This is still one of the best performances from Later over the years. The live sound is superb. Every note, every beat, every syllable...crystal clear. Morrissey never sounded better. Wonderful memories. Thank you.
Complete move of genius here from moz. He pretty much grabbed every decent musician from every decent psychobilly and rockabilly band after its late 80s revival heyday.
0:20, it's a real gem, (green tourmaline) for 9/11 Truthers. Jools Holland presents a Russian band whilst holding a life size model of the plane that hit the Pentagon on 9/11/2001, you know, considering how they've demonized Russia and Putin for the last ten years 😅
Boz was a bit off geez, but they with The Cure were holding the British gate open at the time.. then every genre exploded & they struggled mid to late 90s.. was the last interesting era in music perhaps imo

rockabilly morrissey is one of the greatest morrisseys
that line up is legendary!
Every single person is on point here. Seminal performance, seminal sound...
Best band Morrissey had! Best songs!

I also love the Suedehead version on this programme. Like you say, one of the best performances (in my opinion).👍
Got to disagree. Although this clip is good, his 2022 voice is far better and stronger. Maybe the band as well, but I did enjoy the rockabilly era.
Brilliant performance, this band was the best!
Morrisseys voice is on point here
Most stylish band, ever!
Yeah, they catch my eye - will stay with this bank forever. Thanks.
His best band by far!
he really knows how to pick musicians
Perfect live sound!

Late 80's revival heyday? - the revival was late 1970s
@@stuartwray6175 meteors, guana batz, frantic flintstones, ftenzy? , all them lads were knocking about mid to late 80s.
Outstanding performance of a brilliant song. The bum note by Boz at 01:56 can be forgiven because he recognises his error gives a wry smile!
Hah! I just made the exact same comment then saw this!
This man knows all about ~ Certain People ~
And boy, don’t _they_ Know it!
God Bless Morrissey...
“there's always someone, somewhere
With a big nose, who knows
And who trips you up and laughs
When you fall”. What did he mean by this🤔
@@Harry_84 lololol never thought about it that way
THE MAGNIFICENT " MORRISSEY " !!!
Just magical
Morrissey ...the king of all UK ....
Of the world.❤
Ooh my heart ❤️😍oh moz is such a beautiful Man 😍great time 😊
A terrific raw sound and sweet melody! Morrissey's rockabilly stuff influenced our quadruple-album. No Serial Killer.
My favorite era from his solo career 1990-92
Would be great to hear this Saturday at Wembley 💙
Alain switches to toggle switch at 3:24, where he gets his swag on.😗
What can i say... wonderful!!!
This guitarist smiling at his bum note on 1:58 made me smile. He pulled it right back and nailed the next run at it.
What a drummer x
From Mozza's best album. He was so good back then.
Still is!
Boz is enjoying this song!! Been with Moz a long time.
Thank you for posting Darren Wilshaw. Anything Morrissey and the Band.....!!!
Mozz alive.. allways the best...
since 1959 my friend:)
Jeremie Kydd may 22nd 1959!
Excellent.
I remember watching this at the time and being blown away by Loiko...and I've just noticed the Silitoe quote too..
J'aime beaucoup.
💕💕💕swoons💕💕💕
Banda maneira
The song starts at 0:50
PS - Jools cuts off at the end.. we'll never know who spent a year locked away in his bedroom with his guitar now..
It was Matthew sweet, I watched it so many times over the years that I remember!
Morrissey for Mayor
💜
Steven on form here
Morrissey and Tori Amos on the same episode... good times
Very T Rex, such a great song
Seems weird seeing a skinny Boz. So used to him being heavy for so long now. He definitely never joined Moz in the vegan way of life lol
Seems like Morrissey has not joined himself in the vegan way of life. Just look at him without a shirt.

Boz all over the shop!
Any of Moz's bandmates could easily sit in as members of Social D.

"A 17th century violinist, whose 'plane' made people laugh 😂 and cry" 😢 - Journeyman
Where is the other song he did that night,
SOUPRUN10 he did sude 🤕 head
@@granto6738 I always find it odd he did Suedehead. With it being 1992 you'd have thought he'd have done another song from Your Arsenal.
@@erniemccracken2429 I'm sure he also did Glamorous Glue on this episode.
Huge arctic monkeys reference
Which they took from a quote from the film "Saturday Night and Sunday Morning", which was also a big influence on Morrissey.
