The fact that PlayStation 5 is going to let you play PS4 games on it makes me really not regret buying all these PS4 games that I've yet to play. Finally got to play God of War last week and I loved it.
'Keep talking and nobody explodes' has to be the most underrated, under promoted game for psvr. We've had so much fun playing it and its great to be engaged with a friends together with just one headset/system.
i leave my breakout box set up all the time with the wires tucked away neet behind the the tv cabinet. then I've just the one wire from the head set to plug in when i want to play. its not been a problem at all.
I grew up dirt poor in south Philadelphia, so I'm extremely grateful for my adulthood success and love being generous. Just wanted to give the kid something I never had.
Rez Infinite is absolutely amazing. I’m really glad I got the limited physical release. The new Area X is even more immersive in VR and you won’t get sick at all because the movement is free. Going for the platinum trophy at the moment...
@@jeremiemummert989 Hi Jeremie I don't get motion sickness thankfully lol! I have on a few games got the sensation similar to being on a rollercoaster but even that was very rare.
A Fisherman’s Tale is a hidden gem on PSVR. Great presentation in vr. The developers did a great job in creating a box in a box in a box feeling with you in the middle box. Great game in my opinion.
Yeah! Caught this one much earlier than the last PSVR video. Trick is that it’s so warm and sunny Western WA this week that I feel wrong going into VR.
And for me personally, I have had PSVR sense launch. My first time playing gave me a WOW moment that I haven’t felt sense my first time playing Mario 64. And sense I started VR I haven’t played even one minute of a regular flat TV game. It’s just not the same. Even games that I assumed wouldn’t be good are fantastic in VR. It’s amazing.
I played an hour or two of Transference and was very impressed. The atmosphere, puzzles, and overall presentation were top notch (although the puzzles may be on the easy side, at least at the beginning). The only negative I could find was the design of the... Well, no spoilers.
I finally got PSVR yesterday and spent all night playing Beat Saber in my underpants. Pretty much woke up to find this video in my notifications and flipped out! Thanks for the quality content!
Love mine, about to get back into Skyrim VR. Got mine at Xmas, camera headset, Skyrim and astrobot for $249 AUD. Picked up farpoint with the aim controller, mad fun. Wipe out is dope, doom vfr and borderlands 2 both with aim controller is great. Just need a move controller for everybody golf VR.
@mylifeintheknifetrade really? To me I've kept the processor unit connected and I've put a tissue on top of it to keep dust away, the VR headset itself is in the box it came in all I have to do is wear it on my head and connect the 2 HDMI cables to it not that much of a task.
I haven't played too many VR titles myself, as I struggle with motion sickness but from what little I have played, I've enjoyed. Thanks for the list fellas.
Thanks for showing the psvr some love. I was bored with modern gaming then got this thing like a few days after first playing it at a friend's house. Ridiculously fun. Current favourite is In Death. It's like dark souls VR, but a rouge like game too, so fun to play when u get the knack.
BennyBsolo it’s great, I just got it yesterday. Just put the Top Gun soundtrack on while playing and it’s perfect. It’s really easy to get motion sickness though, but I suppose it’s realistic in a way, you would get sick flying jets without training...
Discovered recently that I can get pretty bad motion sickness with some VR games. Played about a dozen without a problem, but Rigs: Mechanized Combat League flushed me with hot sweats and made me sick for hours. Unfortunately Resident Evil 7, the main reason I wanted a PSVR (although didnt get ahold of it until a few days ago) also had a similar, albeit not as intense an effect. Seems to be certain sorts of movement. Not sure if you realize, but you can also use the PSVR set with PC these days. Works nicely. Marginally better than how well it works for PS4 Pro (PCs hardware has an influence, but it's only a mid tier sort of set, so it has it's own inherit restrictions). I was happy to discover this as it opens up a wider range of available games.
I like these videos bro I started watching Reggie and a little handcock because of THE metal Jesus I like pickups vidz and show cut scenes of game being talked about iv been watching siccooper lately cause all the darn games show but I alway watch metal Jesus for the love of were I started watching you tubers but I got a cool collection myself back b4 I started watching game discussion vidz again I used to watch the AVGN but I collect for all systems and he was always about That Nintendo haha
Much respect MJ. You’re a legend in my eyes, so please let me help you out here. PSVR can get put away, try Oculus Quest on May 21st release. (Roam Freely in 15x15 space, no wires, no pc, 50 games at launch, rec room & vr chat in that launch)
I've enjoyed a lot of Riggs VR videos before now, I dont think the screen capture probably reflects the game play/immersion so much but its fun to watch anyway, I think VR tech would be the best on flight sims like the Star Wars on at the end of this clip
I know it's impossible to show VR in a video, but I'm dying to see what the Batman game looks/feels like. Also say what really wanted to about Amazeballs. In this game you need to manipulate your spheres. We all know you wanted to say "manipulate your balls." Juvinile? Yup.
Nice video big ups to you John another huge PSVR enthusiast great to see from Taz (Taznic Gaming) all fantastic games super amazeballs has to be seen to be believed and it is extremely well done in VR Keep on rocking it dude love your vids
Déraciné was really good, played through it in a few sessions. It’s got the really strange From Software mood. Too bad we didn’t get a physical release in Europe, would’ve loved it.
Every time you do these VR videos it costs me a fortune. A lot of these are on Steam for the PC too, Pixel Ripped looks like a ton of fun. It's great to see so many cool ideas starting to get fleshed out in VR.
Valkerie, Elite Dangerous, and soon No Man's Sky VR. The first two, wow are they amazing. The Climb is great, there are alot of great games out there if you have the cash for a nice PC to run the VR (I have oculus) experience. I've played some of the titles on this list via a friend's console and ya, half of these are good/great. I loved the doom.
dude! i have always thought you might have awesome taste in music ever since i hawked that opeth poster in your game room.. but that cruachan shirt verifies this for sure!.. duder! cruachan is one of my favorite celtic bands...along with skyclad, eluivetie, and tuatha de dannan from brazil. interesting you are sporting a shirt from one of their more brutal black metal style albums, i was introduced to them with the The Middle Kingdom album which is one of my favorites.. i dig their newer stuff as well rock on and wassails!

It’s a good day when Metal Jesus drops a video.
I just recently bought my VR . Thanks for the advice. Great recommendation.
Didn't know about Doom VFR original levels, thanks 🤘
Thanks for sharing our game Pixel Ripped. I'm sending a big hug on the name of the team :)
Thankyou for making that game, loved every second of it.
Never heard of Pixel Ripped but I’m buying it and playing it this weekend. Thanks Johnriggs & MJR!
AnaGameDev your game was awesome the last boss kicked my ass so many times before I beat it though lol 😂
Glad to gear guys :)
I thought it was shite..... Just saying

I really need to get my hands on a VR set for the Chronik Spartan collection!! The wires have put me off but the games look so tempting!!
I’m hoping the next iteration of VR from Sony will be wireless.

Beat saber is cool even the game five nights at Freddy's vr game with some horror game gives you a terrifying and fun experience.
John: Can you play VR with your glasses on?
VR is the future of video games!
My guy, you had me at "yeet these fireballs".
Keep the PSVR hidden gems coming please, I love finding new cool games to play on mine. 😃👍

Lol tell me about I live in CO and spring is on full swing here but I also want to play some VR
galebanbollow yeah, too damned hot out there! :D
Awesome video , I love it when you have John Riggs with you. He’s such a cool guy.
Great video! Have a PSVR myself, quite a few of these I did not know about AND I have Doom VFR! Going to for sure unlock those!
Don’t forget Doom VFR is the in-between story before Doom: Eternal just an fyi I love it!

Another great thing about VR, is that it’s giving a lot of indie devs a platform to make a name for themselves
Ayyy good timing fellas, just moved my PSVR setup to a bigger and comfier room of the house.

and it was your last video that caused me to buy one! 😂
Nice! It's a fun add-on to the PS4
When I hear the word "Throbbing" I do not think of music... 😂
I agree with Pixel Ripped 1989 being an awesome experience/game. And Psychonauts!!! Can't wait to uncover those Doom levels. Thanks!
Awesome video
I was expecting Polybius to be on your list, but then it did melt minds in 1981, so melts more in VR.
I haven't played too many VR titles myself, as I struggle with motion sickness but from what little I have played, I've enjoyed. Thanks for the list fellas.
Great video!! I've had my PSVR almost 2 years and still have my mind blown on a regular basis. I've got over 1600 hours in my headset.
I'm this close to buying a VR just for Psychonauts, I adore that game.
Once again, awesome episode!! Rock on!

Great video, you guys. These games look interesting. Especially, the first game.
All those games are very very awesome!

Rez is a "hidden gem"? I've heard it all now.
MJR's terminology for hidden gem is about as loose as Druken Master Paul's sphincter
Some people know about Rez on X360, Dreamcast...but people forget it's on VR. I've had to remind several people.
