I can't imagine a shop without a press: this is a work of art, so much better than the china version we get in USA. The feet, the crank, the rail movable mount for ram and plate, the build quality/frame, even the paint, every aspect is an upgrade from mine..

I am an old man and have been doing this kind of work for a good long time now. Your skills are very impressive as is the manner in which you attack a rebuild of these very complicated, precise machines.
I really like the bushings for the MT mounts on your splash guard. Clever, elegant, and usually overlooked. Excellent work, I really enjoy your videos and I'm glad you've finally started narrating.
You know allot of people mentioned you for a precision surface grinder machine vice that Mr lipton is giving away to someone who is passionate about the trade. My hope is that you get the vice. As I really feel you deserve it. Best of luck.
Oh man. I've just seen that. Watched his videos just right after posting but rarely comment. He has been one of my "teachers" on this trade also the reason im intersted in it. Its a lie if i say i dont want that beautiful vise but im sure he will fine the right person. Thank you guys alot, im very very appreciate your love.
The work and quality you put into your machines and builds really puts your videos on another level. Every second is a joy to watch. Your subscribers are so lucky to have you.
Your press is a much better design and superior quality than anything I have commercially available in the USA market. You are a very talented machinist. Great job!
Exceptional designer/engineer/machinist/fabricator at work. But your mechanism design skills are peerless, always such a suspenseful pleasure to watch it all come together.
This was a fantastic video and build. Really like your added features, the R/L cable system, the handle feature on the support pins and the roller feature of the head assembly. Great job. Thanks for sharing.
Another show of craftsmanship. You never fail to amaze me with your work. I wish I had a son just like you, and I wish to wish I was that talent in order to facilitate my work. I would be proud of this son every day.
I have a twenty-ton press in my shop that my father fabricated using pieces of truck frame and a bottle jack. It is, by most measures, a very good press and I get good use out of it. Cà Lem's is an order of magnitude nicer than the one my father built. Very nice work. I learn a lot about machine design and fabrication here...
Nice project, you even improve the design by having the cylinder movable from left to right on rollers bearrings. That way the main cylinder does always stay in the middle. Great job.
It’s a real pleasure to watch your work, as good as it is, always getting better. Watching the young guns like yourself or Kurtis (Cutting Edge Engineering) who not only have the skill but also the confidence in your methods... giving the old guard a reason to look over their shoulder. Bravo.
I'm in the process of building a 90 ton hydraulic press.. mine is going to be cool.. but yours is way cooler IMO. you win lots of style points. amazing work never stop!!
Outstanding design. I love your little touches of bearings for sliding the cylinder, the pawl for the crank fit like a glove. The rotary table work on that was awesome. Having the long travel of the ram saves on adjustment time too.
Great video mate! Just thought I would mention that I use aquarium or pond pumps as coolant pumps on my machines that done have them. Very cheap and work very well.
Always a good evening when there is a new video from you mate wow that is a beast well built the engineering is amazing thanks for sharing precision fits and all stay safe all the best god bless
I’ve only just found your channel, and its just awesome. Your skill, care, designs and equipment are a joy to watch. Also your camera shots a perfect too. Bravo. Thank you for making them.
That was really nice. I was wondering what you were up to! Most of the time it's "making a tool that makes other tools", but I'm always excited to learn what it is... and what you're going to do with it. Many thanks.
I thought that was always going to be a problem now after that happened. I hope I'm wrong and it gets better. He made a vid about it. Maybe he'll make a comment one way or the other for us/me.
I'm always exited to see a new post from you, and you have never disappointed. Your creativity and skills are amazing! I also very much like how you present your content, especially how you mix fast forward and real time footage.
Bravo! Così si lavora in officina! Si vede che hai non solo passione,ma anche amore per la meccanica. Lavori preciso e pulito. Ce ne fossero di ragazzi giovani come te,che rendono onore alla meccanica.. continua cosi!
Your eye? Oow… I hope you are well when you read this. I very much enjoyed watching, thank you for posting this excellent vid. Compliments for design and execution, both for the press and the filming!
Ca Lem, again Sir you pulled a rabbit out of your hat. I really like the design of your press and the build was fun to watch as all the parts came together. Thanks for sharing the build with us. Always a pleasure to watch your builds. Stay Safe & Cheers!
That is a better quality press than we can readily buy here, you did a great job on it! Sorry to hear that your eye is giving you problems, as you say in your pinned comment. I'm hoping you can get it looked at sooner rather than later and that you can get back to your regular life.
Ca Lem, another sweet vid. That press has some nice features. Very neat the easy positioning of the ram, and what a travel on that ram! That does have potential problems that a shorter ram doesn't but hell, when you need it, it's there!! Well done.

All the best,
CàLem.
I wish to be well soon
You deserve to let us followed.

Best wishes..I hope one one day you come to the USA or some other place to visit the eye doctor..before its too late..
Your the man brother with mad skills I hope your eye gets better take care of yourself. The world still needs you!
The day just got a little better.

The fitment between the ratchet and pawl shows some amazing attention to detail. Even more impressive than usual, and that's saying a lot.
I really like this design! Great job.
Thanks Jer 😉
Lovely approach with engineering! There is no overcomplication as well as no oversimplification..

No one is more passionate!

When you ran away from the milling machine you gave a whole new meaning to term remote machining.
Wow utilitarian design but looks amazing and the design features truly made your self a valuable tool.
The sliding ram is genius! Never seen that before.👍
Sliding rams are not uncommon, but are seldom seen on smaller or cheaper presses. They require a more precise build, which Ca Lem excels at!
DaVinci award for pure inventiveness, not to mention skilled fabrication. Cheers!
It is so enjoyable watching you work and the things you create, modify, restore, rebuild. Always look forward your videos.
That sliding ram! Yes! Hey Tom, if you’re watching, this is where you send that vice.
Nice, this guy have too much skills to do what he want .. I like him.
The work and quality you put into your machines and builds really puts your videos on another level. Every second is a joy to watch. Your subscribers are so lucky to have you.
The nicest reinterpretation of parting squeal I've ever heard or seen. Ill close my eyes and imagine the ocean next time I hear some 😉
That sliding head is very cool. Makes the press much more versatile.
I had never seen a hydraulic press moving from both sides. You did an amazing job, every detail is perfect. Great Calem
That lateral movement blew up my mind! its Genius!
Your press is a much better design and superior quality than anything I have commercially available in the USA market. You are a very talented machinist. Great job!
Thank you so much for putting the guard back on the grinder. I always cringe when it’s used without.
Love your work!!!
Exceptional designer/engineer/machinist/fabricator at work. But your mechanism design skills are peerless, always such a suspenseful pleasure to watch it all come together.
By far the most accurate , precise , most thought out press ever built. Another fantastic job 👍🏼👍🏼
Probably the most well build shop press on youtube! What a build!
looking good ! really like the movable piston, missing on mine for that once-a-year weird piece that won´t fit otherwise
Very nice build. Getting the hydraulic pump and cylinder for less than a fortune can be a trick.
You simply could not buy something of this quality, Superb job.
I'm watching this literally clapping at the screen when you make another awesome feature. Simply brilliant work.
Quite impressed that someone could reinvent the hydraulic press...! Great job
Also, just out of curiosity, what do you do for a living ?
I'm honestly impressed by the design details you put into this.
It’s like a piece of art I’m just a knobody but u definitely need more recongnition for the work that you do keep up the good work
Loved the sea gull sounds! Too funny.
I'm always impressed by your work! I love how the the hydraulic ram is able to move and not just fixed in the center of the press. Very slick design!
A good long stroke cylinder ,most commercial presses don't have the travel for keyway broaching .nice job!
Nice project, you even improve the design by having the cylinder movable from left to right on rollers bearrings. That way the main cylinder does always stay in the middle. Great job.
Also, the things you've been able to build are excellent. Skill and ingenuity.
It’s a real pleasure to watch your work, as good as it is, always getting better. Watching the young guns like yourself or Kurtis (Cutting Edge Engineering) who not only have the skill but also the confidence in your methods... giving the old guard a reason to look over their shoulder. Bravo.
I'm in the process of building a 90 ton hydraulic press.. mine is going to be cool.. but yours is way cooler IMO. you win lots of style points. amazing work never stop!!
you are a top-notch engineer, a gifted artist, and an *amazing* machinist. lol, that's may be the nicest small press in the world.
Once again brilliant engineering and execution of same - ever so envious of your skill...
Wonderful workmanship. The attention to detail is a joy to see.
Outstanding design.
I love your little touches of bearings for sliding the cylinder, the pawl for the crank fit like a glove.
The rotary table work on that was awesome.
Having the long travel of the ram saves on adjustment time too.
The only excuse for using a mill's spindle to press something, is building a press! :)
Great work Calem!!
Great video mate!
Just thought I would mention that I use aquarium or pond pumps as coolant pumps on my machines that done have them. Very cheap and work very well.
Better than a bought one, in just about every way! I'm going to have to remember that seagull fix for next time I'm parting off.😄👍🇭🇲
Lol. We all hate seagull.
Thank you for sharing your time and talents Ca Lem. You have my prayers for your health!
This is simply the best manufacture I have ever seen! With deepest respect, greetings to you from Poland
Wow. Excellent build as always!! Your new shop layout looks really good. That lathe splash guard is really cool and practical.
Son!!!!! That thing is sick!! It really shows through your attention to detail how much you truly enjoy metalworking.
Very nice design
I love the fact that you used the hydraulics to lift the top plate up for assembly
Just recently discovered this channel, absolutely outstanding.
What a super nice job, I would be proud to have one like it, just wonderful, and so creative.
What a masterpiece.
I figured you were going for the simple hydraulic jack, but you have blown my mind.
Beautiful work, beautiful shots, beautiful lighting... thanks for another great vid. If I ever make it across the big pond, I'll be looking you up.
Awesome work! You're fabricating skills are cleary maxed out!
I wish I had a dollar for every time I said wow while watching one of your videos! You do some amazing work!
Simply brilliant!!!! What a joy,to witness greatness...
Amazing!🙌
The nicest built long throw 20 ton press I've seen yet . :)
this young guy is special in all the best ways. An inspiration indeed!
Something this beautiful and battleship gray needs some crimson and gold pinstripes!
very good job ca lem..thanks for your time
Thank you for your time too.😉
I wish I could follow you like a puppy and learn everything you do.. amazing work.
Always a good evening when there is a new video from you mate wow that is a beast well built the engineering is amazing thanks for sharing precision fits and all stay safe all the best god bless

Thank you Matty 😘
You just put the expectation level a step higher!
Awesome build as always!
Thank you Cà Lem for this beautiful content.
Your look of satisfaction at 17:13 is so relatable. Amazing job!
I love how precise everything you build is; it's always a pleasure to watch you build something! Kick ass build man 👌
I’ve only just found your channel, and its just awesome. Your skill, care, designs and equipment are a joy to watch. Also your camera shots a perfect too. Bravo. Thank you for making them.

I thought that was always going to be a problem now after that happened. I hope I'm wrong and it gets better. He made a vid about it. Maybe he'll make a comment one way or the other for us/me.
Thank you guys. Im taking some pill. Its fine.
This is the highest precision press I have seen. Well done!
Excellent craftsmanship! I just started building a press of my own, but it won't compare to yours. Great job.
Great design feature to include bearings on the gantry for easy movement!!!
I'm always exited to see a new post from you, and you have never disappointed. Your creativity and skills are amazing! I also very much like how you present your content, especially how you mix fast forward and real time footage.
Very cool. Make sure to relax the cables after the pins are installed, the load will go through the cables first and stretch them out.
Bravo! Così si lavora in officina!

Lavori preciso e pulito.
Ce ne fossero di ragazzi giovani come te,che rendono onore alla meccanica.. continua cosi!
As usual, you’re an artist in all you do.
Your craftsman ship is amazing! Did you have a mentor of some kind or did you learn in a trial and error kind of way?
Your eye? Oow… I hope you are well when you read this. I very much enjoyed watching, thank you for posting this excellent vid. Compliments for design and execution, both for the press and the filming!
The bearings on top for moving the cylinder is smart.
What a great press. Love that long ram.
Another high quality build.
Ca Lem, again Sir you pulled a rabbit out of your hat. I really like the design of your press and the build was fun to watch as all the parts came together. Thanks for sharing the build with us. Always a pleasure to watch your builds. Stay Safe & Cheers!
Damn that sliding head is so cool, awesome build man!
Brilliant design and excellent fabrication. Well done, sir.
Love the process, love the details. Thanks Cà Lem for share about this masterpiece..
That is a better quality press than we can readily buy here, you did a great job on it! Sorry to hear that your eye is giving you problems, as you say in your pinned comment. I'm hoping you can get it looked at sooner rather than later and that you can get back to your regular life.
Bit more talking about the design and construction techniques please, we really enjoy your narration.
Wow it looks much better than anything that can be bought. and the quality is sure also much higher.
Как обычно просто супер! Все ровно, идеальная подгонка запчастей! Лучше чем на заводе!
I was wanting a watermelon smashed. I thik it could be possible in thet next video. Btw, great job, congratulations. Many thanks.
Cool press. Well done, turner!
the sliding ram is SLICK. nice threads on the cylinder bracket too!!!
Ca Lem, another sweet vid.
That press has some nice features.
Very neat the easy positioning of the ram, and what a travel on that ram! That does have potential problems that a shorter ram doesn't but hell, when you need it, it's there!!
Well done.
Great build! Possibe upgrade could be to machine grooves for the metal wire in the cranking axle to guide the metal wire.
Fantastic build, and excellent workmanship and video editing. Hope that your eye gets better.
Thanks mate. Your videos are awesome btw.
@ Thanks. I like the way you do whole projects in a video. If I did that, I'd only get one video per year done :(
You are much more productive.
