When it comes to standard characters soldier 11 seems the coolest I also like that you have to time her attacks to get fire infusion it brings a different gameplay element. That makes me excited for future characters cause you know some of them will be unique and not just a mash fest.
Hard synergies, factions, and teamups do worry me about huge paywall comps (like HSR IPC FUA team but if aggravated), but damn I gotta admit it’s cool.
Yeah I can understand this. Based on 1.0 from who we are getting (Zhu Yuan or Ellen), I do think having Nicole or Soukaku can be very useful just for being able to set up a base team. Then depending on who your standard 5-star is you can build around that too with the free characters. It does make me wonder in the future though how synergistic 1.0 characters will be with lets say 1.3/1.4 characters or beyond that. I do think though the supportive characters (similar to HSR) will have a really good place on teams in the future too.

Hoyoverse games let you enjoy all contents of the game as F2P. It will not be too friendly to free loaders as usual, F2P will need to give up on many to gain one, which is not bad consider those players don't have money to spend.
This is dumb af considering Kuro games keep giving us free pulls the next patch 1.1 gives 40 pulls and free gems. MiHoYo never gives out proper rewards.

I'm kinda confused. Are you saying that the f2p characters are good in support of your 5 star characters? Are we able to hit pity as f2p players, or is this a f2p characters ranking system, at how good they are at supporting your paid characters? Is it possible for me as a f2p player to roll on and receive a gacha character?
Since launch, the characters haven't made any impact, I like the design of some but they lack charisma, I don't feel any desire to pull for them, which is a very negative point for me. I hope this changes because I liked the combat in the game.

I would say neither. At 5:13 it shows a perry, it's basically switching when the enemy light turned gold in this example!

These are older recordings, so likely not the best settings applied when recording. On launch the game will look good video wise/no freezing!
