This was interesting. I always blanch my potatoes. I would do each batch that was weighed out but then ya might want to put it in a strainer and blot the batch with a clean paper towel. I Also flash freeze each batch by spreading them out onto the cookie sheet and allow them to freezer for like 2 hours before bagging them and removing the air with my vac sealer. I have been known to peel my potatoes and keep them stored in cold water with a lid in my fridge until I am ready to slice or shred them.
That's a good idea!
Love hash browns!
They are so delicious!
Great video! I like my hash browns...with a fork...or not!!😋
Same here!
To get rid of excess moisture in the shredded potatoes you could put them in a salad spinner.
Oooh! That's a great idea! Thank you so much, we'll have to try it!
Thanks for the video. I have the same shredder attachment as listed on the link but yours look different on the video. Is the white top a whole separate attachment?
Ours is just the older version
you don't put anything or water to keep the potato from turning brown?
MY FAV FOOD (bring back the HAT)
When you put potatoes in shredder was they cooked or uncooked?😅
They are not cooked before shredding. We washed them, and you can skin them if you prefer.
@@FromtheRootsUpthanks for responding I have been going through all your videos. Thanks so much for the details
