Lord have mercy! I think Steve Marriott was and still is the best rock vocalist ever! In America we have our beloved Elvis Presley! I love this, watching him sing gospel music! It does my heart good! I pray he is with the angels and with God! The song he was singing was written by Hank Williams Senior and to write a song like that you really must have saw the light or at least he did! I love, absolutely love, Steve Marriott! He will rock on, especially in my house!
I agree. And Steve is still rockin my house too. I need to listen to him everyday, even after all these years. Imo, Steve Marriott was and still is the best. I know he's rockin the heavens because there's no stopping him.

Steve Marriot is just a joy to watch and hear! Everything he does is gold. I hope he really did see the light! Jesus is the real deal, the truth, dont feel embarrassed to sing it out loud! And praise the Lord!

It's amazing Robert isn't it! I was searching my whole life for the truth...but we're turned against The Lord by the satanic beast system. Bashing Christ is fair game on tv and media in general...Critique any other 'deity'and it's hate speech. Though this bias was one of the reasons i began thinking...'there's something to Jesus and the bible'..though i know it's God who removes the scales from our eyes. I was a mocker and scoffer, a fool! Absolutely! Even after all these years, i still listen to Steve Marriott everyday. Listening to and seeing him just makes my days brighter. He was such an amazingly talented guy, vocally and instrumentally, with so much charisma. He never made it as big as he should have, but he never gave up on his love of music. There was no stopping him, so I know he's rockin the heavens.

Priceless...the irrepressible Steve Marriott...just how much do we miss him now. Watching this should make people understand why so many 'stars' of the day felt threatened by him. The guy was a natural born performer with a towering talent. A natural born leader too...just watch him conduct the proceedings. I bet Red Shirt Guy was thinking less than holy thoughts throughout...but let's be fair here...the poor guy did have STEVE F****** MARRIOTT standing next to him...LOL!!!!!

The proper title is "I Saw The Light". I asked Steve about this show & he said he was drunk as a skunk & high as a kite, to which he laughed at the memory.
And he was still amazing, that voice, none better.

I can't believe Bill Clifton has never been inducted into the Country Music Hall of Fame. Bill Clifton along with Stringbean have been sadly passed up for the hall of fame. VERY SAD.

wow! Look at the people round him! He's stelaing the show & he's not even trying! Esp watch man in red shirt ,he's lookin none too happy bout it. Wish Steve had seen some kind of light he certainly had enough of his own. It's cool to see him doing this but he looks so out of place here it's heartbreaking.I get the feeling he was having too much fun for 'em Alexis looks a bit uneasy bout it too but Marriott will always be the best to me, hope he's found that light for real I truly miss him

Absolutely! Whenever i comment anywhere about Steve Marriott, i always mention his great charisma. Even after all these years, i still listen to him everyday; have to get my fix of Steve everyday.
