    Basically you have 4 18650 batteries 3.7v 2200mAh each (cheap ones) if you convert it to Wh (Watt Hours) its 32.56Wh at 3.7v 8800mAh, at 5v however you get capacity only 6512
    9v - 3617mAh
    12v - 2713mAh.
    If your router consumes 5Wh (you can find Wh it by multiplying V*A=Wh on router's label) so 32.56Wh can run a router with 5Wh for 6.5hours on a battery life. Thats best case scenario if those cheap batteries are really have 2200mAh in capacity, if its possible to replace them with 3000mAh capacity for example Samsung ones, thats going to be 44.4Wh in total and can run same router for almost 9 hours

    Hi, thanks for your review. Would you perhaps know if it would work on the Rain outdoor router? I have the Rain router mounted on the roof, and connected to an indoor Wi-Fi router. Just struggling to wrap my head around how it would connect to the UPS. I’m thinking the POE cable into the UPS POE slot, and the LAN cable from the indoor router to the UPS. Would this be correct? Thanks again.

    So I need to keep it plugged in all the time - will you not have to replace the ups sooner seeing that it is on charge the whole time?

    • @hulkingmedia

      Hi R. Fourie Thats great to hear, you will not be disappointed with the UPS. And to answer your question: No, this UPS has Over Charge and Discharge protection. Hi Eunice, yes plug the UPS into the wall socket (main). Let it charge to 100%.
      The UPS will always be plugged in. You will never have to unplug it as it will always recharge.
      Now, Remove your Router's power cable. You will use the power cable provided in the box to plug into your router.
      Thus, your router will always have power as it will be running on the UPS battery when there is a blackout.
      You will have to setup the UPS before a blackout. The UPS will automatically run on battery power in a blackout no extra steps are needed.
      You may leave the UPS plugged in and you won't even realize your wifi is off.

    • @hulkingmedia
      @hulkingmedia  Рік тому

      Hi stance works, so this Gizzu UPS is primarily made for routers and fiber boxes (ONT). Thus you would plug in the power cable of the router into the Gizzu. Same goes for a fiber box. The power cables are provided with the Gizzu UPS (the power cables/adapters that you plug into your devices). If your device doesn't have a power cable input and rather an Ethernet port you will have to go with the POE Gizzu UPS (This is a different Gizzu UPS model). Thanks for watching.

      Hi Fatima, usually the voltage of the router would be under the router or at the back of the device. Same goes for the fibre box. If the information is not displayed on the device itself, it would definitely be inside your device's user manual in the specifications section. Hi There.
      I've tried. But it looks like my Vuma ONT has a different size male plug. The one provided does not fit. Hence I'm confused. 🤣🤣 Had to now buy different attachments for these DC cables. I hope to God these ones fit.
