      @@avetennis Hey bro. Can you please tell me why would you mention that it`s a harmful substance? What are you referring to exactly?😇

      Well lead is a very harmful substance. It's poisonous if consumed. You'd have to actually ingest some so it's nothing to be too worried about, but it's always best to be careful when dealing with potentially harmful substances.

      @@avetennis Yes, I made a research on hard metals. Thank you for pointing this out in the video. I `m about to use leadtape for my racket. As long as it`s not ingested we should be safe. And just to be sure wash the hands afterwards. Peace and thank you again :)

    How did you go with the play after adding the tape…would be good to know

      Yeah it was great. It wasn't a huge change. But you can definitely feel the extra weight. It's particularly good on my serves I feel, a bit easier to give the ball more speed.

    Is there a reason why you took the protective tape off to expose the lead once you had it stuck on the racket?

      No, not really. I've just always seen that the lead tape is always visible with other people's set up.

    Hi, I bought a racket
    "Head" which weighs 280 grams, I would like to make it reach at least 290 how much tape do you think it will take?
    Thanks, great video!

    • @avetennis
      @avetennis  3 місяці тому

      Well to get it to 290, you’re gonna need 10 grams of tape. Usually they have a measurement of the weight per length mine was 1cm = 1 gram. The important question is though is how you distribute it. You don’t want to put it all on the head cause it’s gonna throw off the balance of the racket, you’re gonna have to put some in handle. You can either even distribute it if you want to keep a similar balance or put a little extra around the head, to make it a little head heavier.
      I’m glad you liked the video.

      @@avetennis Maybe under the overgrip? Thanks for your availability. Sorry if my English isn’t perfect, but I’m from Italy.

      I’m not sure if that would work. I know the most conventional way is to open the butt cap and stick tape to the inside of the handle but it’s possible that you can simply place it under the overgrip.

      No I never had this problem. It’s on there pretty well!
