many, many years ago we had a carport/veranda built across the front of our house. Living in Adelaide where the clay soil is extremely reactive, paid extra for 'secure' footings + extra drainage. First heavy rain & one corner dropped by 12cm. Contacted builder who came out & inspected the two supports that had dropped. Further inspection showed that the subcontractor had dug holes, placed a 10L bucket of wet cement into the holes & inserted the support posts into the bucket. Builder was flabbergasted at such a dodgy job. Entire carport was set to be redone but builder went bust !!
I did some demolition work many years ago in a ritzy Sydney suburb. When I broke into an internal cavity wall there were empty coke cans that had been hidden there from the previous renovators. Very disappointing to see.
Silly to have water outlet/shower next to the door. The shower should be placed furthest away in the room. Firstly to have a local shower fall, and then as redundancy general fall in the wet room.
Thank you for always providing such great informative content. Keep you your great work. We need more people like you.

0:25 How sweet of them to leave a pretty bow on the counter like it was a present😂
Does anyone know how to install box gutters and rain head? Every video shows clueless roofers. Who is installing - the baker? What happened to trades?
Go ahead and God bless you and your family
If this is the quality of what you can see, imagine what's hiding behind the walls.....

Final clean…..what a joke. But leaking shower is a disaster. Do you find that many of these setups aren’t done properly?
He does
Thanks mate 👍🏻👍🏻
If these are non compliant property, will an occupancy permit issued by the local council?
Horrible tin roofs. Must sound like a train when it rains

How do builders get away with this??
What is the best way to learn the codes and rules please.
Why are the bosses in charge here? sacked and everyone should know these people have been sacked for the reasons you're pointing out.
Look into the term "tofu dreg building". Its a phrase from China that perfectly describes the volume building mentality.
