Bobcat 331 Cylinder rebuild

We had a geyser of a leak from the main arm cylinder on our Bobcat 331 Mini Excavator. After ordering the parts here is how we fixed it.

Thanks for the video guys! Did it on my 331 after watching and probably going to do the rest of the cylinders. I have $60 bucks in it and shop said at least $400 to have them do it.

Next time use a large pipe wrench it works alot better

Pipewrench is for hacks. Spanner works fine and is the correct tool. I made my own so i wouldnt have to buy one.

What was the torque on the shaft nut?

Think there was pressure in cylinder when trying to unscrew, making it hard

Thanks for the video. I've rebuilt sway cylinders on my backhoe before but now I have to rebuild the cylinder on my grappler jaw on the 331.
