I finally got my 1275 Conversion done on my Iron man it's a night and day difference I had to have Aaron Wilson build a base map for mine because of my Cams & Injector size. I'm a very large rider on a Sportster 6'2" 325lb and it pulls me around effortlessly If I wouldn't of watched Your video months ago I would have never done the conversion but man it's way worth the investment makes a Sporty so much more fun to ride.
Man your bike looks and sounds so good! And that power, wow, so nice! I have an '01 Sportster (old solid mount with carb), that I just recently finished a 1275 build with Andrews N4 cams, and of course carb re-jetting, new barnett clutch, new valves, head work, new lifters, etc. I could not even believe the power difference, it's a beast and actually kind of scary at first. I definitely wasn't used to that much power, since I've been riding my bike as an 883 for nearly twenty years. But anyway it's awesome and I'm loving it, and still getting used to having so much power, it feels like it's trying to get out from under me. It used to be just a motorcycle and now it's a true beast of a bike!
Next winter I'm installing the Hammer Performance 1275 120+hp kit on my 2000 Hugger. It already has a 1250 kit on it, I believe it's an S&S but I want more horses, more torque, more everything

That sound is the drive train / extra clutch plate. I would get adjustable pushrods to measure the geometry and adjust. Adjustable push rods are fatter and can sometimes be the culprit of ticking as they bounce in the tube. Thats the trade off I suppose. Hammer will tell you everything you need. The easy answer is to call Hammer Performance and get a quote done for your specific needs. The cost really depends on what services you have performed and what parts you go with. Average, work like this will cost about 3k. Money can be saved if you do the install yourself, which was the original plan but I knew that it needed to be tuned immediately so I let the shop handle the internals while I did the most I could externally. 2-1 exhaust is almost always better than 2-2 because of exhaust scavenging. I made 75hp with the heavy breather intake, bassani 2-1 exhaust, and power vision tuner. It can hold multiple tunes which is a plus if you plan to switch back and forth from race fuel to pump gas. TTS master tune is also good but I prefer Power Vision. When you have the internal parts and are ready to get it tuned by a professional, they can work off that same fuel management system.
I have only taken mine up to 135mph or 217kph. I think it has a little more in there but thats fast enough for me. I can only go as fast as the stock gearing will allow.
That's still pretty fast though. I really wanna ask a lot of questions but I'll cut to the chase instead. Is there a setup for a 48 to reach 250kph without enlarging the bore? ex. intake, exhaust, cams, throttle body, lifters

Let them know what you're looking for and they can give you the best scenarios as they see this kind of stuff on a daily basis.
@Primedragoon I don't think there is enough gear left in the transmission to reach that speed come to think about it. I run out of gear at about 210kph or 130ish mph
It has to do with compression, rod length, and the number of pistons given the same displacement. Other brands can rev higher due to smaller rod length but torque suffers a bit as a result. Gearing too plays a big role. Each brand has its pros and cons.

Hammer performance sells you everything you need to do it yourself at home. I originally purchased the kit to do it all at home but did not want to stick with stock lifters and stock pushrods. Valve train ticking is normal considering those mechanisms are only under an aluminum cover right at the top of the motor where you can hear them even better. It is common for Evolution motors to sound like a sewing machine. What you hear is the pushrods hitting against the inside of the pushrod tubes. This is quite common on EVO's with adjustable pushrods because they're fatter. Especially the front one because of the angle.
Different strokes for different folks. With 100db at idle I didn't want to take out the baffles, not to mention that EFI bikes prefer a little back pressure.

The kit was measured out for those stock parts so I had shamrock cycles do the measuring with the new parts to be safe.
I installed Screaming eagle heavy breather and bassani 2-1 exhaust along with fuel management before taking it to the tuner.

💥 Fun ✅ Bike💥
wow...stone brik wall so ouch......
Ticking
Valve train ticking is normal considering those mechanisms are only under an aluminum cover right at the top of the motor where you can hear them even better. It is common for Evolution motors to sound like a sewing machine. What you hear is the pushrods hitting against the inside of the pushrod tubes. This is quite common on EVO's with adjustable pushrods because they're fatter. Especially the front one because of the angle.
Just normal sound for evos. My sportster was the same.
It completely normal my 2005 Sportster 1200 custom with an Evo engine ticks all day.
Kinda muffled and soft. Ill keep my carbs.
Different strokes for different folks. With 100db at idle I didn't want to take out the baffles, not to mention that EFI bikes prefer a little back pressure.
No glove's...no good'...
Only if you fall....I feel they mess with my dexterity...Then again so would falling.
Gaye
