I’m an iPhone user since XS launch. I think that this keyboard issue is embarrassing. After updating to iOS 17, it has been a nightmare. They still need to fix this, and we are at iOS 17.3 now. Running this version on my iPhone 14 Pro Max. 1600€ for this shitty software issues.. after 5 years, I’m considering to switch to Android again
All i did was delete other keyboards for me was "Filipino" and turned off slide to type, predictive text auto correction, smart punctuation, character preview, "," shortcut. AND IT WORKED THERE 'S NO LAG WHILE IM TYPING THIS COMMENT w's in the chat
It’s insane that I have to disable predictive and reset all the saved corrections the dictionary already has to make the keyboard works a little bit better.
Just switched to iphone today from oppo Reno 8 light for half the price of iPhone 14 128 and never had this issue. iPhone and their fans are disgusting 🤮🤮

I will never understand how people can waste more than 1.000€/$ in a mobile phone which is not even capable of running the keyboard properly, taking into account that we have lots of different models of Android devices whose only worse feature is the camera.
That is so true. I went from 11 pro to S23 (base 256gb) and hated Samsung keyboard until I found Gboard but I hate the camera so got a 15 pro. I feel the same lag now on iOS coming from Gboard. I turn the haptics off on the keyboard always no matter the phone. Then I think I really don't want to miss moments in my life and Camera matters and its the only reason I have doubts and think of selling my S23 even though I love it, and the battery smacks 15 pro out the water.

Iphone is absolutely a trashy phone nowdays I bought iphone 12 and I absolutely regret it. Since iphone 8 nothing is sitting well with this phone. Soon will be switching to android wether Xiaomi or Sony Xperia.

There might be a static problem on your phone when that happens, I use to have the same problem on my Ipad Air when i charge it, you should have it looked up on apple support

There might be a static problem on your phone when that happens, I use to have the same problem on my Ipad Air when i charge it, you should have it looked up on apple support
