I am so glad you finally got the chance to experience and test the gyro. Great review, I totally feel the same as you do on its performance and ranking. I’m happy you enjoyed the product. Have a wonderful weekend and Merry Christmas buddy.
I am having hunting problems with it, I had it really bad, adjusted the front end and now its way less. Still like it. Was told could be my controller, have you heard or seen anything like that?
@@RoadsideRC it has front end wobble a bit, it was really bad at first, I installed a slide rack and adjusted the turn buckles, it is way less than before, but also was told maybe gyro placement? I have it on the bottom part of the chassis. I will try to take video this weekend.
I think I'm going to pickup one of these for my old chassis to build up as a spare car.. I'm also interested in the Onisiki 120A ESC. It seems well priced and the fact it can use the hobbywing programming box that I already have is nice.
Hi man. I run this gyro and really like it. I believe it is exactly the same as the OMG V4 gyro. That said I believe all 3 of the available onisiki gyro have the same as the OMG V2/V3/V4/ all pretty good but the daruma/V4 are a very good gyro for the price.
Great video. When you're driving at the track or in the garage. Do you have it on AN or DG? The color change from blue to green. Is that assist mode and Normal mode?
An or dg is analog or digital. That is switched depending on the servo type you have. No reason to change it again. The other color change does change how the gyro performs - and you will need to test it to see what you like better.
I have just purchased the hobbywing xerun xd10 and d10 esc and motor combo with the ota bluetooth programmer. There aren't really any decent reviews on this set up. Would be cool to see your thoughts on it 👍
I just ordered this gyro and the Onsiki 120A ESC, with a Rocket Drift 13.T motor. This is going in a Tamiya TT-02 with a Yeah Racing drift conversion kit. I'm pretty much a novice so this will be interesting.
So have you drove on a HD G1 one yet that's my other choice for mid range gyro wonerdring what you think would be best choice for a beginner going forward Great videos thanks
This guy VS the HackSlider Mini? You’ve said that both were similar to the dp302-V4, but seems like this one may be better overall. At $45 or so, the HackSlider Mini has a lot of bang for buck, so is the Daruma with the extra coin?
Have you run into the issue where? For some reason, it is actually counter steering. The wrong way. I went through got it set to the right Axis Made sure none of the channels were reversed, and yet, for some reason It'll turn into the skid, instead of trying to correct out of it
@RoadsideRC ok so check this shit out I'm running a radiomaster mt12 and I had to reverse the servo so when I hooked up the 3rd wire and reversed it problem solved
does this have that slow return assist like the yokomo V4 in planning yo change my gyro soon im debating if i should get this or the yokomo .. hope you can help😅thanks in advance.
Based on my testing - I would recommend this over the Yokomo. This gyro provides a better feel, while having a smoothing feature to help reduce wobble.
from the many Japanese videos on youtube and from my ability to read , i wasnt trying to give you a hard time , but its like me calling your channel rodsod rc , 🤣@@RoadsideRC

It really is quite good!!!
Very helpful, bc of this video, I’m getting this gyro for my first rc drift car thx a lot
Glad to help!
Love this channel. Been very handy for me as a starter
Thank you for the kind words! Glad to know what I do is helpful!
If I can ask one thing more it would be some more how to start drifting videos. Cause I still suck at it lol
I don’t know what I appreciate more the tips or help with the pronunciations😂✌️
Ha!
Pronunciations are not vetted by the company! :)
Great Video!! I finally bought the last piece for my Rc Drifter (FS-GT3C) and this video helped me put the Gyro (bought tons of Onisiki parts) ❤
Nice! Hope you enjoy drifting!

@Bluespade115 People refer to different problems with different names. When you say "hunting", what do you mean? Describe the issue.

@Bluespade115 Gyro placement has no affect on this. You will need to reduce the gyro gain.
Its the one I have and I am pretty happy with it. Thanks for sharing troy have a great weekend
It really does quite well!
Muito bom Parabens . Very good.
Obrigado!

Yes! This gyro has made me more curious about some of the other Onsiki products.
Wow you've been testing a lot of gyros this year! How about making a ranking video?
Good idea!

It does seem like a quality gyro for sure.
interesting review and setup of this gyro
*full view👀Au👍big like🎅🌲*
Thank you 🤗

Id like to see a set of yeah racing wheels and tires review. They're pretty budget minded.
Thanka for the idea!

You went fancy Jay! Fancier than I typically purchase.
I don't have one of those setups to try. If I did - I would 100% do a full review on it.
Looks good thanks for sharing
This video may be especially helpful for you! :)
@@RoadsideRC I appreciate that very much thank you for using small words
@@maximumrpm1868 Ha!
awesome vids, have you tried the Unity RC UR710?
I have not tried it! Maybe I should!
@@RoadsideRC im thinking is just cheap, will buy the Futaba GYD 550

Nope! Haven't gotten my hands on one yet.
What is that outdoor track made of?
Wood base, covered in rc race carpet.
How my gyro not activate when i plug in to receiver? Is need to calibrate or what?
See this and see if it helps:

Hmmm. I think so. I do believe this is better than the Hackslider mini.
...and then it is only a few more dollars to the Futaba GYD470...
I was between this and the DLike Real Dri. I went with the DLike... but curious how they'd compare if you ever test a DLike.
I'd love to test it, but need to find one to get my hands on. Where did you order it?
@@RoadsideRC snagged one from RC Supremacy while they had some in stock. Super-G has em from time to time also.

Yep! Very common.
Just swap the gyro direction and you will be good to go!

@@RoadsideRC quick question Sakura D5 Mr or yokomo yd2z or RD1.0? Beginner and willing to take it slow to get everything right.
@house530 All 3 are great chassis - but sure come at different costs!!! Pick the one more folks have experience with in your local area.
Is the Reved servo perfectly fits into the slot? Do you have to do any alter?
I think it was fine. I don't think I made any changes.
What are you thoughts on this versus the Futaba GYD470, and what is the difference in the GYD470 versus GYC470? Thanks!
GYD is for drift - GYC is for other uses.
Honestly - real toss-up between the Daruma and the GYD470. Both are very good.

How is it different from the Yokomo V4 and Power HD G1 Gyro?
I actually prefer the driving feel of this one over both of those. Really surprised for the $$.
The link is not working just fyi!
Thanks for the heads-up! Fixed.
Of course, also out of stock on AMain - boo!
🎅👍👍🎅
Looks like an omg v4 gyro in a different case to me
Might be!
Also it can run 8.4v! future proof if you ask me.
Great question - folks don't typically run higher voltage in drift, but maybe in the future!
ok , im really sorry , but its ONISIKI , PRONOUNCED ONY-SEEKY , not onsinky😘
I haven't actually ever heard it said before. Where did you hear it?
