Summer of '72. I was 9 years old. The summers of the early '70s were so carefree. I could still hear how this song sounded on my little portable AM radio.
They simply don't make music like this anymore. Pure gold !!! I was 12yrs old when this tune came out. Sure brings back memories.
This is also my era also the 60s. I heard this song on the radio for years. I came home with my iPad and already played it six times. Love it.

I was 14 years old and getting into music a couple of years by this time. Was already getting into Led Zep, Edger Winter, Rick Derringer, The Doors, Rush, Grandfunk Railway, CCR, Pink Floyd. This was for all intent and purpose, pop music. I tap my toe to this music and it had a place on the AM dial of my father's car. I was more into plugging in an 8 track with CCR on it.
A time when songs in general were about the simple and happier side of life....
I'm proud to say I was born in this era, what a beautiful era. This is my my beautiful 70's.

80s music was not that good.
When I was in the Boy Scouts The Fantastic Mr. Muscat - George Muscat - was a volunteer scout leader. His energy and his flair and his caring made him a favourite with all the platoons and everyone fought for the right to ride in his car to and from jamborees. He would play the radio full volume and everyone would scream and sing at the top of their lungs. This was his favorite song and therefore our favorite song and we all hollard ha ha ha so loud you could hear us at the Jamboree before we left the house. Long live Mr. Muscats family and the memory of that great, great man.
