Larry Csonka the Best there is, the Best there was, the Best there ever will be in my mind. The only reason this boy from N.Y. Became a 50 year life long Dolphin fan. Thanks for the memories Zonk #39.
Hearing these guys giving thanks to people, it slips our mind that QBs used to call their own games and when he stopped and thanked Morrall, it was a way to name the guy who made 1972 possible but also who called his number time and again when Greise may have wanted to do something else and Shula may have guided Greise another way than he would have guided Morrall.
Thank you Larry for the many memories that you gave us as Dolphins fans.. I became a Dolphins fan in 72 when a fellow Air Force friend and I were in the hospital together in Alaska and he got me interested in the Dolphins.. I guess it helped being from Florida so it just made sense.. The first Dolphins game that I saw was the 5th game in which Greise got his leg broken.. I thought the season was over, but thanks to Earl Morrell and a great team around him, they never missed a beat.. Thanks again Larry and may God richly bless you and your family... Take care my friend...
Great player and better man. God Bless
Larry many thanks....they don't make many men like u these days....u are a true gentleman
I love Dan Marino but Larry Csonka will always be my favorite Dolphin player.

He was the man for sure!
The best!
He was "Beast Mode" before it was coined in a newer generation. And of course Larry Brown....
