Sully really nailed that one.
Mandolin with a crying wahwah pedal? Fiddle with distortion? Funky bass solo? What has happened to Blue Summit? I LOVE it!!
Just need a jazz drummer. I 🙋♂️ volunteer. 🎉
Geniuses. Musical geniuses, I say.
@@lawrencevandenberg7725 and/or a Hammond B3
@@secretsofproductmanagement bob's idea of the main ingredient, enh? There goes the quick swing onto the rolling box car, though...& the roadie & the stage mgr are a little piqued. (Hey! Don't pique it, it'll never heal!) 😄

I don't know why the algorithm pushed this to me, but I'm really glad they did - great version of this Dylan deep cut. Props to all involved!
God Bless the algorithm

Risky cover but well done. Risky because Dylan’s performance is so incredible in the way he hides ghd words. I really liked this version. The band is excellent. Good work and thank you
Great voice, great band, wha on the mandolin, and some fuzzed up Fiddle ? Sign me up !!!
Hadn't heard Sully sing much before now...He's really inhis element here. This band is really something wonderful, and they give me a lot of hope for the future of music.
Sully only sings songs which suit his voice, i.e. those that can be sung in a lower register. It's a good choice because he sounds good with those songs. On top of that, he's a heck of a guitar picker.
AJ Lee is loaded with talent!
Every Bob Dylan cover I've heard from Blue Summit has been GREAT. Damn fine job, folks!
I’ll be 70 in October and I love what I hear . PUT A BLANKET ON MY BED!!!!
Best Meet me in the Morning cover I’ve ever heard. It’s been on repeat for a couple days and still bringing it.
Great find! Thanks for getting me back to REAL music!
I love it when i hear the 'trilling ' of the Mandolin . A good old fashioned ' bluegrass' trick !
Great version!!!
Demonstrating once again: Scott Gates fits in everything this band does. 👌
OMG this has to be a whole other level of musical genius - as individuals for sure but the experience of them playing off each other is such a joy. Best version of this tune that I've heard - thank you guys
Yes!!!!! Indeed!!!!😊
Holi crap! Bcz of ur band im investing in a real stereo yall r IT❤ this is what its meant to to PLAY❤❤❤❤
Great job Sully.
Great song I came here for AJ, I stayed to hear the song after the fine picking I heard! Love it! ❤️
This is one of those covers that equal the original. Fantastic!
Thanks universe just when I needed you
Same feeling for me in this night
Oh God, this is good!
they owned it. great cover. Smokin', slow burn with just the right essence of dylan
Not sure how I got here but who cares, wow that was awesome.
Bob would be proud.
Anytime I need a little alternative Dylan fix, I refer back to this
I was looking for an interpretation of this Dylan tune I love so much. But I don’t find some who please me, only Freddie King because of the blues, but I was lookin for something else…And as I was going to let ot, the algorithm offre me this jewel ✨✨✨✨
👌🏽I Love it Summit, 🌺in 10 dimensions. 🌎Bring it , like-a dat.
Never heard this one before! Fantastic!
Mon dieu que c'est beau... quelle version... interprétation ... talents, sons, folies... tout y est ... bob aussi...of course... dire que c'est juste un blues... il devient anthologie...gratitude
That fiddle and mandolin are perfect instruments on this song. Very well arranged and performed. Thanks for sharing. Great music!
Dylan himself could do it no better, if as well
Hallelujah for the algorithm!
Thanks for sharing this!
-- They also did a great cover of it a couple of years ago. It's on UA-cam.
THAT, was amazing!!!
Nice to see Bedell guitars getting some exposure. Underrated brand.
This cover is so spot on.. you managed to elavate the song with your rendition, bravo!
I am on a different planet listening to this. Absolutely fabulous.

Awesome cover…loves the bluesy sound.
Great band! Wow ❤Appreciation and support from Bonoki Music 😍
Nice tribute. Great voice and guitar.
They are playing in Portland, Maine, in March, I can't wait to see them!
Sullivan Tuttle channeling 1980s Dylan like he lives there. And the whole band is bringing it at the top of their game. Racked for repeat cause once ain't enough. Love it! Lyrics below.
Meet me in the morning, 56th and Wabasha
Meet me in the morning, 56th and Wabasha
Honey, we could be in Kansas
By time the snow begins to thaw
They say the darkest hour is right before the dawn
They say the darkest hour is right before the dawn
Honey, you wouldn't know it by me
Every day's been darkness since you been gone
Little rooster crowin', there must be something on his mind
Little rooster crowin', there must be something on his mind
Well, I feel just like that rooster
Honey, you treat me so unkind
Well, I struggled through barbed wire
Felt the hail fall from above
Well, I struggled through barbed wire
Felt the hail fall from above
Well, you know, I even outrun the hound dogs
Honey, you know I've earned your love
Look at the sun sinkin' like a ship
Look at the sun sinkin' like a ship
Ain't that just like my heart, babe
When you kissed my lips?
Love it! But reallu love the bass player!
Shreddin' that Blueridge
Nice jam. Unique.

Love it. Memories of searching for 56th and Wabasha. Haven’t found it yet.
It’s (Highway) 56 & Wabasha (Street) in St Paul.
@@geoffoconnor3487 thank you!
where is that? I still can’t find it. I lived there many years. David Zimmerman (Dylan’s brother) had his office in the same building I lived in. I could see the gold “blood on the tracks” framed album on the wall through the window. I never had the nerve to walk in and talk to him. I know he was involved in making that record.
I’m guessing this would have to be down in South St Paul near I 494, not far from the old stock yards?
@@davidpeightal4918 Hi David, I have never been to Minnesota (yet); I am Australian. It is a bit confusing, because routes and numbers of the highways have changed a few times over the years. But I think the intersection is south of the river where Wabasha Street crosses Robert Street, which is now State Hwy 3 and US 952A.
Bob and David had a large country house together in the highlands of Scotland, which they recently sold.
@@geoffoconnor3487 it is hilarious to me that it takes someone from Australia to solve this mystery for me! I know that intersection of Robert and Wabasha and this makes that song even more vivid for me. There is some really great Mexican food all within a block or two of there. I have driven it in a car, a semi truck, rode bike through it and walked through it. That side of the river is called South St Paul.
@@davidpeightal4918 I'll come and take a look when the weather is warmer. It will reach 38 ⁰C (to 100.4⁰F) today in Adelaide, which is normal for January.
Don't let Sully's expressionless face fool you, but listen to his guitar that says it all! And give credit too to the wonderful Jan. Who is the new gal? All great!
For some reason unbeknownst, Robert Shaw has been all over my feed lately. Imagine my surprise when somebody in a cover of an old Dylan song starts singing about "56 and Robert Shaw."
I'm not going to watch _Jaws,_ you can't make me!!!
Great sound !
Honest question , from someone new to this kind of music, but loving it. Is it not a lot like Jazz ?
I saw Scott when he courted Maude in Harold and Maude.
Excellent! What kind of strings is Sully on here? Sounds like nylon. The FX on the fiddle are awesome.
*_faark!!!....HOLY SHITE!!!_*
Where's Bob Dylan?
AJ met some mushroom enthusiasts
Welll I dunno.
A song that reached down into my musical innards all those years ago, and wouldn't let go, all because of its most powerful signature sound - that holy pedal steel guitar (that has been so surgically removed here) almost as if's religiosity couldn't stand the powder test after all.
This must makes me just want to just hunt down that original like a good old hound dawg and chew on those pedals for awhile.

Great song. Great cover. Poor singer might have low dopamine levels. I can relate.
Best cover is Freddie King's one.
Not much without the electric slide.
I can't agree with most of the comments here, I'm afraid. It's obviously all down to personal taste, and many of you enjoyed this take on the song. But for me the vocals are rather flat and sound like 'singing by numbers'. Dylan hasn't got the greatest singing voice, but at least on the original he managed to inject a bit of life and meaning into the lyrics. As for the arrangement, I thought it sounded like a work in progress, and rather ragged at times. The distortion on the fiddle didn't work for me. AJ's playing was fine enough as usual, and the use of the wah-wah was an interesting experiment. Sully is undoubtedly a very talented guitarist. But for me guitar solos are not about how many notes you can cram into them, but about the feeling you can impart through your playing. I'm all for musicians, jamming and trying out new sounds and arrangements, so full marks for that, but this version didn't hit the spot for me.
PS For other versions of the song on UA-cam, which may not be of interest to strictly bluegrass followers, there is a fine bluesy rendition by Lukas Nelson and POTR. And demonstrating just how much soul can be put into the lyrics, there is an interpretation by Jocelyn and Chris.
I agreed with you. Not into this rendition but the musicians are talented. Definitely disliked the fiddle. Quite harsh in my opinion.
Personal taste is a funny thing .I think that though Dylan is one of the most gifted songwriters of our age his vocals sound like his privates got caught in a vise and my cat blows better harp than he does. I blow harp on the youtube version of howlin like a wolf by Liz Blair. Contrast my playing with Dylans and see if I am correct.
Hmnmm-- seems the lead singer is half-asleep.... could use a little EMOTION!
