Good stuff! These long ass power(?) bfs set ups been calling my name for a couple weeks now lol. I saw an Issei pro staffer flinging their little Danny bug craw thing on an 8’3” jdm baitcasting combo and 8lb fluoro and now you’ve got an almost 8 footer too. I’m jealous haha
It's the Elf C822L! Fun rod! Sorry I don't explore any other brands on Aliexpress. They are usually a let down. I also don't spend too much on Aliexpress as the taxation isn't properly excised, so nothing supports our wildlife like Buying within the country.
Nice keeper, def giving my baitcaster a go pretty soon on the surf. I think the baitcaster not seeing as much wind knots helps and the slow but constant reeling compared to the spinning
@@andrewkim1357 baitcasting reels got advantages and disadvantage. But wind knots is probably the worst thing anyone can experience. Cheaper reels usually yield more of those as well for those who don't manually close the spinning reel bail. But if you wanna do some saltwater casting! It's definitely fun for fluke as you don't need too long of a rod. 7 ft bass rod medium power is gonna work great
Nice work on the flounder Jimbo!! Just got my Hundoin the mail the other day. Now I’ve got to figure out a rod for it. The Fox Hunting is always sold out at Bait Finesse Empire when I go to order it 😢. On top of that, North Carolina closed flounder fishing for recreational fishermen this year 😢. No flounder for me. I’m going to see if I can find that rod somewhere. Keep catching the flatties, I really enjoy watching you catch them!
@@rawrfishing our flounder population has never been better!! It’s literally hard to catch anything else! The problem is that the state government is in cahoots with the commercial fishermen
Oh dude... This ML is perfect I like it, but I need more time! The L is okay too, but it's whippy and shaky when you impart motion to ur lures. No likey for me.
The last fluke portrayed was a fluke that was hooked by another angler, but his line snapped. My brother reeled in the line and i hand line the remaining in. He swallowed the hook , but wasn't too deep. get it out and let him back out!
@@rawrfishing I had a similar episode while bait fishing for stripers .The guy near me had one and his line broke and a couple of minutes later my rod got hit . Pulled fish in and had mine and his rig in its mouth. Guy said that's my fish . I said was your fish you broke off. I showed him the hooks in the fishes mouth and gave him his rig back
Lol, I kept the rig that I removed.. It was a Berkeley powerbait , with fluke belly strip zip tied on the bait keeper haha.. It just ended up in my trash :p
Bravo ! 👏
Thx, 👍👍

nice flounder
@@TBudgetAngler thx mate
What size of line did u use for ML rod but using tiny bait with it
It was still 1 gou. Lures were not that tiny. Smallest was 3.5 inch on a 3/16th Oz might be close to 10 grams hmmm... I should weigh em! Lol
So would you recommend the dragon or the fox hunting for over 5 gms lure/bait
Depends on your situation. Are u surf fishing? And what's the upper weight range?
I sort of want a versatile for both bank and surf weight range 5 to 10 gms

Nice fishing but why you kicking the fish?
@@fmfishing there's a difference between kicking a fish to hurt it and using your foot to get the fish back into the water.
Where are you fishing..
Sorry, if it's not stated in the video, that means I am not sharing the location. Thx for watching
the rod I used is the Shimano 23 Brenious B74L-2 for inshore saltwater fishing, although i only do light game like mackerel and sardines
@@leepao6302 that sounds fun! I got the C711L of the fox hunting rod too! Be cool to find some mackerel here! I know they are here!
