- Gyeon Leather Coat is a sealant that is used to protect leather and vinyl surfaces from dirt, grime, sweat, dye transfer, etc. It will also leave a hydrophobic layer to keep liquids from absorbing into the surface. It does offer some abrasion resistance as it will leave a slight slick feeling. It is also an excellent way to maintain a leather coating such as Gyeon Leather Shield. Claimed to last up to 3 months.

Guz, I did take your advice on the Colourlock for my Alcantara needs, great kit! I wanna use up my Gyeon Leather & Coat before I step up to the Colourlock leather kit though.

Why do you prefer leather shield to leather coat? Also, how long does 150ml of leather shield last you ie how many full car applications do you get out of it?
Leather Shield will give you the more durable protection than leather coat. Depending on the size you could apply to two vehicles.
Hey Mike, did you leave a review on DI concerning the Gyeon Interior Detailer? I bought it and regret it. Horrible. What’s all the HYPE about? Very grabby upon wipe off and dries out materials, IMO. Megs QID is much more lubricious, not as harsh and has UV protection.
I never bought the Gyeon Interior Detailer. It didn’t look that good from the moment it came out. I have a gallon of Meguiar’s QID and the bottle of CarPro InnerQD that I was sent to test. Once I’m done with CarPro im staying with Meguiar’s QID. Adams Interior Detailer is pretty good as well.
This or Gtechniq LeatherGuard?
I have never used GTechniq leather guard. I know Gyeon updated their formula recently.

Are you referring to the Gyeon Leather Shield Coating? Or asking if a second layer of Leather Coat is beneficial?

@@2502860 @george a a second layer would not hurt on heavy used areas like the driver seat.
