IF OLD SEWING PEDALS COULD TALK PART 4: Kenmore's Foot Controllers Were a Sears Servicer's Dream!!

This video shows a very common Sears Kenmore Foot Pedal or Foot Controller/Speed Controller Design from circa 1970-1978. It uses a Carbon Pile setup with the same advantages that Singer's own 'Button-style' foot pedals had. These were incredibly easy to disassemble and reassemble and for good reason. Sears once had a huge infrastructure for repairing and maintenance of their mechanical merchandise. So, it stands to reason they would want things like a Foot Pedal to be practical for repair. Thankfully, it really makes our work as restorers so much more pleasant. Pardon the sudden cutoff at the end as I was just about to sign off on this video :-)
