HAPPY JAMMING!
Quist
As long as humanity is enslaved by control freaks seeking to make us their cattle, we will need the blues to quench our soul's thirst for liberation. So keep on jammin', brothers and sisters, to Reverend Quist's countless invitations to spiritual redemption. Selah!

It’s so hard to recognize shine on you crazy diamond as a straight blues tune. I It’s hiding in plain sight but the licks is it take the timing in the timing of the vocals aren’t start contrast to the traditional 12 bar blues format that the song is in it’s basically just G minor 145 blues I never even realize that because it’s one of the tunes I never tried to play not because it was challenging but because which is so fucking perfect nothing to do with respect to anything baby to really cool like the lake or the vibe it’s just for his ability to have every single instrument and tone and balance lyrics everything so perfect that often times simple musical formats just hide in plain sight because the musical tapestry they create is so expensive. When I was in Rome and 93 I was the subway late night a little bit bummed and I’ve vaguely hear semi crazy diamond playing in my head and I walk through the labyrinth of the Rome subway system to find my train was getting louder and louder and I still convinced it was in my head until it was undeniable that is music when I finally some of the time it was one guy with blue tape recorder playing a backed in track and staying out of the Strat in a prison reverb how much we were being played in subway ride reverb no titles and just playing the simple three not leak over and over and it sounded bigger than any versus time ever heard because of the way it reverberated through the miles and miles subway lines stacked on top of each other separated by a multitude of escalators. It was the coolest thing I’ve ever heard in my life
this is awesome! 20 yrs ago when I started playing I would sit and practice by myself and was very boring...haven't played in yrs but tools like this are invaluable and so much fun to jam with. Playing again often...Thank you so much!
+Gordon James SO great to hear that!!! Thank you
Thank you very much!
Greetings from Italy to all music players
Greetings! Thank you
Sir....from my heart to you thank you. This is a gift to us from you.
+Ron Larson Indeed, thank you very much!!
whenever I don't feel like shredding the hell out of my guitar I play a relaxing blues backing track just to jam for fun. great!
+Sam Boermans that's awesome!!!
Guitar is not a book or paper to be shredded!! It is a tool used for having fun and relaxation. Best of luck to you.
Everybody needs the blues ,sometimes put on a whole cd of backing tracks blues and just zone out, guitar in hand.lol
I like to mess around with blending multiple speeds on some of these tracks with a lot of vibratos. It's difficult for me because I've only been playing a few months but sounds oh so sweet when everything is working right. It destroys my fingers though. lol
Exquisitas bases !!!! para quienes ya luego de clavar 60 años, tocamos solos y buscando el blues....!!!
Beer, sigar, and this wonderfull relaxing blues...a great way to fill the summer holliday evenings! Keep the blues vibes going! 👍 🎸
aaaaaawesome!!
Velmi, velmi emotivní..nádherně se poslouchající blues.... Poslouchám a prožívám každý tón....díky
Often it is nice to have the key denoted along with the tracks. However, a playlist/album style without the 'key hint' like this helps me train my ear and quickly find the right key. Great work as per usual Quist.
Thanks, great to hear! I agree on the ear training :) And if too hard, the tracks + keys are listed in the description!
Fantastic!!! I've been letting my chops get a little slack because I've been working with the guitar alone. They've increased at an incredible rate with these tracks.
Goodness, what a lot of sweetness!
Thanks Buddy... I hope it'll bring tons of jamming joy!!
Buddy Martin interesting points ,if anyone else is searching for guitar backing jam tracks try Sarparder Blues Jam Starter (Have a quick look on google cant remember the place now ) ? Ive heard some incredible things about it and my mate got cool results with it.
