I love the transformation on this. Lots of work, but well woth it. I would love to try the new Silk in a light pink color. I am up-cycling furniture pieces, painting in light pinks and donating to the local women's center for bruised and battered women to take with them when they transition to their forever homes.

I love the transformation on this piece. I'm like you, I love my grays, but this
    is beautiful.
To keep from sweating about placement of your hardware, put a little lipstick on your hardware, press onto your tape. No more guessing about where to drill your holes. This trick can be used to hang electrical outlets, mirrors, pictures, etc.
I'd like to try the same color.

Love the transformation! I also love that you stepped out of your comfort zone with the miter saw, paint sprayer and drilling new hardware holes. You did a great job Christina and you should be proud of yourself. Your dresser came out beautiful with the silk paint, new feet, hardware and updating the base trim. It’s beautiful Christina! Love it 😍!

I really like this makeover! An easy way to find the center of any surface is to take a piece of paper or string the length or width and fold it in half. You could use long stock paper.

I really like how the project turned out and how the hardware looks with that beige color! One small note about using the mitre saw--make sure whatever you are cutting is pushed up against the fence for safety when you clamp it down. That will help keep the board from sliding around and make sure the cuts are the right angle since the fence acts as your 0° reference line.

There are so many of these dressers on Facebook Marketplace. People were so into this hardware in the 70s. You really brought it back to life. This is quite lovely Christina! It is soft and understated. Once again- very beachy. I really want to try the silk and would love to try their soft pink on a sweet little desk that I picked up on the side of the road. You have the same paint gun that I do.

If all drawers are the same size, as the bottom 3 appear to be, just use the first one you complete as a template for the other two. Take the completed drawer and place it on a table with the front facing away from you. Take the next one and place it on the table in front of the first with the fronts facing together. Drill through the template drawer into the face of the next drawer. You would save even more time using this method with the top 3 drawers assuming they are all the same size.

Entering contest. Followed both and followed on all social media. I love woodworking and have always wanted to refinish/upcycle furniture. I really love your channel. I’ve watched a lot of other creators, but you explain everything you’re doing so thoroughly and detail all the materials and tools you’re using, even including what size nozzle was on the sprayer. What a great teacher. I definitely like the look and idea of the new Dixie Belle All-in-One Mineral Paint. I’d try Endless Shore or Anchor on my first piece.

Love the hard ware on that piece. I would like to try the silk paint, black sands would be my choice of color.
