Thank you sir. I try to not overdue the videos with this effect so I can keep them special. I can always count on you popping in here when I put one up though and I really appreciate that!
What a beautiful place to call home. I live in Mission BC and Newfoundland is on my list of places I would like to visit. You do a great job showing off your home with your videos. Thank you.
Awesome video! I really enjoyed this one. It would be a great channel intro video. I love the drone shots that look miniature. Very cool. I've lived here my whole life and have been lucky enough to have visited most towns on the island but I've not been to Labrador yet.... I would love to get some videos up there also........Take care, Bluefin.
That wasn't the original intention but you're right, this might be a great channel intro video. Thanks for the idea! I'm gonna set that up over in my channel homepage. As long as everything goes as planned, I have Labrador in my sights for the spring 🤞
Never , ever stop being proud of your province and the style of your videos because I find them to be throughly enjoyable, educational. Ps two things 1) LOVE, LOVE the style of this video… it’s so visually stunning 2) Holy crap your wife flipping the bird is hilarious
I agree 100% with you. Some time when people ask me where I live and I start to talk about Newfoundland, some people look at me like I'm weird to live in a place where it's 99% of the time windy and we have lots of rain and our summer are not very hot and blablabla....... But no one will make me move away from Newfoundland. Especially because of the people who are so welcoming and so curious about everybody and when to talk about everything. Great video Mark Pat
Another nice video. There are just so many places to see here, and every one you've shown me has been beautiful. I also enjoy the interactions with your commenters. You welcome positive and negative reactions (done respectfully, of course), and you seem genuinely glad to learn something new from a commenter if the information you've provided isn't complete or up to date ... not that that happens often! 😉😊 I love the interest you demonstrate and the love you obviously have for this place!
You have been coming around the comment section for a very long time now. Isn’t it cool to see how things are growing here? It is kinda taking its time but it’s very satisfying. Making these videos is a lot of fun for me but I’m starting to have even more fun with the little conversations that pop up. I’m enjoying all of this, and it seems to me like maybe you are too 😊
Mark You show your island like a professional👏 Each video showed me some places to visit, some things to do. Shots with drone are fabulous. Thanks for your time, thanks to help us to discover this part of our big country. I look forward to be there next May 📸 to visit East part of Newfoundland 👋. Nothing is better than life near from the ocean 🌊
Mark, I think this is my favorite video you've put out yet! I giggled with your intro, and felt your passion and love for this province, one that I share with you. I love how you keep it real in this video and remain true to you. Awesome job! Do not change who you are and do not change your videos format!
Thanks buddy. I wasn't even sure if I was gonna put this one up but I'm glad I did. Very nice feedback so far. I have a couple more videos to finish off over the next couple of weeks and then it's on to our conversation. I'll let you know when I get started on that... I hope all is well with you!
@@discoveringnlwithkevinthat’s exciting and nerve racking! It’s a big move for sure! Mom is doing everything she needs to do and she feels like it’s starting to help. Long road ahead so we’ll all keep doing what needs to be done. Thanks for asking.
I'm oddly a little obsessed with Newfoundland. I'll never get there - so thank you for your passion & love for that amazing place. Although, I could never live there because of the weather. But - outside of the weather, it's seems like paradise. I also live in paradise (but have better weather). I'm absolutely in love with Washington and it's the 11th U.S. state I've lived in and the best by far.
Mark! I look forward to watching every one of your videos, you're absolutely killing it man! Not only are you a huge part of the culture, you ARE the culture!
Amazing content! Newfoundland is HUGE! So much to cover. I can't wait until you make a video or two about abandoned ghost towns. That is going to blow up. So many people search for "abandoned". This video was great. I watch a few UA-camrs from other countries that do videos very similar to these. I am happy for you, my friend. Happy that you are going to keep making videos. -Bruce
As always Mark my friend I enjoyed this video as you scanned bits and pieces of videos of different towns for me it was like a guessing game as I tried to recognize the location. You are no doubt a proud Newfoundlander and you're helping to put Newfoundland on the map. Keep up the great work my friend and I hope your Mom is doing well.
Hey Mark another great video with stunning views of beautiful Newfoundland. I mentioned it one other time, curious how the Newfoundland people truly feel about "outsiders" from another Province choosing to move to Newfoundland? We are really considering Newfoundland as our retirement destination. Maybe a quick video with some locals sharing honest opinions??
This is an important topic that I really should cover. Someone else who made the move (and I should mention, is happy in Newfoundland) suggested the same thing just a few days ago. Most people will be welcoming but there will always be people who will always look at you as an outsider. I think I should really plan this one out. It could really be an interesting topic to tackle but it can’t be a quick project. Thanks!
Is it my phone or Mark what’s wrong with this video? It’s a lovely looking video but I can’t watch it. It breaks up about every few seconds or every second almost
Not that you've asked for input from anyone except Mark, but I just wanted you (and Mark) to know that I'm not having any issues with viewing this video. And yes, it is a lovely one! 😊 Hope you get the problem resolved.
It’s not your video. I’m texting several other videos and they’re all the same so it must be my phone or something with Rogers. Sorry for that. Even sorry I can’t watch your video right now.
@@mark_royle_newfoundland oh man! I plan on coming back to the island with my pup next year, but I’ll probably stick to west coast and check out the northern peninsula.
