Played a house show with them a few weeks back. Some of the nicest guys I've had the pleasure of playing with. Tremendous musicians as well. Seeing them live was something else.
What band were you in my dude? I hope you still read this after 4 years ;^)
I have to say I really feel like the soul of some of the late 90s early emo greats are being channeled through these guys. I'm impressed. that scene meant everything to me along with punk rock and it seems to be misunderstood by a lot of those who are hearing it now for the first time and also because it was marketed by big labels and MTV. but it's not a look it's music that transcends many other genres because it captures some of the strongest feelings we have as humans and encapsulates them in song form and each time you hear that song it makes you feel more than alive, it is a connection that I haven't felt anywhere else in life.
i realize it is kind of randomly asking but do anyone know of a good site to stream newly released series online?
@Jay Zander Meh atm I've been using Flixportal. You can find it by googling :D -alejandro
@Alejandro Xzavier Thanks, I signed up and it seems to work :) I appreciate it!!
His guitar work is enchanting to me. Nothing like I've heard before.
hits me each and every time
Proud fellow Minnesotans.
So, I was listening to Modern Baseball- Your Graduation yesterday and I had finished listening to the song.. I decided to click on this song and I am so fuckin glad I did. This band Is phenomenal. SO amazing. omg fucking epic. I cant stop listening to this band. I love this song the most.. Such an incredible performance.
E P I C
Dylan delivers on solid guitar work as always.
beautiful
wow that guy was like played two guitar at once
I know its hard to believe its just 3 guys
One of my favorite records last year, easily.
That face at 2:16... Fucking priceless.
True! But he also looks genuinely happy :3
I know he’s using a dl4 at 2:17 but how does he sync it so perfectly! Is it prerecorded on there?
Excellent quality on the live stuff! I agree vocals sounded excellent!
I can't stop listening
im so im love with this band omg ! the lyrics is like a pillow for my problems, they just tell MY LIFE in the songs, and the math rock influences just bring mor light for the band.
i love you so much guys, no lies .
Awesome!
they were WAY more intense live
These kind of sessions are all about sounding good, not about the craziness
I saw them live a couple of days ago, and it was great and all, but this is still probably my favorite rendition of this song. It just SOUNDS great, which, for me, is worth more than stage acrobatics, even if, admittedly, seeing TMP live is something to behold.
Can't wait to see them when they come back to rochester in June!
I get on this channel every day to see if Sorority Noise has been put up yet looking forward to it.
Paul Rudd is great on the bass
And Danny Masterson on the drums.
I may not be gay, and I may even have a girlfriend, but I still don't think I'd say no if I had the opportunity to marry Dylan. And I'm comfortable with this.
Donavan Dover Donovan...you are amazing...
Haha. Thanks, but you guys are amazing. You seriously pick some of the best artists. I actually have a life goal to come and play there someday, you're the best.
I'm glad I'm not the only one
Donavan Dover same
Yes. There are more of us.
I met these guys on my birthday and it was so great
they got nice gear.
Saw these guys live 2 nights ago. Fucking badass show c:
701 for life.

Can anyone identify that snare drum?
Is your drummer David De La Holtz from Listener?
Nah it's Bill 😂
i beg somebody to tab this out on guitar.
As do i
Mh, looks like UA-cam deleted another one of my comments yet again. Why not.
Anyway, here you go (it's a Guitar Pro file): tabs.ultimate-guitar.com/t/tiny_moving_parts/dakota_guitar_pro.htm
If you don't have Guitar Pro and want a pdf, let me know. There's at least one other tab on Ultimate Guitar that's close enough though.
Kasey Pettit it's already been tabbed
@@Gnarrkhaz why is UA-cam delething your comments
how'd he make that noise with the guitar at 2:16?
I can't really tell but it might be some wacked out delay pedal or probably a mix of that and some other pedals, It's kind of impossible to tell.
I was thinking a tremolo pedal, but he hits it so fast and smooth it'd be near impossible to do that change. time to start experimenting!
Ohhh yeah that's probably it because I forgot with most normal delay pedals you can't just trigger it like that, hmm yeah I'll try sometime too and I'll tell you if I figure it out haha
I know this is old, but he uses a line six dl4 delay and has a preset saved that has the repeats set to max and delay time short to get a semi-latch on whatever chord he is playing. he plays a chord or not, presses the preset switch in and it plays that note at whatever rate he has it set to..... I only know this because I've got a dl4 and set 2 presets to do this so i can switch between chords live without having to turn the preset on and off again.
Tyler Fulford Cool, thanks so much man!
