Seen these guys live a few times now in UK, lucky to have caught them in 2023 in Camden, they are so awesome, wish I could have got to the US to see them at the Ryman, as that is such an atmospheric venue, I bet that was a dream gig........
I enjoy mostly death metal and Motorhead, but The Dead South is one of my fav bands. Quite some time ago my friend sent me a link. It was In Hell I'll Be in Good Company, and I was immediately hooked and hungry for more. I love the craftsmanship, work and talent poured into this music. Absolute pleasure and joy to listen to, and oh boy so many bangers.
I never get enough of these guys. They have a rough edge to their music and a harmony that smooths it right out. And there is nothing like a well strummed cello to make an impression. =)
