I moved out 2 months ago, my only cons so far is how slow and confusing official things are. Our remote work visa set up has been a nightmare! The only other thing is sweetness, I’ve found that bread, coleslaw and many takeout dishes are super sweet compared to what we are used to in the UK. VERY small inconveniences and massively outweighed by all of the pros ☺️
@@UnfilteredDubai welcome I hope your time here is productive and full of adventure. Eating out is expensive but there're some nice spots that's outside of the city that's affordable and delicious. I'm not sure what you prefer but I have some recommendations. If you check out my shorts you'll see lots of restaurant reviews. I LOVE to eat hahaha
I hope people looking to move to Dubai watch this video! It was super insightful & had so much info that I feel like people wouldn’t find out about if they googled it. I really like how you sectioned the video & the topics you covered.
This an eye opener. I heard a lot of horror stories about Dubai, people’s passports being confiscated, abuse, the list goes on and on. Thank you for sharing both sides ( Prons & Cons).
Thanks so much for being so transparent! This is so helpful even if just wanting to visit and not move to Dubai. It’s always good to hear first hand from someone with actual experience.
You're so welcome! I try to be as transparent as possible moving to a new country is a major decision so it's best to consider everything before committing
This was a great information to people who want to relocate in Dubai.. Dubai is a nice place but for me I don’t want to live in Dubai.. I just want to visit the place
This was so helpful. Great information there, I learned that even if you stayed for a long time you can never call it home. I’m looking forward to such information from you in the next videos
Great narrative thank you for the pros and cons of moving to Dubai. However, I am looking to come to Dubai in September and I’m gonna be there for about a week and a half what are your views and information that you may know of getting a job as a journalist?
Thankyou for this video. I am a canadian citizen and wanting to migrate to Dubai in the next 10-12 months. Can you enlist all of the cost for a family of four ( accomodation, travel/gas, schooling, day care, entertainment, fine dine, utilities, groceries etc).?
Thank you for sharing this useful information. Knowing the advantages and disadvantages has helped me a lot. I don't think relocating to Dubai is a good choice for me since I can be kicked out at any time and I can never become a citizen
Woah that was a major turn off about how you can never be a citizen. And not to mention if something happened with my home country in terms of relations, I could be kicked out. And I love green spaces. This is definitely helpful in letting decide if the UAE or Dubai is place for me to live.
That is a major concern here. What a lot of people do is purchase citizenship from other countries through their citizenship by investment programs especially if they feel their home country is not an option to return to
Hi JWill, I have heard that now rents are like $2000-4000 a month for some apartments. I guess UAE now has many Russian Oligarchs aka Billionaires. But they have created an environment to attract Tourists and Investors that have a lots of Black Money and want to dump and live in a safe heaven :D
The real estate market is inflated right now so some landlords are trying to get as much money as they can. There was an influx of a lot of expats recently. You should check out my video on the cost of living in Dubai. I shared some my monthly bills expenses.
I hope this video was helpful to you Let me know in the comments. If you already made the move to Dubai let me know of some of your pros and cons.

Wonderful need to know. Part 2 please
Dubai is a truly beautiful and diverse place. I have seen so many mixed videos. It's nice to see it represented in such a positive light!!
It is a city I would encourage people to experience especially if you are in a position to afford the life here
It’s better one hear these truths before relocating so you weigh the pros and cons. Thank you for this. Well explained
thank you
Good watch! Interesting content. Could you do a part 2 or if possible, the difference of life across the emirates?
Thanks
Thanks so much for being so transparent! This is so helpful even if just wanting to visit and not move to Dubai. It’s always good to hear first hand from someone with actual experience.

I would highly recommend it
Brilliant video, thank you so much for you honesty.
Thanks Jwill

Thanks for these tips. They’ll come in very handy one day . We hear terrible stories all the time
If you get the opportunity to visit I would highly recommend it
I hear you sis! Most is bad news!
Is there a part two to this video?
Thank you so much for this video. Please make a video and tell us pros and cons for coming to look for a job in dubai using visit visa
Please do part two
Great advice to share. I am enjoying watching videos about Dubia. Before, I would of never considered visiting there.
Awesome
Nice to hear this from a neighbour. (SXM)
It's nice to see a neighbour here

I wish that this video was longer.
I'm just wondering how you can get a nanny and the average worker can't afford a private place to stay ?
Thank you for sharing this useful information. Knowing the advantages and disadvantages has helped me a lot. I don't think relocating to Dubai is a good choice for me since I can be kicked out at any time and I can never become a citizen
Glad it was helpful! Hopefully that can change soon. There are other great pros that definitely outways the cons
Lotta lotta love girl. 💐💐💐
thank you
With a family of 5 also I'm wondering what's it like. I hear a lot about the glitz and glamour, but what's the quality of education like?
What authentic companies whih offer remote work
Is it easy to get a teaching job in dubia
🤷🏿♂️‼️Sounds like slavery for jobs✌🏾 My ancestors built america literally🌎💯🖤...
In other words, GOD BLESS THE USA 🇺🇸 🙏 🎉 👍😎✌️

@@funwithjwill oh that’s a good idea to combat this!
Dubai is a very nice place I would love to visit Dubai and see. But I don't think relocating to Dubai is a good choice for us. Great information
It is a wonderful place and one of the best places I've lived
Golden visa is renewable so if you purchase property you can live here possibly forever.
That is true but if I remember correctly you can not work with that visa so you'll have to be financially stable to continue living in Dubai

How is life in dubai for a black family?? Your kids are treated correctly at school as black kids?
Dubai does not sound appealing at all.
I'm still in Dubai so would say it's not all that bad. If you have a good paying job you'll be comfortable.
how teh fak u count of giving a citiizenship cons ??? hhhhhhhhhhhhhhh
