- Morrissey performs "Certain People I Know" Live on the Tonight Show on October 9,1992.
"Certain People I Know" is a single by Morrissey released in December 1992. It is the third single to be taken from the Your Arsenal album and is the third and final Morrissey single to be produced by glam rock musician Mick Ronson. The track is in many ways a tribute to the influence of Marc Bolan on both Morrissey and his guitarist Boz Boorer, featuring a guitar line played by producer Mick Ronson that recalls "Ride a White Swan" by T. Rex.
No one has a sound like Morrisey. He's completely original and has such good style. His lyrics are catchy albeit a little depressing. I've just been a massive fan of his voice and melody since my teen years. Oh, and he has great hair too.
No way are his lyrics depressing. They're hilarious and/or uncompromisingly true. Never anything else.
I love this live version, no one understands the gratefulness of this
Great performance! Morrissey is more Country than 99.9% of the "country" artists today.
Those eyes!!! Been loving him for 31 yrs. Was A freshman in math class when I found out about him. 💙Ⓜ💙Ⓜ💙Ⓜ💙Ⓜ💙
Don't let those blue eyes fool you....they're just gelignite loaded and headed right between your eyes. Amazing eyes and brows .

peak performance
perhaps a tribute to mark bolan and james dean...both broken necks
The song heavily calls upon a T. Rex song, so yes, it seems to be a tribute.
@@sweetnuthinyes Ride a White Swan definitely
Lol the fucking flag is upside-down
dont know if you know but he's very anti royalist and he's doing it on purpose to make a statement
What do you mean? It looks fine to me?
@@Crissttijust Google the flag, it's not symmetrical and can be shown upside down
It's on purpose
It’s not upside down, it’s reversed, and yeah I guess they hung it that way because of how Moz feels about things. 🤷🏻♂️ Cheers!
