t stop playing it.
Great video, i really like my PSVR
you guys are like "all these calm games are great for introduction to VR" im sitting here making my family and friends play RE7 and until dawn rush of blood xD
SuperHotVR might be a gem, but it certainly ain't hidden.
Also if you have any questions or want recommendations, hit me up as I have played most games. 😁
"Accounting Plus" is funny as hell. You definitely have to play that
I really enjoyed “Thumper” it’s kinda like a puzzle / quick time event game. It really tests your hand-eye and reaction time
And RE7, but that goes without saying that’s the best VR option game there is
@@ItsRandomKam Horror in psvr changed the way I thought about gaming! I just find it really tense. Not scary, just really tense! If you like psvr content check my channel out. I made a video making fun of ASMR vids only I did it while playing The Persistence. You should check it out. I'd appreciate your feedback as well
That American Dream game looks awesome in a weird way haha!
No way! I just noticed the Opeth poster. Well done man, just, well done 😊
I don't see a lot of PSVR videos, thanks for giving us some love. Drunken barfight is awful though, haha.
Looks awful but is super fun.
WELCOME TO THE FAMILY SON
This is the hidden gem of the hidden gems videos!
My favorite PSVR gems that aren’t hidden - Wipeout, Sprint Vector, Resident Evil 7, Moss, Skyrim, Polybius, Thumper, Rez Infinite
Cool to see David Cross into VR games :)
It's nice to see guys around my age playing vr. My wife makes fun of me being almost 42 says I look ridiculous!
Good video! I love my PSVR :)
