Lol.. dude paints stuff in all areas of the yard.. paint this in the garage.. paint this on the playscape.. we'll paint this near the fence.. oh and hang this by the outside light.. got cans everywhere while Dad just shakes his head (look at this kid) LMAO hahahaha😂🤣 love videos like this it makes the laughing pains worth it!! No sanding or primer necessary. Next vid please
I respect him for doing it himself and making it what he wants, after all, it is his build not ours. That being said, definitely would've powder coated the frame and had the plastics done by an auto shop. It is very obvious that the plastics were done by a rattle-can. And that for me is a huge turn off. Powder coating a frame is about 150-200 depending on the shop and paint. A-arms are about another 150, shocks are about 75-100. As for the plastics, they can be done by most local body shops fairly inexpensively. Just my 2 cents
You should have just reversed the wheels on the front..you might want to use some comet with a white scrub pad and let them dry in the sun good. Then use a good plastic prep..Then paint.Shoot another video im curious to see what they look like now..cool video though
I would have just used some automotive spray paint. It would hold up much better, then top off with some 2k clear coat. Then you would have a semi decent job and avoid $$$$ at a paint shop. Regardless, this looks good and I’m assuming it held up fairly.
Brendon Lewis yeah but not our build sadly, just hate seeing a decent bike get destroyed by spray paint 🤦🏼♂️. I just like to spend the extra money to have a nice finish and more durable product since it's already off.
Not everyone has a million dollars to get all top notch stuff. He's doing it himself and actually has the ambition to do it instead of just paying someone else to do it all. Or sitting inside glued to social media. Imo
Take it easy on the kid, he’s having fun! Let em be!!
You have to paint the plastic with adhesion promoter first or the paint flakes off. Thats what body shops use on plastic car bumpers.
How did the paint hold up especially on Plastics?
Nice build series going on man I like your editing and I can't wait for that snow wrap should look badass
As soon as those plastics flex in any way the paint is cracking

That not a bad idea also actually👌🏽, the paint held up preaty good tho, lasted a whole season. And the wrap held up preaty good also I was surprised
I noticed you added the wrap, end result looked really dope! 🤙🏻
Yo by any chance do you know if 450r plastics fit on a 400
Have no clue sorry
Good job on the paint looks good but.... you know that shits going to flake right off after acouple rides right 😂
Actually stayed on for a whole season 😏
Tim Katch hell yeah I honestly might try it.. looks good 👍🏻
Thanks brotha👌🏽
How to put plastics back on
The clear is not a primer it’s a final clear coat protectant
Just use a heat gun for the plastic lol
There to used and abused
Your treating your bike like shit spray paint it and using cheap spacers when u should buy a extended axel
Where's part 4 lol
will be making it this week
In my opinion u should have just went with and extended axle at the back
Brendon Lewis I was thinking the same thing, and not spray paint everything 🤦🏼♂️, send it to Powdercoat so it at least looks nice after riding it.
Ford_Cummins yeah true spray painting it ruined it for me
Brendon Lewis yeah but not our build sadly, just hate seeing a decent bike get destroyed by spray paint 🤦🏼♂️. I just like to spend the extra money to have a nice finish and more durable product since it's already off.
Ford_Cummins yah and with he plastics get them wrapped or something like that or maybe rhino lined

Hey dud thats not a guard rell its called a nerf bar
I bet it looked like shit after a few rides and cleanings
johnsn10 it lasted about a year and I repainted it. But honestly it took a preaty good beating for a cheap spray paint job
