- The Monkey bikes are super, but the rear springs could use a little help. You can try replacing the lower spring collar with an adjustable one. the shock body diameter is 32mm so you need to find an adjusting collars that size.
I do not know of any source for new collars at this time so [you can try Honda part # 52422-292-000 ] I am using used ones from '76 CB750 shocks that I had sitting around. This is of course much less expensive than new shocks and retains the bikes stock appearance that I like.
UPDATE 7-2-21 After installing the adjusting collars on the shocks the ride for Me at 190lb has greatly improved! The larger bumps in the road are no longer the bone jarring hit the bump-stop jolt that it was before. The ride in average conditions is still very good. These adjusters have 5 levels of adjustment. I have been using the 3rd level. Even the lowest setting is about one click stiffer than stock. The bike now is much more enjoyable now as I don't have to worry about standing on the pegs every time I think a big ones coming at Me.

Where can I buy the spring adjust?
I know its hard to find the adjusters unless they are already on a shock assembly. Not a common replacement part that wears out. Best is to find old used and leaky 32mm shocks cheap and take the adjusters off of them.
You mounted the spring adjustment collar backwards. I know you will refuse to acknowledge corrections - that is what you americans do - but trust me, you did it incorrectly.
