Why drill a hole in the rear lights. Just take them off (2 bolts) take the lamp module off and put them in the fun for a bit to dry out , then put a little baggy of silica gel in the back.
Yeah him just accepting that 'quick fix' was wrong, now its going to be able for water and stuff to get in, and for it to ice over. He should of done it properly.
Agreed .. literally an easy fix .. now the rear lights have holes in them 🤷🏻♂️ as a car restorer it pains me to watch this type of savagery

Stick them in a room with a dehumidifier over night. That will suck it out.
Really love this model in this color. Must admit though, the wheels might need to be replaced at some point to larger newer Range Rover wheels. They seem too small for the truck. A real beauty though. These guys take so much pride in their work which is hard to find these days.
This Range Rover certainly looks more regal and imposing than the current one. The current one looks quite feminine and curvy.
What is the fascination with bigger wheels and thinner tyres? I would much rather have a little body roll on the motorway and have much more traction off road AND comfort on road. The lower aspect ratio tyre you have equates with a harsher ride. You do not need to be able to track around a one hundred and eighty degree bend at one hundred and thirty miles an hour as if you were on a Grand Prix circuit. The Range Rover is a luxury car, not a Maclaren sports car. The original L322 was fitted I believe with 18" rims, previous models had 16" and I would sacrifice a bit of "wallowing body roll" for the comfort of a higher aspect ratio tyre any day . And plus the active dynamic suspension will take care of much of the body roll anyway.

I'm very impressed with their work, the Rangie looks very, very good. The interior looks almost brand new and what they have achieved with the seats is beyond my expectations. I am looking to buy a slightly newer L322 and I would like to find a later one of the same colour as I just love it, not however with that bloody grey interior as I had that in my last Land Rover Discovery 2 and hated it lol. I would rather have a cream leather interior for iValet spruce up.
I have been watching Matt at High Peak Auto's videos and I swear the both of you will eventually be the death of my finances if I don't stop watching your Range Rover videos LOL! Honestly though.... I want to get an older example like this and I don't care what it costs to buy or maintain because I'm to the point in my life (40) where new cars and suv's aren't appealing to me anymore and I appreciate older cars and the way they were overbuilt. Thank you for saving this Rover!

I have always wanted a V8 Range Rover and live in a rural area. But when I asked my local garage what he thought, eyeing up a Range Rover on his lift he said please don't bring it her if you do. And then proceeded to tell me about how you have to remove the chassis to change the water pump...so not cheap. Still want one though trying to pluck up enough courage. Or stupidity, whichever way you look at it. lets face it these cars will only be around for so long until Tesla takes over. We should enjoy them while we can.

Curious about that drilling, could it not have been drained by removing the lamp itself?
Yeah thats what i was thinking, I had a similar problem on my old Astra and it was simply a case of taking the light out, draining it and checking the seals. In my case the previous owner or somebody simply didn't put the light buld casing back on correctly when they changed the bulb, 15 minute fix!

It is sagging about 2cm, however completely consistent. Interior will be getting some upgrades definitely
