Great video brother. I ran a freezer for 8 days when we got hit by Matthew. I only ran a gen on it 6 times for about 6 hrs. Total. 1 hour each time. As long as you aren't standing there for 5 to 10 minutes with the door open, you are good to go. Once again great video brother
Thanks, boss. Also thanks for the knowledge born of experience you posted!
Do you have a link for that Bioenno battery?
What is the external battery info & specs? Want to get one! Your videos are the best. Simple. ....practical and useful. Thanks and keep them coming. Por favor! 😉
Look up BioEno. They will help you. Tell them Tyler sent you!
When the power goes out I’m going to make do without it. When the power goes out long term you have much bigger problems than the food in your fridge or freezer. Sure if it’s a day or two because of a storm or some other thing but if it’s longer than that you better have a bunch of other food that doesn’t require refrigeration and a way to bring it with you if you have to get out of there. Your fridge and freezer stuff is going to get left behind after a few days because it’s going to be a sh!t show of chaos.
Whoah wait . . A week check yourself unless you have a micro fridge.
I think he said a freezer. I can see that. I ran a freezer for 8 days. With a gas gen. Only running it 6 times about an hour each time. Your freezer is like the badest cooler you have. Lol . I think he ment freezer and not fridge at the end of the video.
@@elevatorman7750 all I can say is that's not my experience with my solar. I also plug in an leave them that way. Starting out frozen or plug unplugging is not a real life test to me. I have multiple solar systems and make portable emp proof power system here at Camp Freedom.
@offgridamy7176 I completely agree. All my stuff was frozen from the start. I would have had to run my gen constantly if everything was thawed. Maybe I didn't hear him correctly. I thought he was talking about an emergency situation. After hurrican mathew my family and practice no electricity at all. Because if the grid goes down for good, no matter how many solar panels you have, you will eventually live like my great grandfather did. No electricity.
@@elevatorman7750 once upon a time I put solar in my cabin. Haha constant revisions and upgrades since. I think it's good now haha
@@offgridamy717 Do you have a we sight. I would love to check it out.
