This playoffs has been my favorite in maybe a decade. Not just the finals this year, its every round. Wild.
Best playoffs I can remember in a very long time, because so much is up in the air, not pre-determined.
The first round was some hot garbage except for 2 rounds
I know, so many series have already been fantastic!!! (the only problem is that I’m struggling to keep up with my everyday life at this point - I’ve never been completely invested in essentially every single game😅)

@@mccm333 ehhh idk. Boston is the most heavily favored team since the Warriors runs. Only one game 7 in the 1st round, 2 sweeps, 2 gentlemen's sweeps. Last year was pretty epic, Denver won but nobody (except me and denver fans) predicted them to win until they swept the Lakers.
What makes this year better for me is that OKC is the #1 seed, as an OKC fan.
As a cavs fan, you guys went into more detail on the Cavs Celtics series more than anyone else besides Cle sports radio people and wanted to say thank u

As a Celtics fan, you start to wonder when NBA podcasts would do anything more then glaze them over at the end. I was worried it would have to be the ECF finals before that would happen...

No player on the Cavs is an X factor in that series. The only X factor is the Celtics as a whole. If the Celtics come out and play their game there is nothing the Cavs can do to win. The only chance the Cavs have is if the Celtics beat themselves

@@McSnuff29 they literally haven’t always matched up well against the Celtics 😂 if you think you have a shot I won’t argue your delusions but you’re going to be very disappointed. The Cavs have no one who can score other than Mitchell and they have no one who can guard Tatum Brown or White especially when your center is going to be guarding Horford on the 3 point line the entire series. Celtics are better at every position except point guard and our point guard is a defensive menace
@@gnielsen07 it’s not. The Celtics were 21-4 without KP this year. The Cavs outside of Mitchell can’t score and congrats you have 3 all defensive team guards ready to check ball. You have absolutely no one who can guard Tatum Brown and White while Al and Jrue rain 3’s all over your defense that could barely stop the Magic

If Chet were on San Antonio right now, do you think he would have had the same kind of impact?
Chet is a Pop kind of guy. Doesn't hog the ball. Doesn't turn it over. Plays good defense. Can score if he gets shoots. But doesn't need shoots in impact the game. That's the Spurs championship teams. Chet would work. Wemby is good don't get me wrong, but Chet was just as impactful for OKC that Wemby was for the Spurs.

OKC fan here ... We have to rebound better, that is our weakness plain and simple. In the first series it would of been a totally different match up if the Pelicans had Zion. If Pelicans had one more big man we would see a different match up, I think OKC would still win but it would look more like a 4-2 first round win.
Dallas has 2 of the best PnR defenders in the league.

Hell no, Lu is better against bigger, ball dominant players. He has the stature, physicality, and mindset to "play bigger". Jdub can play bigger too, but his length will be better in defending kyrie since no one on the thunder is quick enough to keep pace with kyrie. At least with Jdubs length he can recover better after getting cooked.

Cleveland is terrible offensively to the point where Donovan Mitchell had to score more points in games 6 and 7 of the first round than the rest of his team COMBINED.
