0:00 E Minor Ballad
7:46 C Minor Blues
15:21 G Dorian Funk Rock
23:10 D Minor Riff Rock
30:31 A Minor Melodic Rock
37:58 E Minor Alt Rock
45:34 E Major Ballad
53:04 C Major Ballad
The "verse" of the first track is clearly in E major so it would be appropriate to display a diagram of either E major pentatonic or E Mixolydian. A beginner sticking to minor pentatonic will be confused and wonder why he sounds like shit.
Edit: Also, the verse of "A minor melodic rock" (30:32 onwards) is in Dorian rather than Aeolian.
Btw nice track anyway and this concept of backing track compilation is cool. 👍
yeah, those where the times, when I tried to stick minor pentatonic on EVERY GOD DAMN SONG I have ever heard, just because it sounded kinda not shitty but not good either xD
The player could move their playing around till they find sounds that work....like a real solo artist.
@@Cirithungul No shit.
Edit: actually, having to "move around" and look for appropriate sounds is not a sign of proficiency, quite the opposite.
I've never met a single person who can actually do soloing without knowing any theory or scales. Because they don't really exist.
@@danielk301 ok dude...being able to evaluate your sound compared to what is playing, and then move to a new correct place, is "not" a sign of being good. Ok bud. Anyway, I have a guitar to play. Much more useful than this gatekeeping nonsense lol.
@@Cirithungul That's not what I meant. Of course playing by ear is a very important musical ability. However, any pro musician should also KNOW where to start if they're told e.g. that a chord progression is in E Dorian or whatever. Indeed, almost any true professional can effortlessly do both. These two aspects of musicianship are not mutually exclusive but rather complementary.
Brothey.. you've nade my day.. just what i needed...
This is a great way to just sit and practice
I had a glass of whiskey and smoke in my studio last night as it was my birthday, Jammed to this to no end.
Thank you.
Crazy how you find stuff at the right time in life! Ive been endlessly searching for these similar backing tracks and find a lot of stuff im not ready for or just not my style. These all fit perfectly! Going be a good night lol. Thanks
Thanks for the motavation to play for 60 minutes,, helps to hone in your creativity...
Glad I could help!
Halfway through and not a bad one so far. This actually makes me believe that I can really play! Thanks 😅
Wow that second song was amazing! Great job and thank you for putting this together.
❤❤❤ From Kathmandu, Nepal 🇳🇵 🙏.
Listen for a while, melody ideas will start to appear in your mind. Music is an individual creation so make this song yours and enjoy 🙂
I’m not even intermediate…. I don’t think… and have never used backing tracks to practice… but this super inspires me to try!!
Thank you!!!!
I wish I had started doing it alot sooner. Only in the last few months have I been able to actually make it happen. Can't recommend it enough, especially for beginners. It's the practice that everybody needs, without the embarrassing frustration of your band mates/friends realizing that you're not at their level. Totally worthwhile, compared to just noodling on your own. 🍲
Great!!!!! my new morning routine👍
Perfect timing when I found this. Tomorrow is Saturday best time to have a time to practice by using this tasty backing track! Thanks Buddy!
Enjoy!
love the 4th track chord progression, this is an awesome idea thanks man!
Great! Thank you 👍
This is incredible! Awesome!
Thanks a lot!
Thank you for this.

Very cool concept!

Thanks bruh
Obrigado por cooperar na formação de grandes músicos
4th track is awesome
The sixth backtrack with its A# and D# chords in E minor is interesting.
If one plays the E blues scale both the notes A# and D# are included. And it works on the chorus too. Well actually the E pentatonic minor works flawlessly on all the tune.
On the other hand, I'm not sure about the A eolian scale. How do you make it work ?
By the way, I like the fact that the chorus uses the classic bVI / bVii / I minor. But instead of going to the E minor, it passes first on the V.
I know it's common but I wouldn't have think to do that when using this powerful major move.
These are great! Can you do a track tuned down to 432hz? This is where music is going back to and for good reason. Thx!
you didn't know that's all hogwash?
Can I use this and post on UA-cam after I put lead guitar over it? Give you credit for backing track etc etc.
Please, feel free!
i cant seem to play along using the frets shown. i also play metal and new to scales and stufff.... i have my guitar in drop A# i believe
That's quite a heavy drop tuning, must sound pretty badass... The charts are based on standard tuning, so you'll have to figure out the difference...
@@JRSMusicProductions ya I qas playing a fret up 1 for it to be in key.
@@JRSMusicProductions drop A# is for heavy hardcore stuff
Karaoke for guitars
0:20 its E major
You don't say what to do. Just play anything over the show scales? Nothing about where to play over specific chords?
I'm still figuring things out, in terms of presentation but I think I'm going to stick with scale diagrams that use letter notes to be consistent with the chords displayed, so following the chords with the scale on-screen will be easier.
how about you learn it yourself?
Trying this out! Awesome thanks 👍
Dude, you need to figure that out yourself
Focus on the dark blue dots and memorize those patterns first. Those are the pentatonic scales and modal scales that work. The best thing you can do for yourself is to memorize the finger patterns of the modal scales and learn how they move around when the Keys change. If the major or Ionian is E then the minor is C #(C#Aeolian). That’s as much as anyone will give you in a comment section. Do some homework.
