  • Sorry for the delay on this video. I've been at a WW1 reenactment for the past 2 weeks, I stayed in a muddy hole the whole time and died of gangrene.
Also sorry the few audio cut outs strewn about the video, take it up with my audio guy in the comments. You'll know him when you see him.
At 7:11 I say "wielding unwieldly" which was meant to be "wielding unworldly", but, if someone is capable of wielding something unwieldable that's even more impressive than it being unworldly. Either way I'm blaming that mistake on my audio guy as well.

Because the ww franchise was sold to universal studios, who in turn gave ww2 a bigger budget, better props, bigger actors lead by a better director and producer. It was decided where world war 1 failed ww2 would be a global block buster to show our Alien overlords the human race and earth is no longer a place to be fucked with. Ww2 was a huge success so much so the aliens left and swear not to return to for 500 years deporting themselves to the dark side of the moon.so thats the story of ww2 and why aliens no longer talk to us.

But in terms of action, WWII was definitely better. Much more fast paced and much closer to the villains winning.

Dude, 1918 saw the French army seeing more mutiny than an ability to fight off the Germans coming back from the Eastern front. It was the push through the Ardennes forest by the Americans that really drove the nail into the coffin. If it weren't for the fresh batch of troops who were itchy to earn their war fatigue, the Germans would have had a more favorable outcome from the war's end for sure. There's an old article where the main German general admits as much (also noting the British blockade as a difficult pressure)
