That’s an awesome find. Due to the unprecedented weather here in socal this season, I seem to be about 5 weeks behind usual, not sure if norcal is similarly affected, but perhaps that’s why there isn’t much or any fruit on those trees.
If you want to send out some cuttings to see if they are common, I will grow them out and let you know what the outcome is. And you get o name them!!! Anyway so awesome!!!
Wow, very cool to have those trees right on your property! It looked like there was a fig on that new tree at 5:52 hiding under a leaf, not sure if you've seen it by now or not.
Isn't that amazing? You get to grow figs in Cali and now you've discovered wild fig trees on your own property. Love it.

I'd be interested to see how they progress over the summer if you keep us updated.
I really enjoyed watching your fig treasure hunt. Hope you keep us updated when they fruit. Your property is beautiful!

Having caprifigs is awesome because then you have your own wasp colony.❤
Looks like you need a chainsaw, wood chipper, and a couple burn barrels. I love to find wild figs when I visit California.
