Nice overview. It would be nice to have a follow-up showing solo mode examples :)
I've thought about making a short 2 minute video showing solo mode. I was tired of hearing myself talk so I had to end it where I did. Haha.

Quick question on Remedies, you said they can only be played on your turn, but when does whip come into play? Do you play it on your turn and leave it out or do you play it just whenever someone tries to push or dash on you despite it being their turn?

Great question. Whip can be played when it is not your turn, for example if another player tries to move in front of you, you could play it and they would not move.

if ever your alreade 6 or more with your symptoms cards but after the mingling in your cards it became less 6 in that case im cured with pkagued and doesnt have plague already until we finish the race?
If you ever have 6 on your symptoms you have the plague for the rest of the game. After mingling if your cards are lower than 6 - you still have the plague.

Definitely possible to have your symptoms drop below 6. BUT, you still have the plague, there’s no cure.
So how can I control that players dont cheat about it?
@@gerbertmartimitjana1181 you need an arbiter to review the symptoms cards acquired by players each time after mingling.
In my family , we cant play this game without arbiter.
An arbiter has to monitor who was plagued and aho wasn't ever plagued.
If someone has the plague, mingles, and then doesn't have it anymore on their cards and they make it out of town how do you know they still are infected? Just an honesty thing?
Correct! Nothing but good ol' honesty here. If you find out someone has been cheating in the past, I give you permission to push them from the back cart and leave them on the side of the plague infested streets. ;)

@@jewfrogabe19 Haha - remedy...like the remedy cards. Probably not intentional, but that's what I thought.
Yeah, I wish there were a way. I honestly can't think of anything easy other than take some token...which would give away that you had the plague... For this weight of game and what it is going for, I'm cool with it being an honesty thing. If you have a good solution though I definitely wouldn't be opposed to adding it in when I play.

Honesty seems like a loose solution to a big problem I can imagine many will have with the game.
I think I will print out some tokens and give each player two tokens that are identical on the facedown side (chosen character seal or something) and then have the Infected or healthy on the other side.
Each player must always have one token be visible on the tabel facedown in front of them. Only to be revealed at the end.
This game needs to have an arbiter who checks the symptoms cards acquired by players after such mingling.
In our family, there is no honest player that would admit he/she was plagued prior to his/her reaching the exit line.
An arbiter sounds like it may be needed in your family. Haha.
After playing and thinking about it, that is the only way to keep players honest. That being said it seems silly to me to lie about it. I think secretly having the plague and causing others to lose is one of my favorite moments in all of board gaming.
Haha I guess if you all have smartphones you can make it so you have to take a photo of your cards before you shuffle them back in, that way everyone's photos can be checked later to see.
There are players that are very competitive, and then there are players who like to poke at flaws in games. The fact that there is no incorporated system to keep track of who has the plague is a deep flaw in this game. People treat games as “games” sometimes those people look at dishonesty as part of the game. I love this game, but it’s annoying i have to think of a game mechanic that tracks this. Winning is always that much more satisfying when it can be proven. Other than that, it’s just havoc.

According to rulebook "You can play
any number of Remedy cards at a time, but you may not play a card that you drew in the same turn"
Strange. Looking at page 6 of my rulebook and the one I looked up online it says “You can play any number of Remedy cards on your turn, and you are allowed to play a card that you drew in the same turn.” Wonder if it is an older version of a rulebook…shouldn’t be cause it’s a new game.

You mean the main board? If so, it is a little strange, but I believe it was adapted from some map of the time period.

Great explanation and examples, but this game is not for me. But it still a great game. I'm not knocking it down.
Thanks. I think it is a fun and somewhat goofy game - knocking people with the plague off your cart and all. But I don't think this (or any) game is for everyone.
