I didn’t realize Sarah Jake Roberts was only 31, she extremely wise beyond her years and exudes a high level of maturity and confidence. It’s incredible and she is a huge inspiration to me.

I would love to have all these women in my circle. Essence lives her name, even in the space/place she is privately in right now - she speaks from a place of peace, calm and eloquence.
And Essence's segment is a blessing in the 2020 documentary, "Behind Her Faith". She is waiting well. I am in the period of waiting myself. I am waiting well. I have done my assessment.
It's amazing how we can listen to the same interview and hear or resonate with different points. Because I didn't even hear this statement during the interview.

I'm so glad that the world gets to hear and see my friend Essence in this depth. Essence has a pure heart for God. I've watched Sarah evolve from a 13 year old into a giant in the ministry. She is so dope. I've never heard of Stephanie but she will not be forgotten. She is not only a gifted interviewer but an anointed woman of God.
Her story reminds me of the ministry of RC Blakes, Jr. & how God is using his wisdom to bless people all over the world! It's amazing. May God continue to bless y'all.
It's so interesting how this question can lead to deeper conversation. I asked a male friend of mine how he was doing this morning and he said he was doing good. About an hour later, I remembered this question and asked him how his heart was. He then told me that he wasn't doing too well and has been feeling lonely. He lives out of state and has been social distancing alone at home. Glad I was able to provide extra emotional support by asking this question!
My friend- years ago- always started asking me, "How is your soul, darling?" And I was so thankful for the work God did in her that gave her the utterance to ask such a beautiful and intentional question. ♥️

I had to pause this video a couple of times and simply relish at their gentle beauty. It reminded me of 1 Peter 3:3-4. There is a quietness to all three of them that invites you to lean in and want to know more at their feet. There is kindness in their eyes and love in their smiles. YOOOOOOO "When we are waiting on something that we believe is gonna give us more worth or value, and we don’t receive it than it takes away from our worth or value!" BOOM! If that is not a word. I loved that sentence. It speaks exactly to the problem. That too often we desire something like a man or relationships because we believe it adds to our value as women and then when we don't get it we compare ourselves to others, thinking we are inferior or a failure. But Sarah is right IF YOU ARE BREATHING, YOU ARE VALUABLE!
I’m a student and I’ve been praying to God for scholarships for about a year. I’m still waiting and lately it’s been very discouraging and just confusing, especially in the midst of this pandemic where I really need help because my parents won’t be able to help with my tuition. Every time I think that that I’m qualified for something, it seems that someone else receives it. I was scrolling through Instagram and I found a post for this podcast. This is what I need🙌🏾

Oh sis I've been where you are but the waiting is NOT in vain. I didn't have money for school the first year of school. I had saved up right after highschool half my income from my summer job and had gotten small scholarships from applications i applied to but not enough to cover a full year. Couldn't get the parent plus loan. Ohhhhh but God. One day at my old church the pastor had mentioned someone was in need of financial breakthrough and at first, I was hesitant to go up but then, I went anyway. I was the only one and he prayed over me. Not long After that my cousin let me know that a colleague of his was looking to sponsor another college student Girl He took care of tuition groceries books And place to stay. I am not in deep debt because of that blessing. God was faithful and the back pay of my balance on student loans was paid! All the scholarships I was applying for wasn't coming through my school but God had a ram in the bush. He is faithful, be encouraged.

OMG! This is my word! I can barely hold back the tears in the break room here at work. My husband passed in 2015 when he was living with another woman. Ive been so bitter and so hurt and yet so lonely for him. So much has happened. I NEVER thought about this as a period of waiting and assessment and preparation for better in losing all that I lost. PRAISE BE TO GOD! look at Him work. I see that I need to just be thankful for what he has delivered me from. And what He is going to deliver me into. Thank you ladies. Thank you for your honesty, vulnerability, and for your obedience to God. You inspire and encourage me. I so needed that. My soul needed that. Bringing so much clarity for me and I was thinking the whole time like whew I can't wait to meet women like the three of you because you are just so phenomenal, radiant, blessed and mature but i'm realizing that if I want to meet such people with such qualities, I'd have to attract them and to attract, I'd have to BE them and I'm only 19 but the desire to be this phenomenal and inspirational is huge. This was such a great interview! 3 intelligent women of God being authentic and raw! I needed to hear this message today. Essence’s prayer at the end was so beautifully prayed. I declare in the name of Jesus that my waiting is not in vain.
Right I cried! Lol this was indeed powerful and for me. I don't have an issue with waiting but my issue is walking in my office/calling of Prophecy. I was bold before but it feels as if I have been stripped. But I feel my help coming on by continuously watching stuff like this that will continue to uplift and empower me so that I may and will arose to the occasion. There is a lost and dieing world out here that needs to hear my voice and what God will have me to say to His people. Pray for me if you believe in Christ Jesus. We all have to bear our cross. I went through a divorce myself. Still healing from that. And also lost my ten year old autistic daughter. She was abducted and murdered. Healing and waiting. I am thankful that I have a relationship with God and thank God for the people who are there for me, through thick and thin. I agree ☝️ with you ladies on sisterhood and woman empowerment
I'm currently in this season and it's painful but God promised to sustain me and he's been faithful. I realize that God blesses us through some disappointments and would protect us even from ourselves. That's how much he loves us. It's not easy but to any person who is this season, trust God. Trust his process. Trust his plan for you.
'Work Ethic" was profound to me but I've found that my work ethic is similar to my spiritual growth effort. I've done a little but wanted a lot. Self assessment has become my posture as I learn to do Colossians 3:1-2 - "Set my mind on things above." Thanks and God bless all of you.

Tears of hope and love are streaming down my face. BC God just keeps showing up in waves sending messages back to back to me on the issues of my heart. God never leaves me alone and when I submit my heart to him he always comes through to let me know He is meeting me where I am. I am humbled by this word and by the word I received from Dr. Dharius Daniel's today. When God shows up he pours his loving word on me guiding me into truth and helping me release the weight back onto him.

I believe nothing bad comes with the waiting season, especially when we trust in God while waiting. It might not seem enjoyable and thrilling but it definitely has loads of good in it because it builds our strength, resilience, patience and faith. Isaiah 40:31 But those who wait on the LORD Shall renew their strength; They shall mount up with wings like eagles, They shall run and not be weary, They shall walk and not faint. ❤️

I had to pause this video a couple of times and simply relish at their gentle beauty. It reminded me of 1 Peter 3:3-4. YOOOOOOO "When we are waiting on something that we believe is gonna give us more worth or value, and we don’t receive it than it takes away from our worth or value!" BOOM! If that is not a word. I loved that sentence. It speaks exactly to the problem. That too often we desire something like a man or relationships because we believe it adds to our value as women and then when we don't get it we compare ourselves to others, thinking we are inferior or a failure. But Sarah is right IF YOU ARE BREATHING, YOU ARE VALUABLE!

I’m a student and I’ve been praying to God for scholarships for about a year. I’m still waiting and lately it’s been very discouraging and just confusing, especially in the midst of this pandemic where I really need help because my parents won’t be able to help with my tuition. Every time I think that that I’m qualified for something, it seems that someone else receives it. I was scrolling through Instagram and I found a post for this podcast. This is what I need🙌🏾
Hey, know that God is faithful. Everything is in His timing because when you are bless with your scholarship..you will know that it was all God and give Him all the glory. Cast your cares upon Him for he cares for you....1 Perter 5:7
Jemima Janvier, God is definitely using you unceasing prayer to draw you closer to him. And you’re not qualify because God has the greatest and best qualification for you. So take courage that show ears are not deaf and He’s has the best for you. So I encourage you to keep praying and reminding faithful. Because He’s true to His word. Oh sis I've been where you are but the waiting is NOT in vain. I didn't have money for school the first year of school. I had saved up right after highschool half my income from my summer job and had gotten small scholarships from applications i applied to but not enough to cover a full year. Couldn't get the parent plus loan. Ohhhhh but God. One day at my old church the pastor had mentioned someone was in need of financial breakthrough and at first, I was hesitant to go up but then, I went anyway. I was the only one and he prayed over me. Not long After that my cousin let me know that a colleague of his was looking to sponsor another college student
Girl He took care of tuition groceries books And place to stay. I am not in deep debt because of that blessing. God was faithful and the back pay of my balance on student loans was paid! All the scholarships I was applying for wasn't coming through my school but God had a ram in the bush. He is faithful, be encouraged.
I'm in the same boat and I'm hoping for a miracle, l know God will definitely come through for us

OMG! This is my word! I can barely hold back the tears in the break room here at work. My husband passed in 2015 when he was living with another woman. Ive been so bitter and so hurt and yet so lonely for him. So much has happened. I NEVER thought about this as a period of waiting and assessment and preparation for better in losing all that I lost. PRAISE BE TO GOD! look at Him work. I see that I need to just be thankful for what he has delivered me from. And what He is going to deliver me into. Thank you ladies. Thank you for your honesty, vulnerability, and for your obedience to God. You inspire and encourage me. I so needed that. My soul needed that. Bringing so much clarity for me and I was thinking the whole time like whew I can't wait to meet women like the three of you because you are just so phenomenal, radiant, blessed and mature but i'm realizing that if I want to meet such people with such qualities, I'd have to attract them and to attract, I'd have to BE them and I'm only 19 but the desire to be this phenomenal and inspirational is huge. You ladies are doing a whole lot and God is using you mightily.. talk about goals!!

This was such a great interview! 3 intelligent women of God being authentic and raw! I needed to hear this message today. Essence’s prayer at the end was so beautifully prayed. I declare in the name of Jesus that my waiting is not in vain.
Right I cried! Lol this was indeed powerful and for me. I don't have an issue with waiting but my issue is walking in my office/calling of Prophecy. I was bold before but it feels as if I have been stripped. But I feel my help coming on by continuously watching stuff like this that will continue to uplift and empower me so that I may and will arose to the occasion. There is a lost and dieing world out here that needs to hear my voice and what God will have me to say to His people. Pray for me if you believe in Christ Jesus. We all have to bear our cross. And I'm praying for you all as well.

My dad use to tell me the same thing, to stop looking down I had nothing to be ashamed of, it wasn't that i was ashamed of something, it was that i wasn't confident in myself at all.

I went through a divorce myself. Still healing from that. And also lost my ten year old autistic daughter. She was abducted and murdered. Healing and waiting. I am thankful that I have a relationship with God and thank God for the people who are there for me, through thick and thin. I agree ☝️ with you ladies on sisterhood and woman empowerment

I realize that God blesses us through some disappointments and would protect us even from ourselves. That's how much he loves us. It's not easy but to any person who is this season, trust God. Trust his process. Trust his plan for you.
'Work Ethic" was profound to me but I've found that my work ethic is similar to my spiritual growth effort. I've done a little but wanted a lot. Self assessment has become my posture as I learn to do Colossians 3:1-2 - "Set my mind on things above." Thanks and God bless all of you.

Tears of hope and love are streaming down my face. BC God just keeps showing up in waves sending messages back to back to me on the issues of my heart. God never leaves me alone and when I submit my heart to him he always comes through to let me know He is meeting me where I am. I am humbled by this word and by the word I received from Dr. Dharius Daniel's today. When God shows up he pours his loving word on me guiding me into truth and helping me release the weight back onto him.

Yes, I believe the waiting is important! It took me 10 years to heal from first marriage in my 20's. Nothing wrong with waiting but not letting everything pass by.

I believe nothing bad comes with the waiting season, especially when we trust in God while waiting. It might not seem enjoyable and thrilling but it definitely has loads of good in it because it builds our strength, resilience, patience and faith.
