  • In this video I build a cheep bender for RHS (square steel tube) it should be able to bend up to 20mm with a 1.6mm wall but will need to be bolted down with a stronger handle bar before I try that, the former's are available in many sizes so with extra holes the bar will be able to be used on different former's so the cost will not go up by much per size

      That was exactly the idea behind this bender and using a weight plate. They seem to be available almost anywhere on the planet either new or second hand.

    Thank You for posting this video. It's a great ideal. I suppose one could use different size radius weights to make different size bends. Also, one could stack same size weights and use a blow torch to heat materials to bend larger pipes. Have you ever tried those ideas? Please let me know. Just curious.

    • @juscozcustoms
      @juscozcustoms  3 роки тому +6

      The different size weights will definitely give different size bends which is why I used it.
      It won't work overly well on pipe and larger box sections will work better with heat.

      Cool. You will need to grab some different size weights for different size bends for nesting and definitely a larger handle to bend 25x2SHS
