Moving the Chicken Coop

When I purchased my house in California, the chicken coop was in the backyard, close to the house. At first this was fine, but the chickens have really been making a mess of the backyard area near the house and its time to move the chicken coop farther away. Unfortunately, the property is very hilly so moving the coop won't be easy. After considering several ideas, I decided to move the whole structure in one piece, using ropes and rollers to move it along the hillside, and then down the steep slope to the new location.
