Structural Changes of Global Apparel Brands: Addressing New Challenges in Internal Competitiveness

The webinar provided a comprehensive overview of structural changes, challenges, and strategies in the global apparel industry. Shri Vijay Mathur's insights emphasized the importance of sustainability, technology, and fair practices for competitiveness and growth in the apparel sector.
Prof (Dr.) Seshadri RamKumar from Texas Tech University, USA, the renowned Scientist of international fame and a veteran in Technical Textiles, Cotton, Textile Manufacturing and Consumption while giving his views, highlighted the significance of cost optimization and the impact of trade agreements on the market.
Dr. Kuldip Sharma, the past Chairman, NISTI and Shri Gopal Bhasin, NISTI Patron also offered their considered views and useful insights on the subject and coverage by the speaker.
Dr. R. A. Lal, Chairman, NISTI, expressed his happiness on the huge presence of participants which motivates NISTI to organize more such events. He expressed his gratitude to Prof. Nien for excellent moderating, active participation of learned fraternity from across India and abroad and also for the considered expert views of Dr. Kuldip Sharma, Shri Gopal Bhasin and particularly Prof. Sheshadri Ram Kumar, who in spite of not being well, graced the event with his presence and also shared his experience to the participants.
