I must say that was a very insightful video! As a 33 year old who grew up in the Crenshaw district of Los Angeles, this video was really reminiscent of those times. A time where being a black skater in the hood wasn't seen as the norm, or when NERD, Kick push by fiasco and Kareem Campbell influenced more black man to get into skateboarding, which played a big role in the assembling of Odd future!
You could. You just have to be dedicated enough to pursue it even when it seems like it isn’t going anywhere and just be unique, yourself really. Not easy but possible for sure.
this might be the best written essay video about an artist that I've ever seen so far. the way you incorporate tylers growth and lining it up with yours and your friends growth, making this vid relatable af. pacing wise, making one hour yt vid enjoyable to watch, with a really inspiring ending too.
Love this video! Crazy how Tyler went from a kid obsessed with music to eventually becoming extremely famous and making amazing music he’s really talented
Bro this video has deadass kinda saved me, i really lost myself these past few months until i clicked on this video and was reminded of how much of an inspiration Tyler was to me before just in everything he stands for so thank you for that. Well done on the video, especially loved the interview parts with tyler fans, really nice to hear their different perspectives on him and what he’s done of them
It's a little off-putting to hear how cocky he can be sometimes, but when you hear the music you kind of understand why. When Kanye brags it sounds like he's trying to convince _you_ how great he is. He' seems pretty insecure about it. But when Tyler brags you can tell he just absolutely believes it. It's kind of a shame he felt the need to shape his career just to answer the critics, but it still turned out pretty well. I appreciate that he's a big inspiration for you and I think you did a great job in showing his career so far.
Yea i think that’s also such a testament to his artistic ability.. for him to shift a little bit to what critics/mainstream wanted and still find a way to sound completely unique authentic is legitimately a skill that many artist don’t have
kanye is insecure abt a lot of things but i don't think his greatness is one of them he's well aware that his name is cemented in the history books and u can hear that in past interviews like with tyler
@CheapRobot While well said regarding Tyler The Creator I’m gonna have to say a strong disagree on Ye. Yes he has a lot of insecurities and a lot of issues in general especially now. When he says he’s great he 100% believes it.
I think he balances his pride well with his shame. He’s not scared to hate on his own stuff. So it really just comes across as someone who isn’t scared to just speak his mind on his wins and losses. I mean, getting to the point in his career where he is, that’s a huge deal for someone who can take a step back and be genuinely awe-struck at where their life has taken them. He embraces it. All of it. The highs and the lows without becoming too wrapped up in either of those dichotomies.
ima just say right now that videos like this is why i still find hope in creativity and storytelling on UA-cam. Ive seen your videos in the past but this one happened to catch my eye and i was a little skeptical of the hour run time at first but i loved every bit of this. The way you told Tyler's story with bits, interviews, and references feel cohesive to the story especially with your personal touch and it was all amazing. The humor, the dedication, editing and overall expression is top tier and i hope this video gets the credit it deserves and if not... keep pushing your only going to keep learning and growing, your storytelling is something special bro.
I’m so happy you decided to click despite the time length and enjoyed it! I definitely took a different approach to telling this story mainly by shutting up and letting the story tell itself rather than me regurgitating information and i tok some inspiration from christopher nolan in the way that he tells stories with a non-linear timeline! I haven’t gotten anywhere close to where i wanna be as a storyteller but i think this video was definitely a step in the right direction! Thanks again for watching and leaving such a detailed comment 🙏🏾🪐
This was not only absolutely poetic but beautifully put together, you can see the amount of care and effort that was put into this. I feel like I was watching something that was created by a whole cast of people, a team; Tyler’s always been an artist that I loved, and to see someone who took the time to show how special this artist is and how influential his music was not only to himself but to the people around him speaks volumes to me. For me its been hard to find content thats not only spectacular, but also relatable and yet somehow you bridged that gap. I cannot show enough gratification in one post but just know I’m gonna keep coming back to this video

Tylers comment on turning 25 and the realization he had about his artistry is something that hits everyone at different times I've realized. I have talented friends in music/film that have titer tottered around that line of maturity for years. It's great to see all the homies maturing their sound and image. Bro this is perfect. I love how you ended this with Sorry Not Sorry, a song reflecting on his music evolving through the years with him as a person. I also feel like this was so artistically made that it compliments the art of tyler’s production and songs well. I was invested fully and you dont get that a lot with other youtube videos. Thank you for giving a video to appreciate with genuine longevity. You have amazing things coming your way man fr💯
thank you! Tyler has inspired me so much as an artist so i think that’s why making a documentary about him compliments his art style as well.. there would be no Spacial if there wasn’t a Tyler, The Creator fr
I've grown up with Tyler since his first album. All the days of me and my friends runnin around havin fun making music just for ourselves, OF was the soundtrack to that whole part of my life. Tylers art means a lot to me and this video really was a work of art itself. Thanks for making this man
A cinematic masterpiece. The way you start the video off with a series of perfect videos that encapsulate who Tyler is as a person was the ideal primer for the audience. The story telling was masterful. The real, personal accounts from random individuals and their perspective of Tyler was so introspective and raw. You had my attention the whole time -- all 1 hour and 18 minutes you had my entire focus, nothing else mattered but this story. Amazing work.
Hey man this is one of the few 1 hour long videos I've played start to finish in one sitting , I wanted to let u know that the amount of work u put into this is really showing, the passion and the attention to details made me love Tyler even more ,love these kind of videos hope u keep it up and I'm here to see u succeed doing your thing. Much love my guy
Keep going and youll blow up, believe in it!! youve got the best hip hop analysis videos on youtube. The way you pick up on everything and decode the lyrics is amazing to watch.
This video was beyond inspirational. To see the beauty that Tyler’s mind has created and shared with us. To see the work you put into dissecting his career and putting it in a timeline showing us how much he’s changed. It’s all great. Amazing video, props to your beautiful mind. Never stop sharing
@@RealSpacial I love too many artists I could give you the longest list. Here are my top ones right now tho! Faye Webster, Matt Maltese, Kali Uchis. Not sure if they would make for a great video like this one lol.
just found you through this video and will definitely be checking our your other stuff, love your style of editing and incorporation of interviews in this. Tyler's one of my favorite people making music rn and his slow rise and pervading unique style while still defying genres has been a real inspiration to me and this puts it all together perfectly.
Thank you so so much for this video. You didn't miss anything and did Tyler justice in every remark. I first joined the Tyler train in the 7th grade when one of my friends posted the start of IFHY to his ig spam and i had never seen anything like it. The set design, the idea, the delivery, all while being phenomenal music. I couldn't really get behind some of his early work but I never hated it. Cherry bomb was def a blur because no one talked ab it so I thought he had his moment and kind of didn't think much of him anymore as I was in high school now and barely anyone acknowledged they listened to him. Fast forward to flower boy, and let me tell you that album was the foundation of my high school experience, my music taste shifted, I felt like I was maturing with tyler even though I'm much younger than tyler (21 now), I was still growing nonetheless. Everything after that from Tyler was just a treat really, you made me cry with the ending of sorry not sorry because I probably listened to the song more than any other song in 2021 because its the typical gold production tyler makes while narratively being a nice "wrap up of reflection" over everything. Since I was still getting used to college at the time the song made me feel confident into coming into my own and enjoying my new environment. Once again 10/10 and as one editor to another, I hope this vid gets you places
i've always really enjoyed your videos, and Tyler has always been a big influence for me as far as creativity as a whole, so seeing the two combined genuinely made me feel inspired and touched to a entirely new level, especially with the relatability of your "november" and sorry not sorry coming together at the end, simply amazing all around bro
I rarely write comments but I love this video. When Eric Andre clip came on I burst out laughing. Editing is great but your insight and interviews is so much more. Asking people what their november is, was so beautiful. And the end scene was nothing less than perfect. Also shout out to The Midnight Gospel poster, shit is hard. Thank you for making this.
This is such a beautiful video man. You really captured the beginning, how it was growing up when OF was at its prime to tyler maturing through the years. This was an incredible video. ❤
off topic from the video, but I never listened to frank ocean and only started listening to tyler a year after flower boy, I thought frank was gonna be some regular rapper or artist but seeing this video with the frank snippet inspired me to listen to blond, thank you man. now I gotta listen to old tyler and channel orange, diving into a bit of steve lacy too.
@@RealSpacial IGOR no doubt. the beautiful soundscape, emotional lyrics, and the maturity on display makes it an amazing listen with great highlights (:
That thing you said at the end about ur november and being the weird kid rly resonates w me that's personal and I felt that we all kinda weird like that but the real ones dont hide it they embrace it and make cool shit like this
This video was amazing, I feel like the way you captured every phase that Tyler went through to get him where he is today was literally perfect. Also, as a new fan of Tyler I feel like I was able to understand him so much better!!!!!!!
This is the first video I’ve seen from this channel, but it’s about Tyler The Creator and has a poster of The Midnight Gospel in it which are 2 things I love sm
Been rocking with Tyler since Bastard. To see his growth is amazing. To see him in person!! It’s an amazing experience. This is a beautiful video! Thank you!
Great video, loved the interspliced interviews. They added a lot of down to earth context the help balance your passion that was channeled through formal text.
Video done so well, the only thing I can complain (and I won't) it's the fact that it isn't HD, because this is some Netflix type of documentary, keep it up
Thank you. I’m a Gen X hip hop head and passed my love of the culture to my son who is 29 and has been trying to get me to pay attention to Tyler for years. My brain could never process who he was as an artist and his place in the culture of hip hop. This has helped.
@ I love the album! Between this documentary and his interviews I get this young man and his rap history. I don’t think I was suppose to get him 10 years ago.
I may just have to come back and leave another comment but this video really blew me away. Amazing storytelling from one deep-cut enjoyer to the other. Will be joining that Patreon
Ima yap for a sec....im only 30 minutes in and i got to say this is the besr editing ive ever seen. I was getting ready to type an etire essay about the title but then i saw the intro and i was hooked.Tyler has inspired me so much in 2024 that i littery got a DAW and wanna make music. This video and also inspired me to mayby make a video about tyler and why i wanna be him. Thank you for this. Much love J bird ❤️
this was one of the greatest dissections of an artist on youtube i've ever seen in my life. but to be honest, with the effort you put into this video, you should probably know just how good this is. just like tyler said in the interview with rick rubin "i know, thank you. its not a ego thing. yes, i put in so much effort and i love it and i know that it's good." all love, and keep making this level of outstanding content because im gonna be here for it❤
While Tyler's newer music doesn't connect with my tastes as much as his early music, I couldn't be prouder of the guy for growing and refining his craft. When you hear his music, you know it is his music. I hope he keeps pushing his limits and keeps up his momentum.
i don't think I've ever been more interested or engaged in a video, let alone a docu. this is a masterpiece man. gs and I appreciate the entire symbollic SNS segment recapping the video and furthermore his career.
So great it felt like a movie I watched a lot of Tyler videos and they are all the same, but this brought something so different I've never seen, thank you
This guys got some wisdom for someone his age, never really followed him and I avoid obsessing over these influencers and celebs but he seems like he’d be worth having a conversation with

Thanks for making this man
Extremely happy you made this video, the thought and care put into it makes it all the better
thanks glad you enjoyed it! 🙏🏾
Thanks!
thanks for the donation 🔥🔥🔥
Crazy how underrated this channel is.
One day this channel will be hard to miss believe it!
@@RealSpacialThe Video was fucking good. Watched it all through. This is gonna get big eventually. Also I like your cutting style.
thank you man! i try to be very intentional all my cuts so i’m glad you enjoy the edit
Thank you so much 🔥🔥 i’m glad you enjoyed it my man 💪🏾
if you can, share this with a friend or two! it helps grow my channel 🤞🏾
This has been on my “watch later” for a long time.. I’m glad I watched it when I did. Needed the motivation.
Thanks so much 🔥🙏🏾
the instruments of the different albums make it really feel like I'm looking at different chapters of his life like a book
Keep going and youll blow up, believe in it!! youve got the best hip hop analysis videos on youtube. The way you pick up on everything and decode the lyrics is amazing to watch.
thank you! ima keep grinding one video at a time 💪🏾
this might just be the best video i’ve seen regarding the history and presence of tyler
🙏🏾🙏🏾 thanks

❤️real
Bro just dropped the best tyler the creator documentary
🙏🏾🪐
With him dropping his new album today, i couldn't be more proud of how much work he's been puttin in
facts!
This video was beyond inspirational. To see the beauty that Tyler’s mind has created and shared with us. To see the work you put into dissecting his career and putting it in a timeline showing us how much he’s changed. It’s all great. Amazing video, props to your beautiful mind. Never stop sharing
Thank you so much! I’m glad you enjoy what i’ve created 🫶🏾 what other artist do you wanna see me do a video on?
@@RealSpacial I love too many artists I could give you the longest list. Here are my top ones right now tho! Faye Webster, Matt Maltese, Kali Uchis. Not sure if they would make for a great video like this one lol.
bro keep making these amazing videos. i didn’t think i would stick all the away throw the video but i didn’t even realize the video end
i’m glad it kept you entertained 🔥🙏🏾 thanks for watching and leaving a comment bro
nah bro this is a cold ass nickname for him.
Tyler, The Creator "The Stepchild of Hip Hop"
just found you through this video and will definitely be checking our your other stuff, love your style of editing and incorporation of interviews in this.
Once again 10/10 and as one editor to another, I hope this vid gets you places
i've always really enjoyed your videos, and Tyler has always been a big influence for me as far as creativity as a whole, so seeing the two combined genuinely made me feel inspired and touched to a entirely new level, especially with the relatability of your "november" and sorry not sorry coming together at the end, simply amazing all around bro
im so glad you enjoyed the video! The Sorry not sorry finale was my favorite part lol
This is my first time watching one of your videos and I’m blown away by the quality of everything! Love the way you documented and told Tyler’s story
Im glad you like it! take off your jacket stay a while lol
PHENOMENAL VIDEO SPACIAL!! THIS IS A GRAIL
thank you my man 🙏🏾🙏🏾🙏🏾🙏🏾🔥
This is such a beautiful video man. You really captured the beginning, how it was growing up when OF was at its prime to tyler maturing through the years.
This was an incredible video. ❤
Glad you enjoyed it! It was fun to put together! 🙏🏾
off topic from the video, but I never listened to frank ocean and only started listening to tyler a year after flower boy, I thought frank was gonna be some regular rapper or artist but seeing this video with the frank snippet inspired me to listen to blond, thank you man. now I gotta listen to old tyler and channel orange, diving into a bit of steve lacy too.
This video is by far one of the best I’ve seen in ages this is real art ngl
I appreciate that! I put a lot of time and thought into this
Got you on my recommended, fucking hell the quality is just fantastic! Keep doing what you doing and you're going to get the recognition you deserve

That thing you said at the end about ur november and being the weird kid rly resonates w me that's personal and I felt that we all kinda weird like that but the real ones dont hide it they embrace it and make cool shit like this

Thank you!
i’m glad you enjoyed!! 🫶🏾
Great video, loved the interspliced interviews. They added a lot of down to earth context the help balance your passion that was channeled through formal text.
thank you 🤞🏾
The effort is 👌🏾 from the research to the editing to interviews. You earned yourself to a large audience with this vid.
thanks!

Been waiting for a Tyler video doc 🙏🙏
i hope you enjoyed it 🤝🏾
Video done so well, the only thing I can complain (and I won't) it's the fact that it isn't HD, because this is some Netflix type of documentary, keep it up
i had no space on my computer to export to 1080 😭 but next time i’ll try to make more room im glad you liked it though 🔥
i asked for this a while ago bro and im so happy u made this rlly inspired me with my music man
hell yea i’m glad your happy with how it came out
this is just one of those videos that make you want to replay it over and over again, keep it up this was amazing
Thanks for watching
this video was so well made, edited, and researched. I love the way the prelude/beginning wraps around and continues at the end. Great😄
Thanks i’m glad you enjoyed it!!
Thank you. I’m a Gen X hip hop head and passed my love of the culture to my son who is 29 and has been trying to get me to pay attention to Tyler for years. My brain could never process who he was as an artist and his place in the culture of hip hop. This has helped.
I love that! How do you feel about Chromakopia?
@ I love the album! Between this documentary and his interviews I get this young man and his rap history. I don’t think I was suppose to get him 10 years ago.
I may just have to come back and leave another comment but this video really blew me away. Amazing storytelling from one deep-cut enjoyer to the other. Will be joining that Patreon
Broo i appreciate you!! if you like deep cuts you’ll love the extended interviews on there 🔥🔥
Ima yap for a sec....im only 30 minutes in and i got to say this is the besr editing ive ever seen.
Thank you so much for creating this documentary -- truly a gem for anyone who loves Tyler. THANK YOU
i’m glad you enjoyed!!
tell a friend about this video 💪🏾
this was one of the greatest dissections of an artist on youtube i've ever seen in my life. but to be honest, with the effort you put into this video, you should probably know just how good this is. just like tyler said in the interview with rick rubin "i know, thank you. its not a ego thing. yes, i put in so much effort and i love it and i know that it's good." all love, and keep making this level of outstanding content because im gonna be here for it❤
i appreciate you my man 💪🏾💪🏾 see you next time
While Tyler's newer music doesn't connect with my tastes as much as his early music, I couldn't be prouder of the guy for growing and refining his craft. When you hear his music, you know it is his music. I hope he keeps pushing his limits and keeps up his momentum.
thats real!
I loved this video, really. I loved the interviews, the transitions, the november thing, and SPECIALLY the ending. Kepp the hard work man
Thanks! Im glad you enjoyed it! tell a friend or two about me
7:20 "Tyler's *autistic* carer" couldn't have said better myself

i don't think I've ever been more interested or engaged in a video, let alone a docu. this is a masterpiece man. gs and I appreciate the entire symbollic SNS segment recapping the video and furthermore his career.
