      Also why does fda oversee MEDICAL DEVICES when that has nothing to do with food or drugs???
      Using food+drugs to secretly get devices into our bodies!!?? This government is a virus attacking the host (us)! Of course they know this because they control the drugs and devices that can kill the virus...very sneaky FDA but we have figured out your scheme!!!

      and secondly, i'm not about to list every 70 millions vegetables on earth and what each and every separate and distinct debilitating effect they have on your endocrine system, i do not entertain iq-deficient On-The-Spot-Fallacies.
      but to the OP whom i was talking to, plants cant run away from their hunters like animals can, so they use other methods to prevent being killed.
      some (but not all) plants produce Fruit for animals to eat, a little bit of energy given to the animal and in exchange for the distribution of seeds. vegetables on the other hand are the plants own energy stores, and plants do not want you stealing thier personal energy stores, and they defend them very aggressively, sometimes with physical barriers such as hard shells, thorns, prickles, burying them underground etc. other plants use simple non-aggressive deterrents like adding chemicals that prevent other animals from absorbing the nutrients on those energy stores, such as the so called "anti-nutrients:" found in most legumes, nuts, tubas, etc..
      MOST plants however use very aggressive biological warfare, adding chemicals which will cause an extremely wide range of Endocrine system disorders, such as cancers, tumors, obesity, issues, infertility (cant stop you eating them? lets wipe out your species instead), and the whole slew of Psychosexual Disorders we see exploding nowadays since humans have abandoned the mostly meat and fruit diets of yesteryear. the list goes on, but i am not your Female-only University Scholarship provider..i'm not going to educate you.
      as i said in my own post on this video, theres no way the 2 years of "internet study" the child in the video has done can even begin to get to the root of this topic, let alone a youtube video comment. your On-The_Spot-Fallacy is woefully invalid.
      study endocrinology at a university level for 6 years and you might begin to get a better idea. better yet, do the 2+1/2 decades of clinical research i have done.

    I’m 36 weeks pregnant. Was told at the beginning of my first trimester to eat cereal for breakfast for the folic acid and the extra calcium from the milk. I grew up in Germany and still very much stick to my German diet, hardly eat processed foods, barely any sugar. All of a sudden I get diagnosed with gestational diabetes at 29 weeks. The best part? My dietitian then tells me that I should go for a walk after a carb-heavy meal because it will instantly lower my blood sugar but that she’s NOT SUPPOSED TO TELL PEOPLE THAT.
    Ummm, what??? You’re not supposed to tell people struggling with high blood sugars that WALKING would prevent the glucose spikes?? And instead promote an unhealthy diet and pharmaceuticals like metformin and insulin?? Well of course, those make the industry money. Going for a walk does not.

    • @tibork9668
      @tibork9668 22 дні тому +18

      Uhm mostly everything you said is either wrong or pure misinformation.
      Gestational diabetes is its own type of diabetes and it shouldn’t be grouped with type 1 or 2, since the mechanism is entirely different. No one told you to take metformin, metformin is not safe for pregnant women, the only treatment for gestational diabetes is insulin and that is to make sure your glucose levels stay normal for your baby’s own development.
      Going for a walk after eating won’t lower your glucose levels, gestational diabetes will go away once the baby is delivered.

      Interesting choice of diet suggested. My midwife always said to eat a rainbow of fruit and vegetables and to eat dairy if I can tolerate it (I can) and meats that are not processed. Cereal breaks down to sugar in your body, no different to your system than candy. Of course it will cause blood sugar spikes.

Food and exercise are important for cancer prevention, but it's important to keep in mind that cancer can also be caused by viruses, genetics and undetermined causes. So as someone with a pathogenic cancer causing gene mutation-I am well informed by my genetic counselors and oncologists of how cancer occurs for most people and the minority as myself.
    So cancer IS always genetic. HOWEVER-The confusion people have is thinking that “genetic” is the same as “heritable”. It is not.
    MAJORITY of the cases of cancer are caused by environmentally induced genetic changes in cells. These changes are caused by things like Chemicals we ingest through food, inhalation, etc, and UV rays. They are so aware that food is a primary cause. You have no idea.
    This has been an issue many have been called conspiracy theorists about for years, no one wants to hear it, but it’s in EVERYTHING. Your clothes and Lenin’s, your cleaning products, your detergents, your air fresheners, your water, and most heartbreakingly-your food.
    I have ways Ben very slow to make the jump due to wanting to travel and camp, however we have been making the transition to homesteading because it’s the only true way to know what’s in your food. Even the ORGANIC label simply can’t be trusted, I want to row and raise our own food, preserve it, grow and process our own fibers and make yarn, clothes, and Lenin’s, and I want to teach my kids how to do these things too.

    • @petertang9611
      @petertang9611 22 дні тому

      If cancer is genetic, we should see cancer cells always have specific cancer genes. That is NOT what we find though. We can find two people with the exact same cancer, and one of them will have thousands of genetic mutations in those cells, while the other can have exactly ZERO genetic mutations in their cancer cells.
      Dr. Thomas Seyfried (realistically - the grad students under him) has even done an experiment proving that the genetic mutations have no effect whatsoever on cancer: When a healthy cell has its nucleus, and thereby its genes, removed and replaced with that of a cancer cell, it continues to behave as a healthy cell (in the petri dish). The "cancer genes" have no impact whatsoever on cell behavior. When a cancer cell has its nucleus removed and replaced with that of a healthy cell, it either remains a cancer cell, or undergoes apoptosis (controlled cell death). The cancer cell with the non-cancer genetics inserted into it never starts behaving as a healthy cell.
      What all cancer cells do have in common is dysfunctional mitochondria. That would make it a metabolic disease, not a genetic disease. When the cancer cells are grown in a petri dish filled with fat and ketones, and amino acids other than glutamine, but no glucose, they always die. When healthy cells are grown in a petri dish with the exact same nutrient mixture, they thrive. Also, cancer is always identified visually, and it's the discolored mitochondria that are responsible for the visual appearance of cancer.
      The miss-identification of the cause of cancer is the reason we don't have any mainstream cure for it, or even any slightly effective treatment that's designed to target the genetics of cancer (all our current mainstream cancer treatments are brute-force treatments). If cancer were actually genetic, then we would easily be able to cure it with monoclonal antibodies or something similar to it.

    I don't know if this was what you were trying to say at the end of your video. To "do something with your life when you're young." That's so true. Because I'm 45 now, lately have been spending a lot of time looking back at the mistakes I made in life. Because I don't have much to look forward to. Just years of working a dead end job watch my life go by.
    I had kind of a traumatic childhood and my parents didn't prepare me to face the world. It took me into my late 20s to deal with the pain and I had more to come. I was too afraid to step out and meet people. Because I was afraid of just getting hurt. I didn't know how to talk to people and I still really don't. So I have no real friends. I spent years just self medicating to dull the pain and loneliness. I have started going to therapy recently. But I don't have much hope of that doing me any good this late in my life. I have no idea where to go and meet people. After all of that what I'm trying to say is if your still young don't waist the time you have. If there's something you want to do with your life just do it. If there is somewhere you want to go, just do it. Well if you can afford it. Before you know it your 20s and 30s will be gone. And all you will have left is babies and memories. I don't know why I wrote this BC or anyone is never going to read it. Like in the working mans national anthem " I just wanted to be a simple kind of man. Be something you can love and understand."

    The link between cancer and genetic predisposition is stronger than the link to your lifestyle decisions like which foods you eat. In the US, people consume preprocessed foods primarily, that comes with plenty of other diseases like diabetes, high blood pressure etc. I am 52, my wife and I foster a very healthy food habit. My wife had to be treated three times for two different cancer variations. I had none but with a hazardous conditions job, including radioactive materials, I have not been diagnosed with cancer. The difference is, in her family is a history of cancer, in my family there is no history of cancer.

  • @Valaame

    Ideally, you want your food to be as local as possible (so it's fresh), only eat grass-fed meat (can be expensive, but quality is better than quantity, the main animal products I eat are eggs and dairies) and get dry ingredients like cereals in bulk, so you know exactly what you're getting, plus there's already too much packaging.
    When you learn about nutrition you realize the key is to eat as much variety as possible, so try to vary the types of vegetables, cereals, and protein each day of the week. Also, please eat more whole grain, it's so much better for you.
    Where I live in Europe, it's pretty easy to find fresh, local, seasonal and organic (I'm not taking any chances with my health, also they pays farmers properly) fruits and vegetables because there are many stores in walking distance that guaranty these standards, and it's great to bring groceries home and have next to no plastic (I use cloth bags for most things).
    I barely ever have any health problem, and so are my family who have the same lifestyle, so I'll take that as a good sign.

    Adding people that are researching this-and taking a new stand-to the list of things I am thankful for. Knowledge really is power/ability. The amount of our foods and cosmetics that negatively influence our endocrine system is devastating. Yes, some healthy foods are priced higher than fast foods and quick snacks so for families or groups of people it is harder to buy cleaner foods. But starting to eat cleaner is a new goal I want to push through

I'm not overweight and I pretty much exclusively drink water and occasionally milk, so I'm probably not in as bad a situation with food health as many others, but it still worries me especially with how little I know. When you don't have many options on what you can eat when this kind of crap is going around is when it's quite worrisome.

    It definitely is not all genetics. Three years ago my lovely older sister had her first baby girl. She was diagnosed with acute myeloid leukemia which usually develops in old age. It was so strange because my sister and her husband had no cancer history or any genetic mutations correlated to this type of cancer. This baby girl was an angel and hardly cried, always smiled, but she was only 2 and didn’t make it. We know she is giggling up in Heaven with our grandma and that God is keeping her safe and happy.

    The thing is in this day and age food and bills and whatever expenses you have have gone up so much the average American family can’t afford to go the healthy food route. Fortunately for me I was raised in a upper middle class household where we did eat healthy and could easily afford it but it is so sad to see family’s and their children being so obese and overweight because of the result of what we put in our food. Grace is so right in saying with every bite we take the less time we have. I just read an article saying that the average American will not see a healthy birthday after the age of 65. It is truly a depressing fate for gen-z and gen-alpha. I hear teachers talking about how kids have gotten so out of hand mentally and physically and I honestly think that our foods have a severe effect on the minds of the young and developing. Something needs to change quick because if nothing changes prepare to be done for.
