It's the opposite, Bowser's the result of what the Mario family flushed down their pipes.
The final shot of Bowser looking at what used to be his library almost killed me
I mean, it was his fault for putting it on a loose bridge that could fall by just pushing the axe to the right.
The fact he said nothing makes it alien to other Dorkly skits, in the best way possible.

Okay, you got me. Until the part with the Koopa with a van, I was genuinely believing this was legit, even second guessing myself when I thought the jumping animation looked more Dorkly than Nintendo.

Same. I was excited to see a crazy glitch screen, or an unused map layout. I'm a little curious about what happens if you hang around after the Koopa starts to let his van run.

You almost had me there for the first 38 seconds. Things started to get a weeeee bit suspicious from that point on. Not sure what gave it away though... Just a gut feeling...

For me it was the going-up-the-pipes. You can't do that until game 3.

It's so nice to see you guys return to form! This one is a clever idea that would be funny to see for other games too. lol When I was a kid, I remember visiting a lot of "cheat" websites, where people posted a lot of "super secret" stuff that sounds ridiculous as an adult but I totally believed and tried as a kid. Maybe making the series delve into some of these dumb "secrets", such as finding Chrysalis, the fusion bird pokemon that is a fusion of the Legendary Birds in Red and Blue, which requires beating the Pokemon League while evolving three Eevee into their respective forms alongside the legendary birds, then see them get combined in the spot where Mewtwo stands in Cerulean cave. And then Missingno comes and sells hotdogs, or something. I forget at this point.
Bill’s Garden’s another good idea for a skit, as is moving the truck at the dock for the S.S. Anne to find Mew underneath.

Then one day, one of them actually turned out to be true. (The actual glitch for getting Mew view defeating the youngster after Nugget Bridge and flying back to Lavender Town). Blew my friend's and my minds.

I keep trying. Everything goes fine until I get to the Koopa by the van. Mario keeps getting into the passenger seat of the van and dying from carbon monoxide poisoning w/Koopa. This is *VERY, VERY, VERY* frustrating! What am I doing wrong???
You're getting too close to the koopa. Keep your distance. You'll know when to move closer
There was a playground rumor that SMB had a secret level where you collect fruit (watermelon, cherries, etc). I always wondered what started that. Now I know it was actually just humping goombas.
No no, you got the fruit to PAY the Goombas for a hump; was only in the Brazilian version of the game, though.
This feels like a read-through of the script/storyboard with the finished animation on top! I love it!

I like how mario convinces a koopa to commit suicide but is also very supportive of the two goombas smashing
That Koopa needed to know... Know that Bowser had a warp pipe to Mario's mom's house, how all the Bowser's in the other castles were made, how Mario has been murdering his half-siblings because he doesn't approve of his mom and Bowser and wants to purge the unclean blood, and how Bowser is trying to rescue Peach from Mario but told her to pretend he is saving her if something happens to save her life.
What they didn’t tell you was by spamming up and down, you can actually get past the axe without hitting it. This instead causes a globe to be to the left of the two coins. By spinning the globe (A,left,B,B,B)the coins will fall hitting a hidden vine block that carries you to world 6-4.
First Mario discovering 2 humping Koopas and now 2 humping Goombas.

This kinda reminds me of the secret level in the original Star Fox that had you having to get hit by an enemy and ending up in a weird dimension with warping faces and a slot machine boss, then having to reset the game to end it.

I had a word with that Koopa and asked him what was wrong, apparently Luigi accidentally burned down his café when he tripped over his decorative fire flowers and the insurance wasn't able to cover the cost. That poor Koopa is out of a business and is in severe debt to the Toad Mafia.
I love the fact that at least ONE person will try that for real...

So as Bowser is staring down where his collection used to be, he's eventually going to start crying, and this lasts 10 to 15 minutes in real time. Once Bowser is done sobbing, the camera will zoom out to show Mario returning to the room. This is when you put Bowser down even more by letting him know what an idiot he was for putting his priceless collection over a pit of lava, which is Back, Back, Forward, X. Next, you're going to hit Down, Up, Forward, A, and pull out a book, which is the last thing that remains of Bowser's collection, and dangle it in front of him. Bowser is going to ask for it back, but you're going to make him get on his knees and beg for it, Down, Down, Y. Mario will then say, "Okay, you can have your book back", and Bowser will seem happy, but of course Mario is just going to throw the book in the lava. Another dick move, but Bowser tried to kill him, so try not to feel bad about that.
I love how pleased Mario is after destroying Bowser’s stuff for no reason

I knew about that one. Anyway, Mario whispered to the koopa, "In the future, Nintendo will move to a subscription-only business model, so you can never buy and permanently own games again; you have to pay a monthly fee to play anything, and you still have to pay extra for DLC and premium editions (monthly again). If you miss a payment, all your saves are erased."
I wonder why Bowser would be dumb enough to keep a library on a bridge that can easily be destroyed with an axe
He missed one important detail and that's giving ma a hug, he would've gotten a extra room showing Luigi trying to mooch Mario's leftovers from the other night leading into a heated quite argument where if you press the wrong buttons you or Luigi will shout and alert ma who will smack both of you on the head bringing you back to the beginning of the level. Smh that he forgot that detail.
I'd feel worse for Bowser if he didn't keep his library filled with first editions and rare collectables suspended above a pool of lava beside an axe whose only function is to break the platform they're standing on.
