Got my first PC about 3 years ago been upgrading it its a dell optiplex 990 upgrades are 500gb SSD, 500watt PSU, GTX 1060 PC came with a 300gb HDD, i7 2600, 8GBs of ram total cost was $320 pretty happy with my setup not really a gamer
I honestly didn't know what to expect, I went into this video thinking its like a normal 300K subscriber huge channel, I was wrong . You editing, voiceover(love your voice) and jokes really made this fun. New Sub !
For anyone who needs further clarification... A $10 GPU can be $5. A $10 GPU can also be $20. But a $10 GPU can NOT be $17. Failure to understand this may result in public shaming and/or exile from society.
I'd also add that older GPUs like this are very well suited to playing '90s and early 'Aughts series of games such as for example Unreal Tournament, Quake III Arena and so on. You can even turn the video quality settings way up! Good video on a poorly understood subject.
i have an older system with an athlon from right after bulldozer so 2012 cpu with an r7 240 gpu 2gb ddr3 passive cooler i think imma ziptie a fan to it and overclock the trash out of the gpu and i got the system for like 2 broken phones
You actually should be able to oc that card without upgrading the cooler, i did a max "oc" on my one, and it runs great, plus custom drivers might help performance too
Aside from facebook marketplace or kijiji. I cant find a cheep gpu without it doubleing or trippleing in price cause of shipping. Also as a fun note there is no tax or duty on imports under $20 (if in canada) And a sad note ebay charges hst even if your purchase wasn't supposed to have hst. So if the cost is within 13% and item cost not shipping is under $20 buy it foegin.
Interesting, your best chance is to find something 2nd hand in person or from a thrift store (which I doubt you will just find any sort of good PC parts lol) but I never knew that about Canada, at that rate you might have to pay $15 just for a simple GPU :/ But yeah, otherwise Facebook marketplace may be your best bet. Never heard of Kijiji, is it a Canadian marketplace site?
You screwed up the "$10" part and should of done the "10$" since that actually means what you said. A 10$ video card is a hard choice if you have a "good" iGPU or APU.
"Or maybe this is an older unit."

You may also not pass go, nor may you collect $200.
@@BudgetBin 😂Truth!
Some justice for these low entry video cards, showing what they can do. But best way is showing what they can play and what they can't.

I agree! Thanks for giving me a watch!
remember if you see a GPU in a flowerbed, or under a tree, do not disturb it as its probably sleeping and will be prone to attacking when provoked.
Great advice. Unfortunately, I had to find this out the hard way.
lmao gpu in natural scenery like every other British hardware channel lol
Ahh the GPU in its natural buety
But then flashes Canadian bills lol.
You know its true!!! Budget builds official and Random Gaming in HD, I am looking at you two!
randomgaminginHD does this a lot.

I still run an r7 240 in one of my machines... it's a surprisingly capable card... I play skyrim se and fallout 4 with it

Should u test it at Cyberpunk 2k with RT on? :p
You remind me of Micheal MJD
@@windowsvista3193 I've been told thay lol. They are a pretty cool techtuber.
Put it in your collection next to the CPUs and RAM.
