Enjoyed the video Tim, thanks, just bought 909's for my 48 so was good to hear them on your Iron 1200. Enjoyed the tour too! Incidentally I'm near Ascot UK... similar just not so much sun!!! 😎🤠
Nice vid Tim. Looking at these for my 72 but in the chrome version. They're the only aftermarket pipes left with the crossover pipe. Gone are the V&H Double Barrels. Gone are the S&S Powertunes. I like the look of a 2:2 but with the crossover you get a similar effect to a 2:1, best of both worlds. Try flipping your mirrors under the bars to see if you like the retro look. Hey from Qld. 👍🏻
Thanks for watching mate. They are a great pipe and sound awesome. I no longer have this bike I've now got a Street Bob 114, it's like a sporty on steroids. Stay safe 👍🇦🇺
Hey mate, the oil's good was only changed 2000kms ago by the dealer? Still have 4500 before the next one's due, could be the oil the dealer put in it. Thanks for watching mate appreciate it 👍🇦🇺
@@timfinning I guess it’s just that evo chatter. I find that mine is way less chattery the first 1000 miles after a fresh oil change. After that thousand it starts to chatter a lot more.

Hello sir, if you're interested in a 2-1 pipe, I had on my 883 the Cobra El diablo pipe, It was very nice, good ground clearance and great power gain. But it was very loud. Currently have the speedster, I like the sound. But if I were to get a 2-1 pipe, I would give a try to the Bassani Roadrage 3 or the Vance and hines upsweep inox. Cheers and ride safe.
Hey mate thanks for watching appreciate it very much, I love the speedsters as a two into two they have a great sound. I do like the bossani pipes too but cannot justify the cost. stay safe 👍🇦🇺
Yes mate the bike was tuned with the FP3 tuner i then ran the autotune option, it had a few issues and then was tweaked by Vance and Hines and it then ran mint with no issues.
Hello John, sorry for the late reply. They are the standard baffles that came with them. The filter is K and N with the screaming eagle cover. Stay safe mate 👍🇦🇺
Hello Ilias, yes I am happy with the sissy Bar, it's only for show as I don't have rear passenger pegs but it looks good. Thanks for watching appreciate it 👍
Hey Johnny, mate the seat is a Harley seat it's called the Badlander it should fit all sporties the sissy Bar is off Amazon I forget what it is exactly but it was advertised to fit 48's was a bit fiddly to fit but once on it looks good. Please feel free to subscribe to my channel as I will be bringing more content out on both my bike's and test rides on others too. Stay safe 👍🇦🇺
Hey Jay, yes I did once I had the tuner set up correctly. I have the Vance and Hines fuel pack 3 and did a auto tune and then it made a noticeable difference. I still think a two into one would have been better. Thanks for watching my video.
Def go 2 into 1, I just won a fatbob w these on it at an auction. When I got it home yesterday I started it. They are really quiet w the baffles in. I was shocked how quiet they are. I'm talking damn near stock levels quiet. Spend the extra for a 2 to 1 you won't be sorry. I'm certainly glad I didn't purchase these crappy pipes. My sportster with rush slip ons was much louder and sounded much better.
Hey mate, the seat is a genuine Harley Davidson it's called Badlander and it's comfortable too. The sissy bar I found on Amazon for around $78 Australian. Thanks for watching appreciate it 👍🇦🇺
Hello Joseph, I can't actually remember the name of it but I got it off Amazon. I just searched for Harley Davidson sportster sissy bar and a few came up. it was pictured on a 48
Solid review, I appreciate you taking the time to post this.
Thanks TJ
Bike sounds great, I pulled the trigger on a Harley, your vids def given me ideas. I went with a street bob, has that same timeless look.

@@timfinning nice man. Sporty is my daily. Have a Softail for weekend cruising. Though pipes for the Sporty are more expensive. Go figure. 😊
Sound like she’s about ready for an oil change! Great video dude!

Yes they look ok and sound deeper than the other ones. Might see about getting some!
Worth every penny you won't be disappointed with them 👍
You're referring to a balance pipe, otherwise known as an X or H pipe depending on design. It helps scavenging of exhaust pulses.
I should be ordering mine in January,if all goes well. Once i get them,a install video will follow shortly after
You won't be disappointed, they are a great exhaust. Look forward to the install. 👍🇦🇺

Hey Loz you should try the street Bob 114 handles like the sportster goes like the fxdr old school feel with a modern touch.👍
@@timfinning Thanks Mate 😊

The 909’a actually has a crossover between the two pipes acting like a 2:1
Hey there, did you tune your bike at all? Which tuner and map did you use 😊

Hi Tim, What type of baffles are fitted to the Cobras, standard or quiet? Is that a screaming eagle air cleaner? Great video, thanks for sharing.
Hello John, sorry for the late reply. They are the standard baffles that came with them. The filter is K and N with the screaming eagle cover. Stay safe mate 👍🇦🇺
I have the same bike and it's pretty good 😊.I m looking for a sissy bar.Are you satisfied with yours ?

I'm looking for a new set of pipes, but don't want to go heavier than stock, do you know the weight on these pipes?
Hello David, mate I don't know the exact weight but I can confidently say they are at least half the weight of stock.👍
nice video lods new friend here
Thanks for watching Bobby, appreciate it very much.b👍🇦🇺
Is that the badlander seat? How do you like it?
Yes it's the badlander seat and yes really like it. Surprisingly comfortable. Definitely recommend it.

Thanks mate it was a great bike, thanks for watching 👍
Did you feel any kind of performance increase? I’m debating on these or 2into1 stainless upswept

Hey mate, the seat is a genuine Harley Davidson it's called Badlander and it's comfortable too. The sissy bar I found on Amazon for around $78 Australian. Thanks for watching appreciate it 👍🇦🇺
@@timfinning awesome! Thank you!!!
Where did you get your Forward controls?
Genuine Harley Davidson. Not cheap they were like $900 fitted but well made and solid. 👍
Someone for the love of bikes tell me what that sissy bar is because I NEED it
Hello Joseph, I can't actually remember the name of it but I got it off Amazon. I just searched for Harley Davidson sportster sissy bar and a few came up. it was pictured on a 48
You shouldn’t let your bike idle while it’s leaned over on the stand. Doesn’t oil the whole engine.
Thanks for watching and for your feedback Josh stay safe 👍🇦🇺
What a bullshit.
