Watched the Mavs all year. The real difference to the team is Gafford / Washington and how they gel within the team. Washington actually surprised how well he played in the playoffs. He wasn’t as impactful as Gafford was during the regular season. Gonna be great.
The Mavs ended the season 13-2. No injuries, and the vibes were great. How you rank at the end of the year is hugely dependent on your first 60 games. How you play in the playoffs depends on your last 20 and the playoff matchups. Mavs have gotten better and better during the playoffs. Had Mavs played Denver or Minnesota in the first rounds it might be different. But they didn’t and they have the potential to really win it all. Celtics haven’t played anyone to challenge them (or had a chance to win) in the playoffs. Don’t tell me the Heat or Cavaliers really were competitive. Pacers collapsed and I never thought they really had a chance either.

the best preview of the NBA FINALS i have ever seen. the way you broke it down is such a masterclass, a breath of fresh air compare to ESPN and all the other NBA shows out there.
For me this is finally the opportunity that Luka has been looking for, there is no way he is going to let this slip away. He deserves to win, but in the end we’ll see who wants it more on the court. No credits should be taken away from Celtic, basically destroyed everyone in their way, with teams having no answers on how to stop them. Beautiful and coordinated basketball displayed by a team filled with talented individuals, the coaching staff has done a tremendous job at guiding the team to the right direction and level. It felt like they knew exactly what to do in every minute of the game. Even when faced with roadblocks, like Jayson underperforming or getting guarded heavily, other individuals took over and made the difference. They had answers for all the problems they faced.

the best preview of the NBA FINALS i have ever seen. the way you broke it down is such a masterclass, a breath of fresh air compare to ESPN and all the other NBA shows out there.
For me this is finally the opportunity that Luka has been looking for, there is no way he is going to let this slip away. He deserves to win, but in the end we’ll see who wants it more on the court. No credits should be taken away from Celtic, basically destroyed everyone in their way, with teams having no answers on how to stop them. Beautiful and coordinated basketball displayed by a team filled with talented individuals, the coaching staff has done a tremendous job at guiding the team to the right direction and level. It felt like they knew exactly what to do in every minute of the game. Even when faced with roadblocks, like Jayson underperforming or getting guarded heavily, other individuals took over and made the difference. They had answers for all the problems they faced.
