VERY IMPORTANT TIP: do not guess that you can substitute the button for a lever. If you leave the lever on, it will keep pumping tnt and destroy your cannon!

If you use a piston, you can substitute for a lever if you wish to vary the pulse length.

If the canon is not working perfectly (sometimes destroys itself) I suggest putting four repeaters (two on each side) not on full delay, rather on zero delay, this might decrease the range for a little bit, but it won't destroy itself.
Uh its works very fine and i think Don't spam the button. And uh use stone button because i experimented a bit and some buttons kinda is delay so. I recommend the stone button

Is this tutorial for Java Edition? Once, I made a Bedrock Edition cannon on my battlehip-house on Java. Half of it was gone.

Guys if your Cannon keeps "Self destructing" remove 1 of the repeaters that have 3 ticks on each side, the problem is that sometimes it explodes before all the TNT gets out of the dispensers

Barrier blocks are stronger, and invincible. Especially where it is against explosion damage, bedrock and command blocks, have 68,000,000 blast resistance, but barrier blocks have 68,000,003 lol.

I have a fun story. Forever ago I was playing on a Voltz servers. Voltz being the ballistic missile based modpack allowing you to create genuine orbital long range missiles. Now I had played this server for months. Voted everyday using every link. Ended up being a millionaire with the in-game currency. Massive fortress, tons of ballistics and counter ballistics. I was untouchable. One day this dude gets on, obviously hacking. Sets himself to creative, kills me, removes my spawn, I had nothing. He changed the land claim to his username so I couldnt touch my own property. I spent the next month plotting my revenge. I build my own base inside a nearby mountain and well-equipped myself in secret. The first ballistic missiles didnt work since the counter offense I had built in base 1 was so effective. Many missiles were banned for being genuinely overpowered so those were out of the cards. These were fire while he was offline so hed never know. I decorated my mountain estate to look as such. A mountain resort. Non military vacation spot. It was beautiful. As the new year got closer I sent messages to everyone on the server offers to pay for massive amounts of redstone, dispensers, gunpowder, everything you would need for an awesome fireworks display. Even the mods were getting the word out. When the time came for the new year the mods teleported those participating to the viewing area I had set up for a fireworks display. Between them was a massive sand wall with pistons separating the wall from the torches underneath. When the time came I talked in chat of the awesome server we had been playing on and the factions that have banded together over the last several months. Then I called the hacker out by name. Told him how pissed he made me that day. I flipped the switch and dropped the wall displaying an artillery cannon very similar to this but much, much, much larger. I could feel the horror of the server the second that wall dropped. But there he was. Cant hack bc the mods were watching. Clocks counts. 20 second to new year. Everyone on my property so they couldnt break my enclosure. 10 seconds to new year, I press the firing button. TNT sizzles 7 seconds, cannon fires. Several times. The one thing that counter defense wasnt good for was vanilla game explosives. I watched the horror fill his eyes as his castle, MY castle crumbled before him. As the clock hit midnight I sent one message. "Happy new year douchebag." Then boom, I was kicked for saying douchebag. The end.

After a week of learning redstone by messing around with it myself, I made a anti aircraft tnt launcher that launches tnt up to -71 527, 72 which I'm planning to double the height the TNT is launched up.

! It's worth mentioning: To increase the odds of a further TNT shot, I'd recommend to just place one water at the very back of the barrel so the water flows down toward the front, pushing the TNT down the stream, and creating a bigger blast and throwing the TNT further :)

Hit in da Eye Minecraft I mean at a time, lol. The cannon worked fine to me, but if I pressed the button twice, the tnt would overload and knock each other back into the barrel, destroying the machine. You might’ve made a small timing error in yours, or made the same mistake I did.
