Elvis on his worst day was better than everyone else . The untouchable Elvis !!!!!
He is THE KING for a reason!! THE BEST TO EVER LIVE!!!
Without that song and performance, we wouldn't know about Elvis that much.
This talent was a gift from God to Elvis.
Once Elvis covered a song....you never could hear it the same any longer!!
Elvis you are the best for time eternal...missing you thankful for these memories. RIP.
Beautiful man god I love Elvis he gave everything to his performances till his last day love you Elvis ❤
Even towards the end his voice never failed him. Love the reaction
The World is a better place for having Elvis here. He gave his fans his whole heart and the World is so lonely without him. The best of the best and always will be in my heart and mind! 😉
Elvis was the greatest at all times🙏
and he will always be the greatest 🙏
👑👍🏻❤
Omg ELVIS YOU ARE THE BEST to this day
My Goosebumps have Goosebumps. That sweet precious smile. Heartbreaking. Timeless.
Elvis sang this song towards the end of his live. His voice still strong until the day he passed.
That was his last performance
If he really did die I wonder sometimes 🤔
@@candiniedzielski7263 He is gone
@@p.j.morris633 IDK I GUESS
I guess Im randomly asking but does anybody know a trick to log back into an instagram account??
I somehow forgot the login password. I appreciate any assistance you can give me.
This concert is his last he ever did we all miss Elvis Presley the king of rock and roll his songs his voice will be missed he will be missed by all may he rip we will never forget.👑👑👑👑👑👑👑👑👑👑👑👑👑👑👑👑👑👑👑👑👑👑👑👑👑👑👑👑
This performance and his last aired performance of My Way (especially the version from the docudrama This is Elvis where they play this last aired performance where the programme cuts over the song some images of Elvis over his life, of Elvis smiling etc) always has me in tears. The moment I like in this is that although he looks ill and you know he is at the end of his life, when he turns and smiles he suddenly looks young and like 'Elvis' again.
Thank you for doing these reactions and for sharing your thoughts as well...
Elvis gave us his ALL !!!
Elvis presley earth angel
Elvis was a gift from god ❤🙏❤
Your smile while He is singing says it all.
Rip Elvis Presley 1935_1977 the king 👑
Thank you for playing Elvis Presley love 💕💖
Elvis has a smile that will melt your heart. Very talented.
Elvis was self taught on piano and he played by ear that's why there was no sheet music. I think its amazing how Elvis can take a song and put his own stamp on it and make it his own so the song becomes his. I admire him so much for this performance because he was so sick, in fact he was dying, (6 weeks later he would pass away) and yet somehow he mustered the strength to give the song everything he had, all his heart and all his soul and that sweet smile he had melts my heart every time.
Yes...he still melts my
heart.....
Elvis was self taught in guitar too. Granted, he picked some some things up from Blues musicians he knew and watched in Shakerag (a section of Tupelo where Blues and gospel was predominent), and Memphis...But he really taught himself to play both guitar and piano. He was able to experiment more that way too. 😊
@@joeymac3777 Elvis voice physical health was at its best fifties and early the 60s and from 68 to 70
@@seanfitzpatrick4730 Yeh ok, .but it doesn't mean that he didn't produce some masterpieces in the mid-sixties as well as from 1970 to 77...I find it hard to believe that you would deny yourself the pleasure of listening to them because they're outside your particular 'timeline'...Why did you decide to share your cold statistic after we've watched Elvis give a gut wrenchingly emotionally draining performance from 1977...six weeks before he died...Why?!
A lot of people don't give Charlie Hodge enough credit because he helped Elvis so much with chords and words to songs when he struggled.
I believe this was Elvis's last concert. Imagine being that close to death and still having the ability to belt out a tune like that. He was truly amazing.
This was the last televised concert, his last true concert was in Indianapolis, Indiana 5 days later on June 26, 1977, and performed the previous 5 days.
@@therandomplushchannel4520 Sad he died August 16th 1977 but his voice never left him!
Died a month later
Was his last concert ever 6 weeks later he was gone forever makes me cry every time I hear Elvis sing that song loved it thank you stay safe 😷✌
Kathy Harze Every. Single. Time.
Me too...tears just come....can't stop them...I don't even try.
His last performance ever, was two days later in Indianapolis. I’m a Hoosier girl and I was only 7 when he died, but I can still remember it like yesterday. He was still as beautiful to me as ever! He had a beautiful heart and soul! ❤️✌️
My Momma was a huge Elvis fan. At her funeral, we played Elvis music! His Gospel music is some of the best!!!
He is genius...he is all mesmerising...he is a giant amongst men! This one brings a tear or two. Thank you for smiling upon his performance and embracing his passion. ✌️❤️
Brings tears to my eyes every time
No one does it like Elvis. What a power house of a voice. My favourite version of this song. He was not feeling his best at the time. But that man could out sing them all, even when he was sick. He never lost that voice. Thank you Elvis for sharing your talent with the world. Your gone but your music lives on. And thank you Jay for doing This.👍🏻👍🏻🙂💖
Best ever
Best version in my opinion. Best voice in my opinion.
@@gloriatalbert3913 I agree Gloria 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻🎶🎶🎶
Greatest voice of all time 👑
So sad, but so great!
I watched it a hundred times
and always at the end of the
song i'm in tears!
He gave his all, and he gave it
to his fans!
And that's why we love him so much!
Thanks for your reaction, and you are absolutly right, you can't compare the original and the way he did it!
Both are great, but i'm an E fan, what else can i say than thank you so much for spending a short time with us and giving us so much joy !🙏❤
Hi my alamea🌺
we are forever "hopelessly
devoted" to him!!
🌻😉
Imagine if Elvis sang it's in the early 60s when the voice was much more refined and flexible and his health was 100% better anyway this is a powerful touching performance Elvis was always a great singer but vocally early sixties Nashville was his best voice
@@suzyq7748 🌺
Absolutly and without a doubt!
And i enjoy every minute 😂
Elvis made it his song....He sings with a massive heart
Thank you for playing Elvis Presley love it ❤️❤️💕
When he sings "I need your love..." it rings so true ... RIP The King
Elvis is still the king ...and This Girl still an angel for me !! I'm here in Brazil dreaming with you !! Make my dream come true honey !!!
His body was giving up, but his voice never did. He loved us till the end. He would never perform again, because 6 weeks later he went to be with his Lord and Savior Jesus. Love you..
Elvis has such a wondeful voice, there won't be another Elvis. This was sad too because I believe this was his last performance before he passed away. Awesome singer and I am glad people still can appreciate such an amazing soulful voice.
yes he was so sick here & gave his all beautiful song & I love Elvis RIP Elvis your music will never die 7-2-20
The Aztec sundial suit became identified with Elvis' final weeks on the road.
He was the king of rock and roll 🎸 the greatest thank you for playing this
The King! Nothing more to say.
Best version of this song.. very distinct and powerful voice…
This was his last live televised performance . He died 6 weeks later
@mary mary You are right about the concert date, but he was no slimmer and was not healthier,i mean come on how much weight you gonna lose in 5 days!He died less than two months later!!But Graham Malcolm
did not say anything about his last concert!he said last televised performance!!
Frankie DaFixer Mary Mary is correct! He was slimmer and looked much better those last performances. She right about the drugs and bloating as well.
mary mary you.are correct in everything you said!
@mary mary You’re welcome! The truth is the truth! I can tell you know your Elvis and I
personally have seen pictures from his last show in Indy and you are 1,000% correct. I wish I was a little older or had a time machine to see him perform live! I bet you have some stories!! I have your back Mary!
My dad took my mom for a date to this concert and she said it was very emotional and sad...lil did the audience know Elvis would pass away later that year.
This one makes me cry...it was one of the last songs I heard him sing..I think it was 2 months later he passed and left a huge hole in millions of people's hearts
Elvis was incredibly ill at this time, but he always gave his all. Yes, he's really good on the piano. Thai is the suit he wore at the concert I attended; it's gorgeous.
Were did you see him my parents were lucky to see him in Philadelphia on this last tour
They also said he was clearly messed up couldn't remember words etc. Thank God he went home
He could deliver messages seem like no other for his time. No one like Elvis
That's why he will always be the King!
Just the King
Man he was so sick here…but he still gave it his all. Those eyes are sad to look at. 6 weeks later Elvis would be gone.
@@seanfitzpatrick4730 Gimme a break! "...a good effort..." That's all; you got from this? A good effort?! As another fan I feel sorry for you...I agree about when he was at his peak but I would've hated to miss the many gems to be found in the mid-sixties and from 70 - 77...including this heartbreakingly, incredibly powerful version of UM...This is a great artist, seriously ill with only a few weeks to live, pushing himself to the absolute limit to deliver an amazing performance...and if it wasn't completely "perfect" vocally, he more than made up for that with the soulfully emotional way he sang it...it can bring tears to the eyes, ...it is soooo much more than just "a good effort"...that sounds like the verdict from a judge at a seaside talent contest..
@@davidsandz2186 Thank you!!!
Elvis was at his best vocally 50s early 60s and from 1968 to 70 that's when his versatility and his ability to sing in many voices was at it's absolute best nothing better than Elvis in those time frames no doubt about it
@@VKrulikoski More than welcome...there are even some fans who advise possible new fans not to bother listening to anything post-army...how ridiculous is that...missing out on so many masterpieces...really odd decision.
@@davidsandz2186 I love most of his 70s stuff. I could live without Burning Love, but that's just me.
Thank you for playing Elvis Presley love it 🙏🙏😍😍🥰🥰
He put total emotion into the song
I love elvis soul he touched each person in a special way. Rest in God's peace friend.
Big Elvis fan. 1 time I see this .thanks so much. Time did so much through this Man
He will never be replaced and he hated no one. I grew up like him, now I’m 63 and can’t stand to see all the hate now between everyone.
JAYY, I’m a huge Elvis fan I was 12 years old when he passed. I grew up in the Bronx and I still remember where I was when I heard he had passed. It’s hard for me to see Elvis like this. The people around him failed him. I love the way you have falling in love with Elvis.
You should react to him singing the BRIDGE OVER TROUBLED WATER LIVE IN 1970and JUST PRETEND LIVE IN 1970. And listen to him sing MY WAY LIVE I THINK IT WAS LIVE IN 1973 in Hawaii that was the first tv show seen in countries around the world via satellite. GOD BLESS AND TAKE CARE
JOEY FROM NEW YORK
Best singer to ever sing into a microphone.
@@johnmulligan455Dame Kiri ti Kanawa disagrees. She said Elvis had the best voice, it's not all about power, singing is all about emotion and how it makes you feel. So it's not really about how long you can hold a note or how high or low you can sing. It's about how the listener feels when hearing it. The records suggest Elvis made more people feel great than any other singer.
He may have been older and a little heavier, but his voice never failed him and his smile was golden.
Although he was very ill he gave it all to his fans! Great artist!!
If that doesn’t give you chills and make u cry every single time I don’t know what will
Bring it on Home E! Love you and Miss you!
I think he knew the end was near
I afraid think the same
I haven't yet watched your reaction. I'm certain you are totally blown away by Elvis. Totally.
Even weeks before he passed. He did as he always did. His best. We all struggle some days. Like he was during this. But he got out there and did it!!! Honor ,dedication, fit only for a king
Your still smiling in the same way, lovely to see because he's not the same man here, I think he'd lost the will to live.
Like all Elvis fans we still saw through the man he'd become, and still loved him.
So unbelievably 😥
The guy holding the mic,, Charlie Hodge, adored Elvis and was so dedicated to doing whatever Elvis needed and wanted. It was as if he knew just what to do and when. He was so devastated when Elvis died it was very pitiful to see him in his interview on August 16, 1977
The king lives on
I saw Elvis in December 1976 and his performance was fantastic
Yes J brilliant into he interpreted it his own way and his voice was brilliant very sad to see him like that it was very all that time towards the end of his life forever rest in peace Elvis
Elvis was the best friend i ever had in my entire life. we met when i was 17 yrs old. I won a radio show contest and the prize was a day with Elvis but our friendship lasted past that one day in time. All the memories of my friend are tucked safe in my heart forever. i saw him numerous times he was amazing he was not only my friend but a big brother as well. I never will get over his death it haunts me everyday seeing him in video's dancing and singing breaks my heart because i know he is not here anymore my mind understands but my heart never will, i saw him a few weeks before he passed he said kiddo everything will be okay i said E. nothing will ever be okay again, i was crying so hard he gave me a little kiss on the cheek and said i love ya kiddo always remember that okay i said love ya too E. that was the last time i saw my friend alive again. I walk past Graceland everyday without fail. Anyway i loved your reaction i hope you will watch more of his music videos love from Memphis Tn. Btw Tom Parker was a leech Elvis was a means to an end to Parker i hated him and i told him so on many occasions. Money was Tom's God he didn't care about Elvis at all. his body failed him but his voice never did.
He is so precious.
So Sad and at the same time so beautiful to see this performance................What a wonderful beautiful soul..so Missed.... He was so ill at this time :(
Omg....yess thank you hun💃💋
He was so sick here
Unfortunately six weeks after this ....Elvis passed away😢 fantastic🤜🏻🤛🏻 thank you so much.... and yet up to the next one👊🏻
How can you not love that smile
I saw his very last tour that summer of 1977. At the Providence Civic Center in R.I. He just didn't look well at all. Obviously he had gained all that weight, and he was conscious of it too. Just the way he moved around on stage, you could tell he just didn't have that same Elvis confidence anymore. He was a very proud man, and carrying that extra weight didn't do much for the confidence he always had. But that aside, it was still Elvis Presley. It was the KING OF ROCK & ROLL baby! And one thing about that man that NEVER, EVER, EVER changed? That damned incredible voice of his ! Wow it was absolutely awesome!!!!
The voice never failed him.
His voice never failed him
Whatever Elvis sings it's better than anyone else can do it fact
Wow - His health was so bad here, to be near deaths door as he was here and still belt out a performance like this, that amazing voice never failed him, I think this may have been his last concert.
Elvis avait bien changer mais qu'elle voie et quel sourire magnifique bonjours de france
He was so sick here and a few weeks later he would die, thank you so much for listening to Elvis
That note he hits at 3:49 on the word "mine" and with such power. Like.... WHOA.
Wow! I cried watching him sing this because he was obviously sick, but it was so powerful! That voice😢😢😢❤️❤️❤️
What an amazing man 💓💓💓💓💓 him
I agree with you Jay it was like a totally different tune. Just great but every time I watch this video it makes me so sad to know Elvis dies 6 weeks later. :-(
There are some wonderful biographies about his life you will be blown away by the kind of man he was. Incredibly generous.
Miss this gifted singer.we could use him now
In Tears.
I love him so 💝 Elvis never lost his voice. His last concert is hard for me to watch. 😞💔 Poor Elvis !
I grew up on Elvis records, they were my moms records. She played them all the time. Elvis at Madison Square Garden was his best album
He gave his heart and soul to this song
He gave his all.
Elvis in the early 60s would have took it to another level I have a great day ✌🏼😎✋
What a powerful voice , his voice always melt my heart . check out one night with you from comeback special ( long version with guitare)
King
Elvis Presley home I been to it's fun to go to
Awesomeness right there!
I take nothing away from righteous brothers. They do it awesome too... but I like the most
The great thing about this man is something very special
This performance was his last
Even deteriorating physically and so one, everyone noticed that his performances and amazing voice stills the same
I mean powerful smooth playing with it the way he wanted to
You can see that in an other song form the same concert called HURT
R.I.P
It hurts to see this, hearing him try so hard to breath, he was so sick, and I miss his God given talent so much.
Thank you for drawing my attention to this gem 👏♥️👏♥️👏
