      Hey Ranjith,
You don't need a Router UPS. You can have a USB to DC barrel adapter and connect it to a two way charging power bank which costs less than 1k. I have been using in this way from the past 6 months with my TP-Link AX1500 WiFI 6 router and Mi power bank without any issues. You can use the same power bank to simultaneously charge your phone on a long power cut. Even the mileage is far better like 7-10 hours of backup depends on usage.
Router UPS isn't worth the price. I hope this helps for most people.

Its very easy, for creating 12volts you need 3 things
      2, 3.7v batteries from a powerbank, a 2S BMS (150-200rs) and a dc-dc boost converter (200 rs)
BMS takes care of charging the batteries in a balanced was and also keeps the voltage stable while discharging. DC-DC boost converter connects to BMS and converts 7.8v from BMS to regulated 12 volts
My UPS which has 2 batteries from Mi 10000mah powerbank (2.5 years old) runs the router for more than 6 hours

6 month back I purchased Cuzor Mini 12V UPS from Amazon. First I decided to buy Resonate UPS. But overall rating and price was better with Cuzor UPS. One issue with Cuzor UPS is that it doesn't have an option to wall mount. Used a double sided tape and problem solved. Easily getting 4 hours of back up.

DRU - 8000 is much better choice, at least for me bcoz i have a 9v router and a 12v ONU. I have to power both simultaneously. I tested the ups with both of my devices connected and I kept it running for around 5 hours and as per the indicator I still had 40-50% power remaining. The best thing is that it costs same as the resonate and I didn't have to buy other splitter with it and it has 8000mah battery which is greater than the resonate I think.

I have the resonate/Zinq model ( branded differently but the same exact unit ) and I use it in my car as a dashcam battery backup. I have it connected to the fuse panel under the dashboard on a fused cable. Then my dash cams hard wire kit was soldered to the wiring plug that came with the unit. It does a great job for use as a parking mode function so it doesn’t run my cars better flat whilst parked and records constantly until the battery UPS runs out of charge or until the built in parking mode timer tells the camera to stop recording.

Should've also included Cuzor Mini UPS which is made in our very own Bengaluru. Spec wise its identical and has nice better overall fit and finish. Cuzor has the feature of on/off completely. I have it and it switches off the router if I select the off button. I have a fiber modem and a router both of which have combined output of 12v 2amp so I just attached a DC splitter cable and its providing power to both of my devices. I have been using Zinq ups with a wiffi router and a modem with the help of a dc splitter cable. Both devices require 12 V input. So dc splitter cables works as a parallel connection. It gives me around 4 hours of back-up with both the devices connected. Also, one needs to check the current requirement as well. For example, my router requires 1.5 Amps and my modem (onu device) requires 0.5 Amps. Total requirement 2 Amps. The Zinq ups output capability is 2 Amps max. So, it works fine.

As an Electrical Student I’d harvest some li-ion cells from old laptop battery or a powerbank and I’ll get a BMS board from Robu or Amazon for like 300Rs and make my own pack of 12V and for dual voltage mode I can use a buck converter which is like 100rs and I’ll vary the POT to get 9V. Voila now you have your own UPS with much more backup time
..This is my setup i power my fiber ONT and a TP link router at the same time and it lasts for more than 7Hours…If you are in to DIY.This is your go to solution

That could be a big and major factor for deciding the product . Other than this , its a good video thnx
